Samsung :: E900 / Does The Screen Switch Off During Recharge?
is there anyway for the screen on an e900 to switch off when charging. i just bought one and have realized that the screen is active while charging which is really annoying as i usually leave it charging overnight and the light is annoying, i am also worried i will burn out the screen eventually by leaving it on to charge all night.

After having the Cingular 8125 for about 6 months and not utilizing it as I could, I have decided to switch phones. I'm between the E900 and the D900. I've read the D900 doesnt get good reception in the states and the slider is loose. So which one? I have the money and I just use the phone for calls and text basically not really using the internet or MP3 since I have a IPOD

I just got my new Samsung e900 its got firmware DXGA2 is there something newer? my battery is not even lasting 24 hour.. i just got this phone and already its running like utter **** anybody knows what up.. Samsung :: U600 Vs E900
I want to get my girlfriend a U600 for Xmas.She currently has an E900 which is slightly damaged.From what I've learned,U600 has a better camera and has a better touch sensitive keypad than the E900's implementation. Can anyone tell me what else is different between the two? The price doesn't matter to me actually I just want to know if U600 is truly a good replacement for her old phone.

Samsung :: E900 Cannot Use Any Of My Bluetooth Headsets
I just got the new Samsung E900 this afternoon and of all the pros and cons I still haven't figured how to use any of my two bluetooth headsets that worked just fine with my Motorola E398.To be more specific I go to Settings => Bluetooth => My devices => Search for new device... and though both are activated (and of course my bluetooth in E900 is active) when I make it search for devices it doesn't find any.As a side not I have successfully send and received files with my E398 which means my bluetooth works.Oh and there's a menu under Bluetooth settings which is called bluetooth services that has a number of menus (namely: Headset, Handsfree, serial port, dial up networking, file transfer, object push) that they seem to be inactive (or locked perhaps?) when I enter them there's only a short description of the service and the only option is to hit the back soft key.Any help is more than welcome. P.S: I am located in Greece and my operator is TIM

Samsung :: PC Suite - Not Working For D900 But Does For E900
I have both the d900 and e900. When I connect my e900 everything works correctly, however it doesn't connect the d900. However the d900 does charge because when I connect it to the pc the battery bars move so I know the socket on the phone is working. My guess is because I fiddled around putting games on my phone inputting some different numbers to get some menus (can't find where I got it from - done this ages ago, but it did work)

Does anyone know whether the "Calendar Wallpaper" feature is available in the Ultra Edition 10.9 / U600? I've found it's available on the D900 & E900, unfortunately not on the A737. Also, is the "Calendar Wallpaper" similar to Nokia's active standby screen? I want to see my calendar events w/o having to navigate, but I don't need the investment & extras with a smartphone.

I have found the java code for the SGH-E900 on a forum site. Unfortunately the install midlet menu item is password protected. Could anyone help out with this?[I have been searching for the e900 unlock code and have found it to get to the java menu type *#9998*5282#. I flashed my E900 with E900XXFJ2 firmware…. everything is great but I have noticed that when I press the #1 speed dial for voicemail that the phone dials 121. I have tried 2 sims in the phone.... O2 & Virgin & it dialled 121 both times. I went into the speed dial settings but I don’t seem to be able to change the settings for #1 which is the voicemail speed dial. Is there any way to change the number from 121?

Samsung :: E900 With Russian Firmware / Want Small Text In Menu
I've just flashed my E900 with the russian firmware.The larger text is not of my liking, I prefered the smaller text in the menu like in the older firmware.Just wondering if there is a way to minimise the size of the text in the menu while still leaving the russian firmware installed? Also, I thought the firmware also had custom ringtone for alarm. I dont seem to find it anywhere?

This is with E900 phone. what I thought was going to happen when i put in memory card is that the memory would go on top of built-in memory but that's not the case right? it sees the memory card as seperate unit so what happens when I'm shooting a video and I run out of built-in memory? would it go over to card? I dont see any option to move files within the phone, if built in memory runs low do I have to use PC studio to move the file to memory card? also, is it possible to upload video clip to mem card and play it on the phone? Since it records mp4 files I converted avi to mp4 and loaded to the phone but it says it's unsupported type/file... I guess I have to lower the resolution to match the phone screen or something?

Samsung :: E900 - E908 - Keys Disabled And Replaced By Unlocked Soft Key
Just got an E908 from a friend and this is like a one year old model, so it doesn't seem very bad. But I agree with other people here: Samsung phones seem very cool at first, but the more we use it the more we hate it. In general, every operation on the phones is like a trick that I have to remember in order to just use it... stupid samsung! It took me a quite while to figure out how to just switch back/forth between Normal mode and Silence mode. Anyway, here's my today list of what I'm looking for, hopefully someone out there has an idea: 1) When the phone is on call, all keys disabled and replaced by an "Unlocked" soft key, which is very annoying. Many times I accidentally dialed a wrong number and I just can hang up by any key. Only sliding would help. Is there any way to change/disable this? 2) Main soft keys. I've read couple posts and it sounds like IMPOSSIBLE to change the main soft keys. Any idea of new firmware, other trick for this?
