Everytime i connect my USB it is not detected by PC....... I have tried with other PC'S but in vain.......

Nokia :: N81 USB Not Detected
I own an N81 8GB model. I brought it 2 weeks back. I usually connect my Linux computer and my mobile using the accompanied USB cable. It was working fine and I was able to transfer files successfully. Recently my phone is not getting recognized by my system on plugging in the USB. I am not getting the mobile alert asking what type of transfer should the mobile activate. Previously once when I had this issue I did a couple of restarts (mobile) and luckily it worked at that time. But now it is not. I even restarted my computer but of no use. Please help me. Without the USB transfer the 8GB would be a waste.

Nokia :: N95 8gb Error No Sim Card Detected
i kept getting this error about no sim card detected on my phone,the error suddenly froze and the msg was up, it happen while i was charging my phone, had it in my pocket, mostly happens when im not using it.then i had to restart the phone and every thing work agan, is there anyway to fix that problem?

Nokia :: N73 PC Suite Phone Not Detected
Computer 1.6 Ghz Athlon. 80 Gig H/D. ATI 256 Graphics card .1Gig of ram. Windows Xp Service pack 2. PC Suite 6.81.13.0. Connectivity cable driver version 6.81.1.2. I have installed PC Siute with no prblem but on clicking get connected and on selecting : cable connection and then connecting phone as instructed the mouse pointer arrow and hour glass symbol come up but nothing more happens how ever long you wait,the phone is selected for pc suite. I have read through the descushion boards and seen posts with the same type of problems. I have tried uninstall and reinstall of the software,limited software installation ie Pc suite only,direct usb ports on the pc/usb hubs ect but i have had no success. It is a shame that I have a great phone but cannot download or transfer music/ pictures/or contacts. Help would be most welcome.

Nokia :: E72 - Phone Not Detected By Computer Anymore
I have a Nokia E72 which was working perfectly until about a month and a half back. I might have deleted some important file on my phone, but I don't remember doing so. Anyways, now, in PC Suite mode, the computer doesn't detect my cellphone and still waits for a cellphone to be connected. This is on both Mac and PC. For Nokia Map Loader (Mac and PC) and Ovi Suite and for Nokia Media Transfer (Mac). iSync still works as do the other modes (mass media transfer and the other ones). I've hard reset my phone. Uninstalled and re-installed all the application on the computer related to this. Even took it to a Nokia Care Point in Jeddah (my warranty is valid in Saudi Arabia only). They however were very incompetent and didn't do anything about it. I've even tested my friend's E72 and it works perfectly. So it's not the computer, rather something to do with the phone.

Nokia :: N82 Restarting After Every 10 - 20 Mins - No Virus Detected
I'm a N82 user & its my pleasure to be counted among the N82 owners. But now-a-days my phone is giving me troubles. Its restarting again & again after 10-20-30 mins. Now I'm not using memory card. No music,video,games,applications r there in my phone. I have formatted(using *#7370# as well as using *,3,green button technique) my phone. I did not have any bluetooth excange with any other mobile. I don't use internet in my mobile. So there should not be any virus. But today while listening to FM radio my phone restarted after 20 mins. Sometimes while accepting a call,sometimes while capturing a snap, sometimes while changing any settings my phone goes on restarting after 10-20-30 mins. I already brought my phone to NOKIA CARE but they r just formatting the phone & asking me to check. Temporarily it works fine & again its giving probs. Its already in its warranty p I'm just feeling depressed & helpless. What may be the problem? Is it the problem of mother board,or os, or firmware? It should be mentioned that I tried to update my phone firmware. In 1st attempt it showed an error & asked me to open the battery & again mount it. Then it was successful. Now I'm using V31 firmware.

Nokia :: 5800 Phone Memory Not Detected
I tried connecting Nokia 5800 through mass storage on Windows XP and Windows 7, but only memory card gets auto detected and phone memory is not getting detected. Also when I open "My Computer" I can see drive letter assigned to Memory card, but not to phone memory.While when I connect through PC suite, I can browse both phone memory and memory card. current firmware version: v30 free space in phone memory: 75 MB Can somebody please help understand the problem and get it resolved.

I usually use bluetooth on my Nokia E71 without any problem. I can stream audio from the Nokia to my Parrot Party speakers, be hands free in my car bluetooth system, can transfer files between my PC and the Nokia.However, for some odd reason, the Nokia does not detect my Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000. My laptop connects without a problem to this keyboard, but the Nokia won't.

Nokia Nseries :: MicroSD Card Not Getting Detected?
I recently acquired a 32 GB class 10 Kingston microSDHC card for use with my N8. The phone seems unable to detect it however The card works fine on the PC, and I tried out a couple of other microSD cards (lower capacity though - 2 and 4 GB) in the phone, and they work fine as well. So it's just this combination of 32 GB card + N8 phone that seems broken.

