I've accidentally deleted all photos from my camera roll on my iPhone, is there any way I can restore them? Tried a restore backup on iTunes but no luck, are they anywhere on my iMac do you think?
i deleted some photos from my Camera Roll (on iPhone 3GS) using cable connection to my PC. I then went to Photo Stream (the photos were, correctly, still in there) and put some of them in Albums in the Photos app. Some, but not all, have now re-appeared in Camera Roll - and, very unhelpfully, not in the order they were taken. I don't want these photos in Camera Roll but can vaguely accept and understand if the app HAS to copy the Photo Stream photos to Camera Roll if you put them in Albums and they are not in Camera Roll already but then why are there 2 photos (in different Albums) that this is not happening for?
I'm trying to cut down on unnecessary storage space, and for some reason there is a gigabyte and a half of photos (1,109 pictures it says) listed in the iTunes usage display, when I have exactly 4 pictures in my camera roll, no videos. I've imported all the photos I've taken to iPhoto on my macbook, but those wouldn't affect the storage on my iPhone.... right? Is there something incredibly obvious I'm missing
I moved photos to a new folder and deleted them from camera roll, now I can't find them, how can I find them? I didn't open iCloud and didn't connect to itunes.
I never set up photstream until after I put 600 pics on my camera roll. I just set up photostream today and it says that all recent pics i take from now will go into photostream? Two main questions? HOw do I see my pics in Itunes? How do I put my camera roll into photostream? I would like my pics to go to Icloud.
Recently the pictures taken using the iPhone's camera are not showing up on the camera roll. The iPhone 4 still has memory available, so I do not believe the issue to be related to too many pictures.
Anyone have a black block when they click on their camera roll? I can still view my photos if I tap one of them, but when I back out, instead of seeing thumbnails, I see just blackness. Is this a bug or what? I tried restoring twice from my backup to no avail.
My iPhone 4 is having issues with the Camera Roll. I am getting 4-8 black rectangles where photos should be. This occurs at random and will then disappear. I have 251 photos in my Camera Roll.
Ive been looking around for a jailbreak app or something that can sort the camera roll straight from the iphone and not having to go into itunes from the computer and manually do it.... why hasnt someone come up with a hack for this? anyone with info on something they have gotten to work thats a straight download from either cydia or rock and automatically works without hard labor please post. thanks.
I've got a video that's in .mov format that was accidentally deleted off the camera roll, but luckily i had copied it over to the computer before. So i am wondering how do i put it back into the camera roll section? i've tried SSHing and putting it back in, but the video just doesn't show up after putting it in the correct directory.any help would be greatly appreciated.
Iam wondering what do you lose this time if you do the new jailbreak, i am on my iphone 4 and am wondering if i will lose my camera roll if i do this jailbreak.
My iCloud is now almost full, and I don't want to buy more storage. I have over 1000 pic on my camera roll, and would like to archive them off somewhere, and hopefully reduce my iCloud storage.I am syncing to a Vista PC, and download my pics to Picasa.
Went out to the zoo today with my daughter and shot some great video on my iPhone 4, when I got home and synced my phone, iPhoto imported all the pictures and videos (which is fine), however I chose to delete everything off the camera roll. I decided to import all the videos to iTunes and sync them to both my iPhone and iPad, but now I realize that I can't edit, select or send these clips to my friends and relatives since they are not in the camera roll.
So I guess my questions are:
1. Is there a way to edit movies shot on the iPhone not in the camera roll (as per title)?
2. If not, is there a way to put the movies back on the roll (without jailbreaking)?
BTW, I did a search on this and found nothing helpful.
I just installed Windows 7 on my computer and forgot to back up my pictures. All the pictures in my Camera Roll are fine but I had another folder from my last restore. How can I take these pictures off my phone then re sync them?
I updated to 4.0 on my 3GS but my camera roll is empty, my pictures synced cause when i go to settings and pics, it shows 200+ pics but i can't access them...Anyone else have this same problem?
I encountered a weird issue. I'd looked at a couple of photos in my camera roll, then set the phone (iPhone 4) down and went back to working. The phone went to sleep, and when I woke it up again, I got the screen saying that the photo libraries were being rebuilt (or something along those lines...I saw it before when I added a bunch of photos at once), and when the new libraries were displayed, my camera roll was all jumbled up. It grabbed all of the most recent (well, from ca. 3 weeks ago onward) photos and shoved them back toward the top of the library with photos from a year ago. It doesn't seem to have randomly jumbled everything up; it's just this chunk that got moved way back in the timeline. New photos still show up at the bottom of the list, but when you have as many photos as I do on this thing, to not have them chronological anymore is a PITA, to say the least.
I'm restoring now, though I doubt it will do any good as I'd synced after noticing the problem.
Is there any way of transferring 720p vids from the camera roll to pc wirelessly without compressing them? Airsharing compresses them poorly. Not sure about FTP on the go. Anyone know of a way of doing it? I dont mind paying a few quid
In the Photos app. Version 4.0.1.Sometimes graphics are missing, like the trash can bar. The pictures won´t turn at all when you turn the phone. (Yes portrait lock is off).Actually 4.0.1 is probably the buggiest version I´ve ever seen on the iPhone and I´ve gone through all the updates since my first 3G iPhone.
I just picked up my iPhone 4 and I'm attempting to move my Camera Roll over from my old 3GS (running Jailbroken iOS 4.0.1). I've been looking through the files with DiskAid, but I'm not 100% what files are required to get the Camera Roll to transfer over. Can anyone assist me?
Every time I open up my camera roll it always starts from the last picture that I have taken. Is there a way to make it start from the beginning upon opening
