Sony Ericsson :: K750i - Phone Updated And Master Reset
I have problem with my K750i. After I edit my menu, icons, layout, camera driver. No Hissing, and delete some protected files like images and sounds, all things ok. After few days I do Master Reset and look at my phone how its to do Update Service and phone work ok but if I do master reset the problem coming again.

Sony Ericsson :: K810 - Attempted Master Reset / Phone Stuck On Please Wait Screen
I've been having some problems with my k810 and was informed to attempted a master reset as a solution. This then produced a "please wait" screen. I came back 3 hours later and it was still there. I powered it down and removed the battery. After reinsertion and powered it back on and the please wait screen reappeared. Hopeful that the process would resume or restart. I left it alone for another 3-5 hours. When I returned the screen was still there. I don't think that the reset has been completed as this morning my alarm went off but after I disabled the alarm it reverted to that darn screen.

I've been having some difficulty in sending sms messages lately. most of the time i get the messages sending/operation failed. at first i tried to turn it off and take out the battery. it worked the first few times but now nothing i did worked. then i tried using the master reset which supposedly takes only a few minutes but for some reason it's taken a really long time.

My girlfriend has one of the above, having a few problems with it (randomly freezing/turning off/won't startup when turned on etc.). She's never done any updates of the software at all, so I took the opportunity to backup all her contacts etc. and then master reset, to which I was then going to install the latest updates. That, was at least the plan. The reality is 2 hours into the 'master reset' we're still stuck on the 'please wait' phase and the phone is doing nothing, literally nothing. It's had the battery off the back, and it will restart back to exactly the same place of 'please wait' then do nothing.

Sony Ericsson :: K800i - Display Corrupt / Unable To Master Reset
I'm having a crazy problem with my K800i (phone is about 3 yrs old). Two days ago I just restarted my phone and my display went corrupt. I can see only a select and info on boot up. If I select it seems like it goes to phone mode, but the display shows only two options 'Menu' and 'Call'. I can't see anything if I select on any of these. Here is what I've tried so far 1. Connected to PC Suite and backed up all data. No problems here. 2. Checked to see if repair phone would help, but it failed with no errors. 3. Downloaded Update Service and it ended saying that the phone has the latest version of the software (no updates in 3 yrs of the phone. Wondering how it said the software is the latest? 4. Want to try to Master Reset, but cannot see the menu Is there a way to do the master reset through PC Suite or any other way. I'd like to avoid the service center trip, they are supposedly stupid in this part of the world!

I just broke my K750i joystick so everything I can do is use the shortcut keys. The problem is, since I've updated the firm of k750i to w800i and now I have the walkman utility, I need my joystick to navigate there! I erased all the songs and uploaded new ones but I need to choose "Artists" or "Tracks" to update the songlist. So: is there a way to control my phone from the PC using the USB cable (or something...)?

My trusty old k750i is a very good camera as well but it has its flaws.I'm not complaining about the resolution or general pictire quality, it is sufficient for most of my cam shots. The real problem for the cam is action shots. Shutter lag is horrible. Of course I've been spoiled lately by a fine SLR cam with close to no shutter lag at all but before that I've been shooting quite a lot with simpler point'n shoots that were much much better in this department than the sluggish k750i.I would also very much appreciate good performance in low-light situations, this is always a big problem for simple cams like phonecams of course.As far as I love the old k750i, I'd like to find a worthy replacement now. It should be just as snappy in the user interface as the k750i, just as reliable in basic functions, and have a very good camera like what I have now but FAR faster.Suggestions are much appreciated. I might add that I have lots of computers around so I don't really need a "smartphone"-type phone. Just a very good cameraphone.

Sony Ericsson :: K750i - Giving Phone Some Different Color / Custom Painting
So I've decided to do something with my phone, give it some different color. I tried to do with something conservative, but silver and grey is conservative and elegant enough to be the original color. Didn't wanna mess up the "image" of the phone just make it a little more interesting. Well its still in the process, which means that I have to wait until the paint completely cures , before I make it a little shinier, but here is a little taste, see how you like it. The side buttons are painted as well, basically everything except the back panel cause the little camera slider is not really meant to be taken apart. By the way the colors are Tamiya "pearl white" and Tamiya "racing blue".

I have 1 EMPTY BOARD k750i which is totally dead boot. When the 1st time i try to test the boot, SEMC Tool still can detect the phone, once the phone has detected, i unplug the cable because just want to test the boot, see whether the phone can be revive or not. Now my problem is, SEMC Tool totally cannot detect the phone, when i select the flash file and click flash, software wont detect it and show 'Unknown Phone. Try Recover Phone 1st. Then i try on "Recover Phone", SEMC Tools show "Phone Recover Done, now can flash the phone,but result also same, unable to start the flashing process. I try on KZF_v1.8b with crack UFS_HWK, software will detect the boot, but only show the M CU ID, without the CID number. KZF also prompt to recover phone 1st, but cant be done, always result failed with recover function. Is it any solution to revive this kind of phone ? Or maybe need put some power voltage the flash the phone ? I am using UFSx, k750i cable with dummy battery attach to the cable.I also try with SEMC Tool Empty Board function, also cannot flash the phone, i really have no idea how to repair this phone.

When I delete a SMS message my SE K750i will reuse that filename. Is there a way to prevent that. E.g. Sony Ericsson :: K750i - Using PC Internet (ADSL Broadband Connection) With Phone?
So what I want to do is use my ADSL Broadband connection on my phone. How do I want to do this? My laptop is connected to my modem via a LAN cable. My phone is connected to my laptop via a DCU-60 cable or bluetooth. So can I use a COM port or Bluetooth PAN or something so that my phone uses my ADSL connection? I am almost sure this is possible, I read it somewhere a very long time ago, I think it was done with a K750i.
