I have recently changed to the sony ericsson Vivaz phone and at first it was working very well, i'm now into my 3rd week of having the phone and it has stopped allowing me to make outgoing calls completely. Can anyone help me with this one? I have done a systems update on my PC but this has not helped.
View 1 RepliesI've been using my Vivaz Pro on O2 for about 2 months now and I've been have an intermittent problem. The phone will suddenly not allow me to make calls, when I try to make a call it says "Emergency Calls Only" even though I have a good to full signal AND I can still receive calls and send and receive text messages. Also when this problem happens the power button no longer responds, so I am unable to lock or turn the phone off so I have to do a battery pull. Even after removing the battery and SIM and replacing it all the problem is still there. Then it will just work again at various times. This is very frustrating. I have tried contacting O2 but I just get pre- typed messages back which are NO HELP at all, they are obviously not understanding my problem and think it's a network issue or Im somewhere where I cannot get a signal.I was also disgusted that Sony Ericsson used the Nokia OS on their phone, I vowed to never buy a Nokia again after having 4 Nokias and having problems with them all. I go back to trusty Sony Ericsson only to find its got Nokia software Low and behold I'm having problems.

So, if i want to make a call then a pincode must be entered and then the call can be made and if the code is wrng then the call cant be made. I tried doing the Menu>settings>managecalls>restrict calls> all outgoing. But when i enter any pincode i get an error saying "all outgoing command error". I currently hve a w595 and if it worked would this work, if this sim was put in any other phone, I mean would it ask for a pincode again or would I have to set tht up separetly on that phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedHad the W995 for about a month now and after a week it started playing up. At first it occasionally wouldn't let me make calls and would just come out with 3 beeps and return to the contact list. Then it started to become more frequent until it started to not let me answer any calls. when I press accept call or slide open the phone it just hangs up on the person instead. This is actually starting to make a lot of people angry at me now as they think I am just repeatedly hanging up on them, and I have to spend a good chunk of my day explaining whats going on through text (which works fine). I haven't successfully talked to anyone with my phone for days now, and I know its not a signal issue as I have had full many of the times I have received or made calls.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.1 with AT&T: When I place an outgoing call, there is no ringing tone on my end. I can hear the person when they answer, and they can hear me. This is happening with all numbers, not just specific ones (both cell and land lines). I've tried switching to speaker phone, which makes no difference. I've checked my bluetooth setting, and am not connected to another source. I'm not in airplane mode, or Do Not Disturb. My operating system is up to date.

My Sony Vivaz was working properly and then suddendly applications stopped working. Then I noticed the applications I had installed in the memory card are not longer displayed on the screen, and when I try to take a photo it says there is no memory card and that they will be stored in the phone's memory. Additionally, when I try to reinstall the applications I always get the message File error. What is happening to my phone? How can I fix all these problems?

View 2 Replies View RelatedHad my vivaz a month or so now supplied by 3, it came with some demos already installed on the phone, i went to try tetris but instead of offering to let me play it i had to buy it. Anyway i bought the game from my phone and when i go to play, the bottom half of the screen is filled with a cursor interface (with up down left right buttons then A B C D along the bottom) and the top half is tetris.... when i start the game i get asked if i want sound enabled but cant see the yes or no options beacuse of the interface blocking bottom half of phone (no matter what, all i can do is continue with the sound on which is annoying!) then i get a option to play game, i press random buttons and then the game starts.... i cant move the blocks left or right and i cant see where they are landing. Can you remove the cursor interface on the vivaz? Dont want to buy anymore games unless i get this same problem.

When I put my memory card in which I used in my old vivaz, it still says there is no music, photos or videos. Although when I have put my memory card in different phones to check it hasn't been wiped or something, my stuff comes up. Just not when my memory card is in this new phone. When it's downloaded it looks like half the phone screen are the "web" pages and the lower half is a "navigation pad" with a central "select" button. When I go to place a bet via this app, the "select" button is supposed to make the keypad pop up so that amounts can be entered but nothing happens. I've been on to Paddy Power and they say they have tested the app and all is working fine and that it MUST be a Sony Ericsson problem. now I don't really see how this can be
