my blackberry bold 9000 is not working.. i mean 2 days before it suddenly reboot and after that it wont start. its red light flash for 30 second then its tried to loading but in 10 seconds it reboots again and it is not starting. even when i tried to connect it with pc, it is not connecting with desktop manager. i am worried. i searched for all solutions but not getting any usefull information

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday i installed an app from Dictionary.com called Dictionary. i already had it installed but wanted to perform an update cause u cannot copy and paste the corectly spelled word directly into wherever u originally mispelled it. Anyway i performed an update, Bold asked me to reboot, now the phone boots half way, then restarts.over and over and over and over. Im back down to my Pearl. Is there any way to salvage this situation without me having to erase and reinstall everything from scratch? Is there a"safe mode" i can boot into on the phone and manually remove the app cause i have a feeling thats what's causing the reboots.

hey guys my bold has rebooted at roughly the same time for 3 days in a row now. At around 6:10am (withing 2-3 mins each time) ive looked at my phone while driving to work and see that its rebooting...I bought the phone a few weeks ago and dont know if it has been going on the whole time but is there a fix or known explaination for this ?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI am having BlackBerry Bold 9000... i was out of country so i wasnt using my bold for a month now the battery has totaly drained i charged it for 3-4 hrs but no luck then i googled for this and got a method that keep wall charger on and remove the battery and put it in after 30 seconds. This showed up a sceen with battery and a bolt but now the red light glows for 50-60 seconds then the white screen with bolt and battery comes up then screen goes off and red light lit up. this is coming repetedly that is screen.

Im desperately need your help over this matter, i have sent to couples of repair shop, but still, they cant rectify my bb bold problem.My bb wont charge as the result, it wont open and load to the homepage. even if it did, it will repeatedly load the OS.Can someone give me some leads on this problem? something to do with technical errors. Btw, my battery is fine, tried switching it with my friend's bold, and it works. .so no problem with the battery. .

I updated its software through my computer and after it had finished i plugged it in to my wall charger and went to bed, the next morning it would not start up or charge. i tried letting it sit for 24 hours without the battery in, and Ive tried letting it sit with the battery in, it doesn't seem to make a difference. when i put the battery in the red light flashes once very quickly and then doesn't do anything else. every now and then right after i put the battery in and then put the charger in right after the red light comes on and stays on for as short as seven seconds up to a couple of minutes. Is there anyone who can help me get my blackberry back up and running or is it just an expensive paper weight?

I am very used to the Iphone and HTC Touch Pro 2 (not trying to start a flaming/argument/anything else , its just what i'm used to). I am very used to browsing with the other phones and I have heard that BB phones are not up to par, so my expectations will be low. Out of the two phones however, does one perform better than the other (Curve 8530 vs Bold 9000)? Out of the two phones, which one do you recommend overall. I have read that the Bold 9000 even though it is older, it still outperforms the 8530...

The device still works, but two thirds of the LCD is now white and there's what looks like an inkblot on the left side of the screen. I'd like to try to fix it, but don't really want to shell out a lot of $ to do so --- I'm a month away from upgrading.Does anyone have any suggestions, or perhaps a dead BlackBerry with a working screen that you're willing to part with? A DIY repair -- this is out of warranty anyway -- looks straightforward, but I'm not sure I want to spend the $100 or so for a new OEM part to replace the LCD screen.

Now gmail, facebook, browser - none work. I've tried the battery pull, turning on/off the network, run a diagnostic test from mobile network options. In the mobile network test i get the volling anomolies "Blackberry PIN-PIN: No" and it says can't connect to my email (gmail).
View 5 Replies View RelatedA few days ago I pulled my phone out of the holster and It was really hot and when i looked at it i realized it was off, and wouldnt turn back on. just a red light comes on like normal upon a battery pull but after it turns off the red light comes back on again once more then stays off for good. unless i plug it in then it comes on and goes off all the time. I got it powered back up yesterday but then it did it again. Today I plugged it in and I saw a picture of a battery come up on the screen showing it as empty, i was hoping that meant it might charge up. but no such luck. My main objective is just to get the phone up long enough to back up the info on the phone.

Some have reported that the 9700 can hold charge upto 2 days even after heavy usage. So i was wondering are the batteries really identical in every way as claimed? and if they arent is it possible to swap the battery of my 9000 and expect a longer battery life? coz the one im having right now only seem to hold charge for about 15hours with fair usage on a 5.0 OS Zain Kuwait.

After I did this I started to have this issue where it would start to reboot on its own, sometimes once a day, sometimes 5 or 6 times in a row and it would drain the battery. Also I noticed the battery level on the screen isn't reflective of what the battery level actually is, it would go from full to red in seconds. its really drive me crazy.
I would do a battery pull and it would be back to 80 or 85 percent. I bought a new genuine blackberry battery to see if that was the issue but still same problems. I wiped the device and re-installed the original os from desktop manager twice and the problem is still there, very frustrating, any one have the same issue and managed to fix it?
i was downloading blackberry protect in my Bold 9780 from app world and suddenly the device started rebooting by itself again & again....while rebooting the process of reboot reches upto 60% or 70% than it againg start the reboot process.....so it would kind enough if anybody can help me with this problem as soon as possible....& i also dont have backup?

I have changed phones 3 times now (within 8 days I get a new phone) but I have the same problem each time. Probably a software thing?
