Sony Ericsson :: How To Reflash Firmware?
Could someone please post the link to how to reflash your firmware? The current rogers stuff slows down the phone and I would like to put a generic one on there?

Sony Ericsson :: W810i Bricked After Trying To Reflash?
I bought my Cingular Sony Ericsson W810i last Sunday, as soon as I got home I debranded it with the DaVinci team software. FOr a couple of days I had the problem with the signal dropping and increasing (some dropped calls as a result). I saw on the internet that this was due to a corrupted GDFC and the phone needed to be reflashed.but I got a message saying: "failed sending datachunk" it stayed like that for 10 minutes, so I decided to stop the process. I tried again and the same thing happened, but up to that point the computer still recognized it. I unplugged everything and tried to turn my phone on to no avail. It simply does NOT turn on at all, after having disconnected from the computer that is.Does anyone know if this means that I've bricked my phone? What can I do now that it isn't even able to connect to the computer? Update 1: I reset my computer just in case, and now it does seem to recognize the phone. Will try to reflash once more

Sony Ericsson :: Sony Spiro Unstable Firmware
I bought a new sony spiro this weekend and so far has been a pain in the back. It resets when I try to access the camera, sometines it stops playing music at random times, or it simply stops reading my micro sd. Today I installed the newest firmware, but still the same problem continues.

I am just a normal teenager using a satio... I just asking your site, when will you release the new update for Satio? I heard from other forums saying the R2AK006 is the last firmware by Sony Ericsson... That was great in the first time but still is just a minor update... Please do a bigger update, and update the Youtube Application to v2.44 and Google to v2.10 and try to get a proper Facebook Application, the java facebook app always lack...I do not want to sell my satio, that's why im asking you when will you release the latest update? also the Homescreen is quite boring, hope you can bring the vivaz homescreen...

I made another one of these tutorial's, but it is old, outdated, and confusing.So mods please could you lock my other thread!Download your .fbn file from here and download read3150.exe from here Copy Read3150 to the root of your C: drive, and rename it , extract.exe. Then get your .fbn file, and rename it something, I will rename it firmware for this, example.fbn! Now hold the WinKey and hold the R button, you will get a popup, asking you to run an app, just type in "cmd" and click ok, you will get a black screen, type CD then a backslash, no spaces esato has a problem with typing backslashes. Then click enter Type extract.exe then a space then example.fbn, and now wait for it too work! It will create a new folder called example.fbn.raw.out with all the extracted firmware in, this folder will be in the root of your C: drive! I have sucessfully flashed my w810i with R4DB005 generic HN main and R4DB005_FS_AMERICA_2. I would like to use W810_R4DB005_FS_AMERICA_1 but it is difficult to find. Even more difficult is finding the CDA 102555/15 America_1 custom pack. It is relatively easy to find W810_R4ED001_FS_AMERICA_1. What are the differences? Any suggegtions besides paying for them? If someone has the FS or 10255/15 Cust Pack.

I recently flashed my k800i firmware to R1ED001, and its okay i dont have any major complaints except the red and green phone buttons have nothing to do with calling anyone, and when the screen turns off after a while you cant reactivate the phone by pressing on the joy stick. it only turns on when you press any other button. My question, is there any other firmware for this phone that is a little different, or better, without having to sacrifice any features. Ever get this problem where you take a picture, then delete it, then take another picture, and keep it. later when you go to look at the picture, its some how meshed into the photo that you deleted earlier, and looks deformed (but the thumbnail shows its fine. oh and i just remembered, sometimes when your looking at pics, it wont load the picture all the way, you know how it takes some time and it clarifies the pic, well sometimes it doesnt.

Ive just recently got my new vivaz and have run the latest update. Can anyone tell me what the changes are in this new update? Id also like to know whether it is possible that a flash can be programmed into the vivaz instead of the light being constantly on. This is the only annoying aspect of the camera.

When i bought my phone second-hand it had the wrong firmware on it. The previous owner flashed it back to R1CA037 in order to install HelloOX2 (which is a hack, I'm aware of it). Unfortunatly, the phone is now in english which it wasn't in its original state. Now I'm asking you if it is possible to somehow restore the original, swedish patch. I'm running with the recent update, R2AK006.

I have posted this in the k850 firmware thread but I fear it's been swamped with all the activity in it today!I have a 02 UK k850 which is running on the 037 firmware which I'd like to upgrade over the air as I only have Mac OS X - but everytime I try to select the option to search for updates, it tells me I have the latest software when I obviously don't.Anyone know how to work this, or does o2 perhaps disable the service?Any help appreciated.
