View 3 RepliesI have an IPhone that syncs to my Outlook 2010 via Exchange. The email and calendar syncs automatically. I would like to sync my contacts but currently have that setting turned to "off" because I want to add my Outlook contacts but not lose my contacts on my phone. If I sync the contacts will it just add the new ones and not overwrite the existing contacts on my phone?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am looking to sync my S5 with my outlook 2010 calendar and contacts. Don't care about the email (frankly I don't want to be able to reached at all times for work requests). I think the software that I want to use is Kies. I have a few concerns that I want to clear up before using.
1 - I do not want my phone to overwrite what is on the computer. That would be a disaster. How do I prevent this from happening?
2 - I have many different calendars on my outlook and only want to sync one of them. How can I do this?
3 - What else should I watch out for before syncing. I want to avoid any hiccups if at all possible. Losing the work calendar would result in some mass chaos for a few weeks.

This is what I did: connected my phone to my computer and went into synchronization setup for the Address Book from the BB Desktop Manager. A list of available applications is displayed and includes Outlook Express, ASCII importer/exporter and Yahoo, but no Outlook 2010.I found an article mentioning that this happens if Outlook doesn t have a MAPI client installed, but I m not convinced that this is the source of my problem, so I wanted to ask to this forum before embarking in some changes to my Office 2010 software.I updated the device softare to the latest versions, the device properties panel says Platform version 6.6.0.223 Application version: 6.0.0.600

Now all the Apartments in BB are still there but even choosing to put them on Outlook only one way not mutually it still does not work. It only syncs the Default Calender into Outlook.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen will Blackberry Desktop Manager be able to sync with MS Outlook 2010? I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.
I recently bought a Blackberry Style, and am connecting to a WIndows7 PC with Outlook 2010. I set the Blackberry desktop software to sync to Outlook, and it worked the first few times. However, now every time I open the desktop software or try to manually sync, it reads the calendar entries but then I get the following error message: "One or more configured folders is not available. Update folder mapping and try again."
