I have all my music in the cloud and use Google music to play it. When I am in car mode and say play Madonna etc it tries to open the built in music app which only includes the few sample tracks obviously doesn't work. Is there a way I can make it play via Google music app instead?

Now with the S6, doing the same thing plays local "music" (ringtones) via the built in Samsung Music app. I can't find a way to change the default, and I can't disable the Music app. it's possible to make another music app the default, and if so how?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSome users have complained that the default filter of all pictures taken with their iPhone 5 camera has mysteriously changed to one or the other of the various filters available other than "none" (i.e., usual full-color) version they want. I can't find that string again, hence this new item.Â
I had the same problem, and believe I have solved it this way:Â
1. Take a picture. Â
2. Find it the usual way in Photos - Camera Roll. Presumably it's the wrong filter.Â
3. Click on Edit. Click on the intertwined-color-circles icon at the bottom to reveal all the filters.Â
4. Scroll over to None and change it to that. Save the picture.Â
5. Key thing (I think): REBOOT YOUR PHONE. (I happen to do it by pressing the on-off button at the top and the depressed home key at the bottom a the same time; do it however you wish.)Â
6. When you next shoot a photo, it should be in "None" mode (as the default).Â
I have a giant library of music files, mostly mp3s. I am trying to play them using the default music player, which I belive is the only player that can show up on the home screen. I can create my own playlist, but it looks like I have to add songs one by one to the playlist, which is a huge pain.If I use "all songs", then some of the garbage ringtones and mp3s that came with the phone also get included.

My home screen currenlty has a widget for my FB post, another widget for FB notifications, and another widget for my email and text messages. I would like to only use Handscent, but the only way I can do that now is to launch Handscent everytime. If i get a text and it pops up in my widget, it defaults to "text message" which is what came with the phone. Does anyone know a way to replace this with Handscent?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently updated my HTC One X to Android 4.1.1. Since the update, whenever i connect to a computer via USB, the phone is automatically going into USB Debugging Mode. The never used to happen before the update. Earlier it used to give me options about what I want to do when a USB is connected.I have tried disabling Debugging option from "developer options" in setting. It does not work. As soon as I connect it next time, it goes into debugging mode.
