Samsung :: Gmail Prompts 15 Times To Allow Https Connection
I downloaded GMail to my Blackjack and it runs through Java, but whenever I go to log in it prompts me like 15 times to Allow Use for HTTPS Connection, and then says I need a data connection to use this program. I of course have a data plan.

BB Bold 9700 :: Data Connection Lost Many Times
Very often I lose my blacjberry connection (means that the blackberry symbol near 3G is missing) It occurs often when I use google maps, and now when I use bb app world 2.0 ..Seems like when the data amount is too high, connection is lost. I only can get it back by disabling 3G signal and enabling it again .. I don't know why it does it, I had no problem with my bold 9000, but since I changed to 9700 I also changed my phone operator..Or maybe It's due to my faceplate change and I screwed myself not moving certain parts to the new faceplate..

BB Curve 83xx :: How To Configure JmIRC - Connection Always Aborts And Times Out
I am using Verizon as my carrier. My phone is a Blackberry Curve 8330. have downloaded and installed jmIRC 0.95 and it seems to be installed properly and working much like mIRC does on a PC. However, when I try to connect, regardless of the server I choose, it always aborts and times out. The exact message jmIRC gives me every time is:Error trying to connect to IRC server, aborting... Exception: Timed out Someone told me that Verizon blocks all IRC ports... I called Verizon several times and they said there is nothing to unblock. Someone else said I had to adjust my TCP settings, but there is no option for TCP in the Curve. Can anyone please help me get jmIRC working? Or if it is not compatible with my Curve 8330, is there an IRC program that is? This is a major part of what I do on the internet and I'd be really happy to be able to use it...

IPhone :: Gmail Connection Giving Error Messages?
I've had my 3GS since the phone came out, and I've been having issues with my gmail since then. I get 3 different error messages. The most common one is user name or password is incorrect, the second most common is unable to connect to imap.google.com, the third i've only seen maybe 2 or 3 times and I didnt catch what it said. I called apple support a few months ago and went through the whole resetting, deleting the account and all that fun stuff. Nothing has worked so far and it seems to be happening more often. I am still able to send emails and photos while the error is occurring it just wont update and tell me that I have new emails. It occurred to me today that maybe the issues is because of some of the old settings. I had an older iPhone before I got my 3GS and I used the backup of that phone when I set up the new one. So I'm wondering if maybe the issue is coming from the old settings and what can I do to fix the issue?

I can log in using the same UID/PW on the gmail Java application.

Just upgraded two iPhone 3GS's to iOS 4 and the Exchange synced accounts for Gmail quit working. I get an error "Connection to the server failed."These are accounts that have been working forever under iPhone OS 3.x. I'm also seeing other people reporting the same problem via Twitter.I can work around the problem by using the Gmail connection but I can't sync contacts with that one.

Anyone know how to add a self-signed https certificate for the iPhone? I use a self-signed cert for a webUI for uTorrent via stunnel. In iOS 3.0 it wasn't much a problem; it would kick up a warning but would let you continue. In iOS 4.0 it won't let me continue without adding the cert. apparently. I get a prompt saying that the "certificate for this server is invalid." I've tried going to the webUI url in Safari on my mac, viewing the cert. when prompted, and choosing to add it to my keychain and then syncing, but I still get the same prompt with no way to continue or add the cert. I've also tried emailing my self the .cer file and adding it on my iPhone, but it still does not work.Edit: I've found the profile on my iPhone for the cert. I added, but shows it as "Untrusted".

BB Curve 8900 :: Gmail / Browser Sends Connection Error Everytime
So I just got a BB and I've set up my phone to be on wifi only (i cant afford a data plan). Im using my browser and it works great except when Im accessing gmail. It keeps on saying connection error. Is Tmobile not letting me access gmail or am I doing something wrong? Oh and can someone give me hint as to how to delete a downloaded application? I dl the Facebook app but i cant install it, again no data plan. So I click the blackberry button but there isnt an option for me to delete it. Its just sitting in my downloads folder.

