Sony Ericsson :: K800i - Apps Or Games - Operation Failed
When i click on my apps or games menu it says operation failed. i was looking through the forums and found a solution except that solution was for when you could actually access the folder and only when you select a specific app/game it said operation failed. i cant access the folder at all. is there anyway at all to fix this problem for free without having to resort to that wotanserver thing? im not being cheap, i just think its rubbish to be charged anything at all to fix a problem like this when it is the manufacturers fault for selling faulty phones which all have a common problem which isn't caused by a users ill-treatment. and another question, why cant i seem to find software to flash it myself without that wotan thing? i mean, surely its just software that you run. someone must have cracked it?

Sony Ericsson :: K850i - Application Access / Operation Failed
Just recently got a K850i. Instantly had the issue where I could not access any applications on the phone getting the "operation failed" error message. So I upgraded the firmware with KK Client to R1EA037. That sorted the problem. However, after a week the phone starts turning off randomly, usually when I have it in my pocket. Also, is the phone supposed to turn off when opening the battery cover? And finally, I've noticed the hash key LED is really delayed when turning on and off. Is this supposed to happen? Sorry about the huge amount of questions.

Sony Ericsson :: K850i - Open Game Or Application File / Operation Failed
Has anyone found a solution for the 'operation failed' message whenever you try to open a game or application file on the K850i. Phone only 6 week old but T-Mobile want to send it away for 28 days which I would like to avoid if I can but I have searched all the posts on here about this and plenty of people have had the problem but no-one seems to have come up with an answer. Have tried SEUS but it wont recognize the phone as it is and haven't a clue were to start with Davinci or whether it will work anyway. Master and Settings reset doesn't fix it either.

Sony Ericsson :: K850i / Operation Failed
I am having a problem with my K850i. basically a while back now, one day I tried to install another application/game and got the error message 'Operation Failed' I tried another installing another app and got the same thing, so I thought maybe I'd reached the limit - I have almost 50 applications - so tried to delete one and then when I clicked yes the famous error message came up again. After a Master reset this problem still persists. I have the first version of the firmware on Voda and am going to get round debranding to the latest firmware one day. But just now is there anyway I can fix this? Any suggestions welcome I really want to play another game!!! Also the applications still work fine when I open them, it's just deleting them and installing new ones where I have the problem.

Sony Ericsson :: Updated Firmware: Operation Failed When Running Java
java libraries became corrupted on my phone (I was updating files, it froze and I unplugged) and I was having problems running any java apps. and my email was no longer working.Anyways, I thought that I may as well update the firmware on the phone to fix those issues. I updated to R6BC002 (America 2) and used the custom filepack found on XS++. All was ok but when I go to download opera mini or google maps, I get certificate issues and the "Operation Failed" message. No good.I went to firmware R1GB001 so that I could then update via SEUS but when I try, it says an update isn't available.What would you all recommend? I could try wotan but at this point, I would be happy with a working version of my old firmware (it was america 1). are the certificates and everything else on different custpacks? where can i find cust packs?

Sony Ericsson :: Deleting Double Application And Games
Every one maybe face this problem. For me I face it many time. Why it happened? I don't know. But after I make update after the first time it happened with me. I think it must another way to solve that without make a new software because it remove every thing in my phone. But I have to solve this problem and anyone face the same problem do as this steps: 1. Try to replace any application that double. It maybe will say operator failed. Don't worry just after u did that. Do the next step. 2. Turn the phone off then turn it on again. 3. Open file manager go to application and try to delete any doubled application. It will maybe show you nothing after deleted. But don't worry. Get out from application folder then open it again. You will find unknown application with the same name of the deleted application that you did before. Just delete it then its gone. 4. Repeat that with every double application or games. If it say failed. Then restart your phone then try and it will be deleted.

Nokia :: PC Suite Install Error - Installation Operation Failed
OS: Windows XP Professional (SP3) Suite: 7.1.18 (and 6.6) I tried installing Nokia PC Suite 7.1.18 on my computer, and I keep on getting this error: Installation Operation failed: The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible. Free up space on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the Temp folder. I tried deleting everything in the Temp folder and I also tried using an older version of PC Suite (version 6.6). I got a different error with that version: 1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime. I'm guessing that something relating to the Temp folder in my system is getting messed up...

Sony Ericsson :: K800i Games And Apps Error
I have a K800i with the James bond theme, in silver on O2 UK. I cannot get into my games and apps anymore, as it comes up saying it had failed. I've heard this is to do with the firmware. And it needs upgrading. I don't have the money to pay to get it upgraded and would like to know how to do it myself. (A) What programs will I need? (B) What is the file name of the firmware I will need to search for, for it? (C) Is there a guide step by step on doing this? I'm a novice at this sort of thing so baby steps would be great! Can anyone help me please? The automatic update doesn't work!
