Samsung :: SPH M500 Upload Video To Phone / Resolution Not Supported
Nov 19, 2007
I use a Samsung SPH M500.I've been able to download the program MeBoy. Some of you may be familiar. Any gameboy (.gb) game works fine, and runs full speed to, but when I put a gameboy colour game (.gbc) on then I get a blank white screen. However when I press the menu button the colour frames show up underneath. Anyone have this problem or can point me in a direction to solve it? Second...when I upload a video to my phone (MPEG 4 for instance) it says the resolution not supported. Any programs where I can change the resolution to my phones display (176x220)?
I did a search here and the net but couldn't find my answer, trying to convert videos to play on eternity but cant find right resolution. 352x288 176x144. the first one is not recognized and the other is too small. i use DVD video-soft converter works good for my razr but i cant figure out what to use for the eternity. thanks in advance for any help
I've got a Samsung m500 cellphone from Bell Mobility. I have a voice memo that I'd like to email to someone, but I can't see any way to do so.The only options when at the voice memo page is to review, edit caption or erase. Is there a way to get a voice memo out of this phone, either through the USB cable, or sending to an email address, or even via bluetooth?
So, yesterday I went down to the local phone shop and picked up an M500. I couldn't believe that I was spending so much on a phone but it had everything I wanted in a very nice unit. This morning I was out working in my shop with noisy saws and sanders, so I put my phone in my back-left pocket so I would notice it when it vibrated (because there is never anything in that pocket). I got very dusty so I came in to clean my clothes and change into some new one. Grabbed my keys and wallet from my front pocket and back right pocket but totally forgot about the phone.
It probably sat in the bottom of the laundry for 5 minutes before I fished it out and ripped the battery out of the back. It had already turned off do phones have a feature to turn them off when they short or is the fact that it turned off a very bad sign? I dried it and shook it a bit, then I opened all of the little flaps and put it open into a bowl of rice, where its been sitting beside (not on) the heat vent for probably 5 hours now. I took out the miniSD card and tried it in my PC and it still has everything on it. I also tested the battery with a voltmeter and it says 3.9V (battery should be 3.7 so this sounds good). Are those good signs. What are my chances here. I'm really just trying to reassure myself while I wait. The water sticker on the battery is light blue, I don't see a sticker on the phone.
i've read several threads. i understand you can't upload directly from the iphone. i downloaded the video to my mac, and now the video is sitting there in iphoto. what do i do to get it to upload 720p to Internet?
Ive just got a new samsung E250 and i have a couple of questions: 1. what video file types are supported? the manual says what music file types are supported, but i can't find what types of video are supported. 2. is it possible to make it stop playing a GIF on your wallpaper after it has played it through once?
This is with E900 phone. what I thought was going to happen when i put in memory card is that the memory would go on top of built-in memory but that's not the case right? it sees the memory card as seperate unit so what happens when I'm shooting a video and I run out of built-in memory? would it go over to card? I dont see any option to move files within the phone, if built in memory runs low do I have to use PC studio to move the file to memory card? also, is it possible to upload video clip to mem card and play it on the phone? Since it records mp4 files I converted avi to mp4 and loaded to the phone but it says it's unsupported type/file... I guess I have to lower the resolution to match the phone screen or something?
I am using a nokia 6233 music edition phone and i have a problem with it's video recording. it hangs up after recording a video in full resolution (640*480) and i have to restart the phone and the video will not be saved. Sometimes it will work without any problem.
On my HTC mogul/titan? This whole 100x100 video resolution is absurdly small. I want something I can transfer to my PC and watch if I had to. I have a 4gb card in it.So there has to have been some kind of hack formed for this.
Does anyone know if it is possible to hack the vx9700 to play back video using the whole screen? I have been searching around here and a few other places and all I have come up with is that the playback is currently constricted to 320x240 but the phone is capable of 400x240. I would think this is easily hackable with bitpim and a hex editor but I just can't find the right file to edit.
I was hoping somone may be able to help, i recently purchased a 2nd hand Nokia 6500 slide, after owning one which went wrong, i replaced it, sorted it all out to how my old one was, added my contactc etc. Sorted the camera out, image quality to high etc, but when i tried to do this with the video, it didnt work? For some reason when i try to set the video resolution to the highest resolution 640 x 480 it simply says not allowed. Does any one know why?
I wanted to know of some way that I can transfer video files from PC to my device at native 640*360 resolution. I have transferred a few videos to my device from my PC using the in-box microUSB cable. These videos have to be stretched in the real player settings menu to enable them to play on the full screen of my device with no black bars above or below. Also the quality of these videos is somewhat lower as compared to the built-in batman video clip which has a resolution of 640*360. All my videos are in mpeg4 format, the same as the batman clip format. The problem is how can I convert my clips to resolution of 640x360?
I need help. What is the video cam resolution of the Tour on the latest beta/official 5.0?For the record, 8900 does it at 320x240, 9000 at 480x320, 9700 at 480x360.I know, I know, but it's so convenient and discrete.
I have an m500, and I bought a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter so I can hook the phone up to my tape deck adapter. The problem is it only plays out the right-hand side (this happens if I use the 3.5mm adapter on either headphones or the tape adapter)Does anyone else have this problem? I already tried replacing the 3.5mm adapter, but it still does the same thing. After some experimenting I found that if I pull the adapter out just a little bit, I can get some sound out the left side as well but not very much. And it doesn't work very well this way because the adapter won't stay in place if it's not pushed all the way in.Does anyone know where I can find a 3.5mm adapter that will fit the m500 properly? Or could there be a problem with the headphone jack on my m500?
My fiance accidentally set the calendar to show on the foreground, and now we can't remove it. When I go into Settings -> Display -> Set Foreground it says that the foreground can't be set. how to remove this from the foreground? Will it take a hard reset to do it?
I'm have a real tough time finding any game that will work with the SPH-M500. Mainly I would really like tetris, but the one i tried just gets a download failed message everytime I use an Uploader. The resolution is 176 x 220, but I can't find any games with that resolution that will work. If anyone has a package of games for the Sph-M500
I got a Samsung M500 with bell mobility. I have been thinking about setting up a way that I can use MSN messenger on my cell. I see that from bell, you can pay $5 a month to have the feature added but then you can also get apps like ebuddy to use it for free. (I already got unlimited data plan)
But, I would like to be able to be logged into MSN and be able to use my phone to text and other things while I am logged in (which ebuddy doesn't let me do?). So, my question is, is there any alternative. Like a program I can get for my phone so I don't have to pay extra for this MSN messenger feature and yet stay logged in?