I had pdanet which works wonderful but the trial has ended and now I only have access to http websites. My stupid college uses https so I cant get onto it. If i delete and reinstall it, will it still limit me? If so, what is the easiest, best running alternative to pdanet that allows access to https.

my company changed their web email, it used to be http://owa.XXX.XX.XX/exchange which used to work fine for me, as I used to set up my email for blackberry using it. on my home computer, in order to access it using Microsoft outlook or any other Email software, I have to be logged in VPN before using the software to check my emails, thus the POP3 and SMTP will only work if VPN is connected. now they changed the web email to : https://owa.XXX.XX.XX/owa which if you notice, starts with https, my problem is, blackberry is not accepting it. VPN I have a profile on my computer i am not sure how i can import it, and I am travelling tomorrow and the Staff Support in our company is closed for the weekend, anyone have a solution for this will be really really helping me a lot, Thanks a lot for your support in advance.

We have the new Stroms in house and users are complaing that the can't get to HTTPS logon screens. They were able to get to the site on their 8830's Errors; - The server returned the following error: "Access denied: Insecure SSL Request" - Unable to connect using the current security settings. Please contact your service provider - You MDS has been configured to deny SSL request to servers that have certificates which are untrusted or expired. I attempted to resolve this by doing the following; - Options / Security Options / TLS - Changed 'Allow HTTPS Redirections' = YES (didn't work) - changed from 'Proxy' to 'Handheld' (didn't work but I get a different error message) **The selected server returned an error when attempthing to fulfill you request.

Motorola :: Q9H Corporate Email Set Up / Phone Work With HTTPs?
I have had my Q for a couple of months now and have had my corporate email set up through my active sync. The emails and sync happened over the air and worked well. I believe this is also called MS Direct Push. Last week our comapny switched to a HTTPs server link and now I get errors trying to sync to it. I have set it up to use a secure Socket Layer and then it told me the certificate was incorrect. My IS guys installed a new certificate for the server and it still gives me an error code of 0x85010014. Which I am told is a temporary error and try again later. It has now been a week with no email and I continue to receive the error code. It just tells me there was an error syncing. I have uninstalled the active sync link on my phone and reinstalled my email account but I still get the error. When I went to the AT&T help thing it gave me active sync email or something which tells you to set it up with HTTPS but I don't have that ability with this phone. Using the info for MS Direct Push tells me to set it up exactly as I have. I also can connect to the internet without any troubles. I have server address, SSL (Yes/No), User name, password, & domain. Then what do I want to sync. Under the advanced options it is set to internet but can't be set to anything else. Does this phone work with HTTPs mail or not? If so how do I fix it? Please help!

Motorola :: RAZR Prompts For Password
I just bought a new Motorola RAZR off eBay. When I place my SIM card in, it prompts for a four digit unlock code. I've tried all the "logical" sequences (1234. etc.), my unlock code for the old phone, and the last four digits of my phone number. Is there anyway I can unlock this myself, or do I need to take it to a store, and if I do will that cost much?

Since upgrading to 3.1.3, I get a msg upon requesting my email accounts "The connection to the outgoing server"smtp.gmail.com"failed. Recently I had submitted my Nokia 5300 to a Nokia Care centre for resolving issues in music player. When I got it back I reinserted the 256mb microsd card (which was with me during service period). It is asking for password when i try to do any operations on microsd card when i hadnt set any password for the microsd card. I am unable to access the card data, Also it doesnt allow me to delete the password or access it from PC. What am I supposed to do?

Nokia :: Security Prompts For Internet And Email (E71)
Whenever I try to connect to an internet application like G-Mail or try to browse the internet it asks me "Allow application to use network and send or receive data". I then click "Yes", then it asks me to "Select Access Point" to which I selecr WLAN or Internet etc. And often it asks me over and over again. This is driving me crazy, how do I get rid of these promps so when I log on or start an application it automatically does what I want it to do without prompting me?
