I tried to install with App BB Twitter by Rim but after some minutes I have this error message:
uncaught exception application net_rimbb_appworld(273) is not responding.
After I have not installed Twitter by Rim.Can you help me, please? I have a Bold 9000, carrier Vodafone, with V4.6.0.126, server BES.
I installed it but don't like it. It is messing with my twitter. How to remove the twitter for bb application? I can't find a way to delete it.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have os 4.6.0.282, platform 4.0.0.235 (telstra) on my bold 9000 Berry and when i connect it to the desktop manager it tells me there is a new O.S 5.0 available but when i goto download it, it says i must have an active Blackberry service subscription and it tells me to goto the blackberry site for more info. im not sure what it means by Blackberry service subscription but i use to have the blackberry e-mail and data on my plan but i took it off because i didnt use it all that much and tesltra is a rip off. is that what i need to have active to use OS 5.0..? if so is there a way for me to install OS 5.0 without putting the blackberry data service back on..?

I downloaded BB OS 5.0 for BB Bold 9000 for Zain-Kuwait Operator from Blackberry official site as I need Arabic support in it then I installed the exe file. Deleted the Vendor.xml from C:Program FilesCommon FilesResearch In MotionAppLoader and Started the Loader from the same folder above but it refuse to update to the 5.0 and if i clicked Browse and selected Blackberry.alx from the new software folder in C:Program FilesCommon FilesResearch In MotionSharedLoader Files9000M_v5.0.0.464_P5.2.0.41. It tells me This Apllication is not compatible with your device and cannot be loaded.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a question on the "Memory" usage in BB Bold 9000 that i own.When I install APPS from BB App World, it shows me memory bar and now it has reached to 10 MB FREE (IN RED - which obviously means it is too low.)
Questions :
1) Does this mean that I wont be able to install more apps as those 10 MB will exhaust pretty soon?
2) Is there a way to install apps elsewhere if the above is true? I have a 8 GB MicroSD card installed. Would it work normally?
I've just updated my Lumia 1020 to Windows 10 preview 10572. Everything seems ok but for one thing - I can't install the twitter app. It's in the store an allows me to start installing, but it either fails after completing installation, or after restoring user data. I then get an error message with the error code 0x8103010F. I have tried soft resetting several times, but it will not install the app in full. Every other app seems fine, it's just the twitter app that has the issue.

Plus they've got all the parts available already, just need a little engineering to fit the trackpad and everything else. C'mon RIM. We know you can do it. I'm sure you'd sell millions of them.

I need this for work and so I will be forking some dough out of my pocket to get one of the two following phones: Bold 9000 (I'll pay 100$ Canadian, not Us) Curve 8530 (pay 24.99$ Canadian). I am very used to the Iphone and HTC Touch Pro 2 (not trying to start a flaming/argument/anything else , its just what i'm used to). I am very used to browsing with the other phones and I have heard that BB phones are not up to par, so my expectations will be low. Out of the two phones however, does one perform better than the other (Curve 8530 vs Bold 9000)? Out of the two phones, which one do you recommend overall. I have read that the Bold 9000 even though it is older, it still outperforms the 8530...

The device still works, but two thirds of the LCD is now white and there's what looks like an inkblot on the left side of the screen. I'd like to try to fix it, but don't really want to shell out a lot of $ to do so --- I'm a month away from upgrading.Does anyone have any suggestions, or perhaps a dead BlackBerry with a working screen that you're willing to part with? A DIY repair -- this is out of warranty anyway -- looks straightforward, but I'm not sure I want to spend the $100 or so for a new OEM part to replace the LCD screen.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a bold 9000 and I can not connect to the internet. Carrier is AT&T and I live in the North East (NYC area). Worked fine up until yesterday (Jan 25). Now gmail, facebook, browser - none work. I've tried the battery pull, turning on/off the network, run a diagnostic test from mobile network options. In the mobile network test i get the volling anomolies "Blackberry PIN-PIN: No" and it says can't connect to my email (gmail).
View 5 Replies View RelatedA few days ago I pulled my phone out of the holster and It was really hot and when i looked at it i realized it was off, and wouldnt turn back on. just a red light comes on like normal upon a battery pull but after it turns off the red light comes back on again once more then stays off for good. unless i plug it in then it comes on and goes off all the time. I got it powered back up yesterday but then it did it again. Today I plugged it in and I saw a picture of a battery come up on the screen showing it as empty, i was hoping that meant it might charge up. but no such luck. My main objective is just to get the phone up long enough to back up the info on the phone.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Twitter buut it hasn't helped. What can I try next?
I woke up this morning and noticed that my BBM icon, and my Twitter icon are missing. I've tried taking out the battery, and clicking "show all" under the main menu, but neither appear. I've asked frieds to send me a BBM and I don't even receive them.

View 1 Replies View RelatedTwitter and facebook apps worked just fine on wifi. I don't have a data plan. Then Rogers gave me 2 months of free data plan. Now that the 2 months have ended, the twitter, facebook apps along with a few others only work sporadically on wifi for the last 2 weeks. They do not necessarily connect to the internet (network unavailable), even when the browser does connect. It seems the apps are having problems but the browser is doing okay. After a reboot, it works for an hour or so before losing connection. Then it can be a day and multiple reboots before it comes back.

I am a vodafone greece consumer with a full 12 monts programme for my bb.when i got the bb the bbm and email didnt work. i was only able to make my profile for bbm and for the mail it doesnt have the option for a personal email account only the enterprise.I went to the vodafone store and i asked about the bbm internet service. They opened that for me and i have BIS too. i thought that would solve my problems but nothing. Still nothing works. I register the GPRS bla bla bla many times. I receive a msg that tells me that im registered to tte wifi network but nothing again. Ofcourse i made the batt trick many times.
