I have charged my brand new Bold all night, and all I get is a slow red light, blinking on and off. Tried battery pull, plugging in with charger connected, no battery, and connecting to usb.

I charged my Bold 9930 all night and now it won't boot up or reboot. I tried a battery pull to no avail. I can't see my BB so I can't give screenshots or too much more info but I will try and answer any questions to the best of my ability.
I bought one of the awesome looking charging pods for my 9930-- but it doesn't charge my phone. The battery icon indicates that it is charging when I place the phone in the pod and the pod will activate bedside mode (when I have that function activated), but I have left it over night and the battery does not charge.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Bold 9650 died and would not respond to anything. Thinking the battery had drained I plugged it into the A/C charger, but nothing - no red light, no response. I then plugged it into the car charger and about 15 minutes later it started to re-boot.After an hour on the car charger it read full charge and I thought all was good. However, after 3 phone calls it went dead again. Thinking it was the battery, I replaced it with a new one - nothing. Took the old battery and plugged it into another 9650 and it booted up with 100% battery. I'm now thinking it's something in the phone, but don't understand why it works on the car charger and nothing else. I did find that if I charge it on the car charger, and then attached to either A/C or USB I can get it to last longer, but as soon as I unplug it I've got about an hour or one phone call before it's dead again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI left my iPhone 5s to fully discharge last night. Today I have come to charge it up and it wont boot up past the Apple logo and charge up. It appears to keep throwing itself back to thinking the charger is repeatedly being plugged in. The phone was working perfectly before I went to bed.Â
I use original leads, have cleaned the connection port, tried another lead but no luck. I have held both buttons down etc but nothing will get the phone working and as I cannot get into ISO I can not do a restore.Â

Ive got a big problem with my phone. It went dead last night and i tried to charge it with my pc and all i got was the red light. Once i got it to a wall charger the phone charged for a little booted and everything. It even accepted the txts i recieved while it was off. I leave the house for a couple hours i come back and the phone is off. When i plug the phone in nothing happens not even the yellow charge light. when i unplug the phone the red light comes on for a minute but the phone wont boot ive tried battery pulls and everything but the same thing happens everytime and i have no idea what to do. Ive never had this problem with any blackberry ive ever had.

The device was disconnected. Reconnect your device and try again." So I did . . . three times. Same message each time. This doesn't happen every time, but at least 3 or 4 times a day. Is this a known problem with Blackberry or do I have to contact Verizon? I am able to make calls with the 9930 but have been unable to activate the Enterprise service on it. I have tried using the desktop software to switch devices but that seems to have only transfered the data from my old phone to the new one.
I bought my BBB 9930 several months ago, today my phone did not start. I tried everything, taking battery out for about an hour, direct connect to PC etc..Every 20 seconds the blackberry logo and bottom bar will slightly light up (faded low low light) and disappear right away then 2 seconds later the red light will turn on and off and then the same thing will happen again 20 seconds later into a loop.

The original carrier of the phone is Sprint. i have a problem with my 9930 not connecting to BIS. i'm in nigeria and my phone runs on the MTN Nigeria network. I have noticed this is now a common problem with 9930s running on thesame network in nigeria. the phone is a 9930 verizon running OS 7 on the MTN N network. i have used this same phone in glasgow the last time and it had no problems but on returning to nigeria the BIS stopped working. i dont have any other problems with this phone as much as i know.

I have a some apps (facebook, twitter, poynt, BB news, BofA, evernote, wikitude, scoremobile, google maps, BBmaps, IMO, Bridge, SayIt and maybe a couple of other small ones) but before this last upgrade to OS 7.1 I was always around 200MB left, which still isnt great but its better than what I have now after the upgrade which is 140MB. Does anyone else have this problem? Its great that they increased the internal storage to 8GB but that does no good when you cant use it for apps, and besides I have a 32GB SD card in it so I dont need that 8GB for media storage. Is there anyway to increase the amount of storage without deleting the apps i have? I have these apps because I use them. I had the same apps on my 9650 and actually had more room 250MB or so.

Left the phone on the charger throughout the night, woke up, went to check my messages, and the phone was no longer turning on. I dont know what happened during the night.Went to Verizon: the guy gave me some bs about how the phone has had water damage (as evident by corrosion on the charger insert location). I have since been told that there is in fact no water damage (the item that is supposed to turn red when there is water damage is still white) and that the corrosion is merely the fact that I use the charger.

I've put another SIM cardbooted it OR placed any other NEW SIM card it - it gives me the attached Blackberry ID sign in screen!!!it fails to authenticate me - because it needs the _internet_(because if I boot up with my original SIM card and enable WiFi and boot with any other SIM card - only then it's able to authenticate me... with same pass and etc...this is odd and actually crazy... it relies on the internet to give me access to the phone - if I'm in a middle of an undeveloped country no 3G or WiFi - and need to reboot / use another SIM etc... how does it expect me to authenticate!?and even more I am worried that even if I wipe ... and restore to factory - I will end up being presented with this sign in screen...I've tried to remove the BlackBerry ID in options - but can't see a way to do it...is it OS 7 issue?is it the AppWorld 3 issue? should I remove it? should I uninstall it?what do you think will happen if I enter the wrong sign in password 11 times?what ever it is - there must be some sort of a work around.

All is good with the phone except issues with the GPS functionality. The phone does not show any maps and the screen is blank once clicked on the "Maps" icon. Also the phone is not showing and guidance with voice assistance and the map display. I am using Vodafone IN as the service provider.
I am about ready to throw this phone away and I have only had it for 6 months. I have to do a battery pull at least twice a day because it just stops working.
