Feb 19, 2012I have bought new Blackberry Bold 9900 with OS 7 after I saw new OS 7.1 with hotspot feature OS7.1 but now I am not able to upgrade to OS 7.1. When I go to update software it shows there is no update software available. how I can update to OS 7.1 so I can use hotspot feature

May 30, 2012I upgraded to BlackBerry Desktop software v7.0.0.59 (Bundle 60) after updating I checked the update & availability for my Bold 9930 so I went into the update device tab to see if Verizon 7.1.0.267 was available & it was not available after checking the availability I disconnected Bold & went into (Options-Device-Software Updates) still not available my next step was to do a soft reset & battery pull to maybe see if that would solve problem & still not available.

Apr 23, 2012I received a Bold 9900 handset via RIM EPP program. It came with installed software version 7.0 Bundle 2395(v. 7.0.0.579, Platform 5.0.0.735). I am having trouble with using Appworld and among other things sudden resets to handset. Have tried couple of time to upgrade the handset to 7.1 software using both desktop manager as well as OTA mode, it always tells me you have latest build installed. if there is a way to update this handset as it is not working very well for me at present.

I was tired of getting the run around from AT&T about when this would get updated and now I see 2.3 is coming out and there is still no update info from AT&T. Well I ran into a problem. First of all I didn't backup the phone before I ran the flash (idiot mistake) I ran the flash and everything seemed fine until it rebooted. Got the camera and the little arrow waited for that to go thru and the phone now keeps restarting itself.

Apr 28, 2012just upgraded to ics yesterday and now im unable to connect to android market and im having issues with the connection using wifi.google market apps and other apps does not connect to internet using wifi. the only apps albe to connect till now are Internet, gmail and the built in web browser. if i use any third party browser like opera.no connection at all. got message "connection timedout" tested the same apps with data connection and just works fine. the issue is only while using wifi.already performed a repair using pc compagnion.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the PC companion and when this didn't work I uninstalled it again and redownloaded the must current version from SE website. Nov 20, 2011Iam a BlackBerry Bold 9780 user and my current device software is 6.0 Bundle 2475 (v6.0.0.546) using Blackberry desktop Software version 6.1.0.35 for windows pc. The BlackBerry Bold 9780 is a unlocked phone using vodafone network at Mumbai India.
I recently installed new official release O.S 6 device update v6.0.0.668 meant for Bold 9780.But when i connected my phone through desktop manager and check for update the desktop manager is unable to find new installed device software on my windows pc. But when i check the supported resources in the desktop manager the new o.s version installed reflects as New installed BlackBerry Software.
I would like to know why current desktop software or manager for my Bold 9780 phone is unable to find new official released device o.s software..I have been able to update my device o.s version when installed on a earlier desktop sofware installed on my windows pc.

Apr 4, 2012Upgraded to iOSX 5.1 Previous used it hands free in my Dodge Ram with RES radio with UConnect Bluetooth.Now, will not connect.I think this is an iOSX issue mainly as I notice now when making a call (anytime) where I the audio output speaker or other audio option (iphone or Uconnect) I now only have the option for speaker. I have:Told bluetooth to forget the original device and renamed the phone in the Uconnect memory option.Done a hard reset of the phone itself.Spent plenty of time banging around looking for UConnect upgrades or downloads to no avail.
