View 4 RepliesMy wife just got a MBZ C250. We were able to pair her Nokia 6350 and my iphone to the cars bluetooth. I was also able to transfer the contacts from the iphone but not the Nokia's. In looking at the bluetooth compatible phones on the Mercedes Bluetooth site I noticed that there are no Nokia phones listed for this car model. For some reason her phone works well in the hands free mode in the car but she obviously would like to be able to access her contacts. My question is this, is there any way we can transfer her contacts to the cars bluetooth? If not, is there any way both phones can share my iphone address book since we have exactly the same contacts?

My question : working in this way, can cause a noticeable extra consumption of battery ?. Let us say I am making 5 to 10 annotations by day.

My grandpa's 6230I broke so I found him another one on eBay but he's not going to be able to configure it himself, so I want to transfer the configuration changes (Not sure if there are any) that he's made on his old device to his new one.I'd like to avoid a computer if possible; partly because I don't have a data cable but even if I did use Bluetooth I really don't want to have to install pc suite just to do this.

It works fine until there was a sudden error while I was transferring the musics. After that, my PC wont recognize my device anymore. So i search for the solution in the net and I found the way.
Here it is:
"In some devices, if having copied a large number of files (> 4000 files) in Media Transfer USB mode to the device, the PC connection may not succeed any more. If this happens, try deleting files with File Mgr. Application to decrease the number of files below 4000."

After that, transfer is successful. Few days ago I updated my 2730c to latest software( from RM -578 v10.45 to RM-578 v10.47) from nokia care centre thinking it could have fixed the previous bluetooth issue, but no it didn't.

My usage isn't that much, yes I do chat on whtsapp and I know it does take up some of ur battery usage but then I have to keep it for charging twice a day. View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI discovered the other day I still have messages on my old Nokia 1100 phone. At first I thought ok, just put in a sim and copy them across. But the 1100 doesn't have this option. Since this handset is locked, I can't put in a sim and forward them either. It's odd the phone has internal memory but won't let you copy/move or do anything with the messages.
I've looked online for a data cable for the 1100. Maybe if I connect it to a computer I can extract or copy them then? I want to get these messages on my new phone with all the original details (dates, numbers etc.) intact. My googling so far for a data cable only brings up other nokia cables where the seller has just added the 1100 model number, but it clearly isn't the right cable for this phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOur company has recently bought 220pcs of nokia 2710 (brand new). After using them for 3days (8 hour shifts) GPS started to fail - the GPS icon just disappears and GPS itself does not send any new data. Some of the phones recover after a full restart others don't.I have called Nokia support and according to them if the GPS icon is missing the phone is defect.We have already replaced 30 phones under warranty, but each day new ones are affected by this issue. I suspected there might be some energy saving feature (although most users have the car charger connected all the time) or other option which turns off the GPS, but again Nokia support says no. Does anybody know how to resolve this issue or are the phones just not built for 8hour GPS standby?
