May 23, 2012I accidentally deleted some pictures from my phone. I downloaded a software1 (not permitted to disclose the software) to recover my deleted pictures. However I could not recover them as this software was not free. I then downloaded blackberry desktop software and backed up everything. When I downloaded ZAR 9.1 it showed my memory card as being emptied. I then tried the software1 and it showed my memory card being emptied as well. I would like to learn how I can recover these pictures.

Jul 18, 2010I deleted the camera icon because on my Blackberry tour, you could access the camera option by going to media, and then going to pictures. For whatever reason, in this newest version, you cannot.
So my accident, I did delete the icon. And now, i have no idea how to get it back. I tried a couple backup features on the desktop manager, and have tried to do a couple other things and to no avail.

When I am typing a text (SMS) message on my new Blackberry Bold 9700, if I press ALT-DEL it will delete the entire message. I never had this problem on my old Blackberry Curve 8900. Wondering if there is a way to fix this problem?

Sep 3, 2010I was sorting through my photos stored on my cell phone. I was trying to rename each photo. I've apparently lost one of the photos prior to processing the name change. I didn't separate the photos into folders. There are only about 10 photos on my phone. I have no idea how I could've deleted one of the photos. If in fact I accidentally hit the "delete" button, is there a feature that states, "Are you sure you want to delete?" Regardless, is there anyway I can recapture that photo somewhere on my phone? Is there a trashcan feature like you have on your laptop where you can go back in and find it? OR is it lost forever?

Feb 4, 2010I have a N85 Navi which I bought less than a year ago. I updated this week the maps and the application (latest version)and added one voice for the navigation. After this update when I open the Maps and select Settings and Navigation (to change i.e. voice), Maps closes automatically without any error messages. I can open all the other settings sub-menus. Any ideas why this is happening? Do I have the to re-install the application, maps and voices?

Oct 25, 2010I had my blackberry as well as my memory stick connected to my pc . I wanted to clear out my memory stick and unfortunately in a moment of complete distraction I deleted all my folders off my BB! I could kick myself!! So now when I connect my BB to my pc all the folders appear as shortcuts and are only 1KB in size. I can take pictures but it does not save them, I cant take videos or voicenotes at all. I cant copy and paste anything into them. If the folders now appear as shortcuts surely the original folder can be restored? My contacts, email and IM settings remain the same - Its just the "Media" I am having a problem with! When I called our service provider I was told that I needed a new memory card and that will restore all the settings. That does not make sense to me.

May 16, 2010I tried to update the version of Maps on my 6760 slide to 3.03, not realising that it doesn't work on this phone yet. Anyway, I uninstalled it after it wouldn't open the app. Now how do I get version 3.01 back on there?The maps download site does not include the 6760 in the list to choose from. I followed the manual's instructions to downgrade (do a backup, hard-reset), but after the reset the app is still missing. I guess the app was installed on the micro-sd card, not internal memory.What do you suggest?

i re did the settings however the service book entries were deleted so the error is still present

i cant really make a backup now because when i wipe out and restore my settings will still be without wap. lets say i used the advanced option in backup restore and backed up everything except options and wap settings would that leave me with a new restore and keep my fido my account apps and just have to resync my email etc with the device?
i pretty much can't watch Internet videos and it hurst.
