Xperia Z2 :: Using Pin Code To Unlock Phone - Not Worked
Oct 4, 2014
I often use a pin code to unlock my phone, but I also often don't. Last time I tried to disable any pin code necessary I was met with what you see in the screen shot.
I have an at&t LG G3 set that has been unlocked as I have moved back to Malaysia. I would like to flash the phone to remove network bloatware and some other bugs.
However am concerned that during the process the phone might revert back to the previous settings (for at&t). I do not have the unlock code (I didn't make note of it after using it previously).
I got an unlock code for my 1020 from ATT to use with local sim card on my holiday, but can you unlock the phone without putting in a different sim and waiting for the popup about entering the code? I want to make sure it works as it would suck finding an issue with the unlocking once I am abroad.
I have the 8 digit network unlock code for my Atrix2, but when new carrier sim card is inserted it doesn't say sim not provisioned, and doesn't provide text box to enter code.Instead it gives me phone and text service but not mms enternet
When ever I try to unlock (dragging lock button from left to right) , I am unable to unlock in one go. It is taking multiple attemts to unlock my phone.I also observed that when I get to call, to cancel dragging the icon from right to left this is required multiple attempts.i.e many time dragging icon from right to left.
I don't know whether it is software problem or hardware. I have tried the repair operation also. my xperia neo is uptodate and running 2.3.4 os.I also tried to un install apps but I couldn't find any difference. Also once I unlock, those 5 screens, I can scroll inbetween and can touch home button. But when I long press on the screen to add widget/folder I am unable to do it as soon as I unlock phone. It is taking some time to respond.
As I purchased this phone in UK and using it in India, I am not sure how much service I can get in india from SE.I have bill for the mobile too.in other posts somebody told me to remove yahoo and i did the same but didn't find any difference.in short the touch scence is not responsive during unlock and for a while once get the home screen. I also installed andvance task killer app and killing apps frequently that also not making any help.
I've recently moved from Orange to O2 and my iPhone 3GS doesn't recognise the new O2 SIM card. Orange told me that they would send me an unlock code from Apple a month ago. Talked to Orange today and they say I need to get it from O2 but O2 say that's not the case.
I've got an Xperia X10i running Android 2.1 update1, Baseband Version 2.0.49,Build number 2.0.2.A.0.24, Kernel Version 2.6.29 SEMCUser@SEMCHost#1 which since I got it, the Android Market has never worked.I am able to go through the list of apps but when I choose an app to download it freezes at the "Starting Download" phase, when I try to cancel the download, I get the message "the application market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again".
I already combed through several forums and tried things like clearing the cache etc but the problem still persists. Recently I read from an official android forum that the connection to Android Market is established via Google talk, I noticed that I did not have google talk, I installed it and it functions okay but the problem still persist. How I can resolve the problem...its no point carrying and Android phone without android market.
I have Android 4.04 on may Xperia Ray. Skype worked well until recently (with WLAN). Then it took more and more time to connect and now it does not succeed at all. Should I delete and reinstall it? Who has similar experience?
I suddenly got a huge problem with my X8 - the battery won't charge at all. A week ago everything worked as it should, battery time was good and it hadn't been significatly shorter since I bought the phone. A few days ago it wouldn't charge when I connected it to my laptop, neither did it charge when I connected it to the wall jack. However, the battery charge symbol on the screen went on. Switching the phone of didn't make any difference (though the flash symbol for battery charging went on). Of course it died completely pretty soon, and I can't get it chargen enough to start it.
I'm not even sure that this is a hardware problem (since the operating system says that the battery was recharging), and I want to avoid buying a new battery unless i'm sure that that's the problem, after all they're pretty expensive and I plan to buy one of the newer SE phones in a couple om months anyway, though I can't do it right away. I guess I could stick to some old cell phone until then, but i really would like to get a copy of some of the stuff on the internal memory (phone book, messages, bookmarks, some software preferences etc).
my touch screen cracked after I droppet my Xperia Mini Pro on the pavement. I can still see everything on the screen, but when I try to unlock the phone by sliding the touch screen, there's no reply. The keyboard however works fine, so what I'm wondering is if there's any way for me to use the keyboard to unlock my phone?
I bought my Xperia X10 Mini Pro since December 2010 and my MMS has never worked, when ever I try to send a picture message it gives me a message marked queued for sending, but its not sending. How can I get this thing to work?
How do I enter a phone unlocking code into my Xperia X8 I got the unlocking code from my service provider they told me to press the left arrow key then ** then left arrow key I have no idea where to find a left arrow key, the 2 arrow keys that I can see on my phone either deletes one of the stars or returnes to the home page from the keypad
I was sending an sms to a short code just now (the 5-digit codes used by bank and etc). The device prompted me that the sms may incur additional charges and asked me whether I allow that. I accidentally touched "never allow" and "don't ask me again" (these two came after another in a row), but I wanted to send the messages. I tried to search settings and messaging settings but I cannot find anything that let me allow sending the messages to short codes again. When I Googled my problems, the results I found are mainly on Samsung orz. Samsung has an application manager to adjust the setting, but I can't find it on sony.
So I have a Samsung S6 Galaxy through Verizon. I also use the Message+ stock app that Verizon has placed on the phone.
My lock screen is disabled through a 3rd party app (No Lock), so when I previously received a text message, my screen would awaken, and a preview of said text message would show up in the status bar.
Now i had to reset my phone, and upon resetting, my phone will still show the blinking LED light, and make the sound associated with receiving a text message. However the screen no longer lights up, so now if i want to read the test message int the status bar, I have to hit the power button to light up my phone. Very annoying.
I have went through the settings where there used to be a checkbox that said "show preview in status bar and lock screen", but that selection no longer seems to be there. I will also say that if my screen is already awake (either if i'm currently using the phone, or the screen hasn't turned off yet), the preview of the text message DOES show up in the status bar.
I will use another app that just awakes my phone when a notification is received...but i don't want something that has pop-ups, widgets, and the like. I really just want my phone to awaken as it did prior due to the reset, without (seeing at least) any add-on's, etc.
I have a Nokia Lumia 1020 that is rejecting the code when I enter it in the pin code box but the mayor problem is that the attempts are not wasting. It does go lower than the 9th attempt. I already tried rebooting it and factory resetting it and the phone it goes back to the 10th attempts and again it doesn't go any lower the the 9th attempt.
I bought a Blackberry Torch a few weeks ago, my carrier is AT&T. I got this phone because I needed a phone that would work in Germany, the United States, and South Korea; I am studying abroad this year and need a phone. My intention was to buy new SIM cards in each country, as this would be cheaper than roaming and more practical than buying disposable phones. AT&T agreed to give me instructions to unlock my phone and an unlock code.Today, I called AT&T, who plugged my IMEI number into their database. However, they could not acquire my unlock code and acknowledged that another person with a Blackberry Torch had the same problem a few hours ago. They reassured me that the Blackberry Torch is unlockable, but had no idea how to help me further. When I tried to call Blackberry, they asked me for a carrier code, which I didn't have and AT&T knew nothing about.
My friend gave me an iphone 3gs but I am with a different network provider. Will apple give me an unlock code directly as I did not purchase the iphone from my network provider?