Nokia :: Map Loader Software / No Storage Medium Detected
I downloaded the Software in object and trying to use it the message I get is : "There is not storage medium detected. Connect your device to yuour computer via USB using data transfer mode or insert the memory card into a card reader and restart Map Loader.etc etc". The problem is that once I connect the USB cable to the laptop and to the mobile phone, it says to me that during the USB connection the mermory card won't be visible. Could someone help me in understanding what to do?

Nokia :: N97 Mass Memory Randomly Stops Being Detected
I have a brand new N97 (recently updated to the new firmware) and I seem to be having issues with the mass memroy on the phone. It randomly stops being detected. When I try to view the memory I get a message saying "memory in use". Sometimes a reset of the phone fixes this, sometimes it doesn't. I'm at a complete loss at this point.

I bought a N86 8MP 3 days back and the package came with OVI Suite DVD. This DVD installed the below software on my PC: Nokia Ovi Suite 1.1.243Nokia Photos v 1.6.103Nokia Music v 1.1.11203.00 My PC satisfies the system requirements for OVI Suite and runs Windows XP SP3. While OVI Suite seems to detect the phone & displays the Memory status, the Nokia Photos & Nokia Music do not even detect the phone. I also found that OVI Suite compatibility page on Nokia website not listing N86 8MP as compatible phone... Is that true?If that is true, why is OVI Suite DVD bundled with N86 8MP Package?What should I do to resolve so that I can start transferring contents between PC & N86?

'm using an E71 with the latest update of PC Suite on a work networked PC using XP Professional.Until yesterday I was syncing through USB with no problems.Yesterday although my device is connecting to the computer and syncs the image files when I try and sync the contacts/calendar PC Sync fails to find the telephone and I get a warning message in the Log to say that there is no phone recognised or the phone is not responding. It suggests I check the phone is in the idle state - and to the best of my knowledge it is - but how do I know for sure? (sorry to be dim)

My phone - 5610 Musix Xpress - has stopped detecting the memory card (it was detecting all these days). Due to this, I can't access data stored on the card (such as Music, Pics etc). Also photo's taken cannot be stored on the card is not possible - it moves to phone memory automatically (and phone memory is too small).Surprisingly, when I tried to do a synchronization all the pics from the card got copied to my PC. But, when I using the option 'Image Store' on the Sync, it does not detect any pics on the card.

Nokia :: All Photos - Music - Videos Not Detected By Media Player / Photo Gallery
I recently encountered issues with the photo gallery and the media player on my nokia n900 where all the photos, music and videos are not detected by them. If I were to browse to them via file manager, I can find what I'm looking for but if I go into "photos" in the main menu, it just displays "(no images)" (there are images on the phone) and in Media Player (main menu again) it just shows all 4 icons but shows "(no songs)" or "(no videos)" under music, video and shuffle all songs (again, there is music and videos on the phone). Internet radios still show 48 stations. If I were to use file manager to open images, music or videos, they run normally as if their programs can detect them but they are still undetectable when gone into "photos" and "media player". Even with music, if I play it via file manager, hit back to go to the media player menu (with the 4 icons), it still shows no songs or videos, despite it playing one!Can anybody help me resolve this?Firmware version = 3.2010.02-8.203.1 (recently reflashed, issue was not occuring when I had the latest vodafone uk firmware version, forgot it's version number)Edit:Forgot to add, this happened gradually. These did work at first after the reflash, photo gallery went a week ago the media player stopped working today.

so im interested into understanding why the nokia video cable for n95 costs around 40€ in my country while you can get a very very cheap one for no more than .hat are the advantages of nokia 1 vs a normal 1? does it scale the image to a higher resolution than the phone 240*320? does it offer anything else at all than basic video/stereo audio output? Im rly curious since i find the price just ridiculous if its the same!

If I get a USB flash/debrand cable for my Samsung D600 will it also act like a USB data cable (like the one originally shipped with the phone)? Or would I still need to buy a USB data cable to transfer files and charge the phone? I lost my data cable and wondering if I should buy another data cable or if the flash cable does both jobs. In short, can I use a USB flash/debrand cable to: 1. Transfer files (like mp3s, videos, pics). 2. Use it to charge my cell when connected to a USB port.

i went and got Composite AV cable today to connect 3G iphone to my Tv. i can only view videos in Black/White only on My Samsung TV . Nokia Lumia :: Proximity Sensor Stuck In "Detected" State?
I am unable to end calls on my Lumia 800. As soon as I hit send on a phone call, whether the phone is close to my face or not, the phone goes black, and stays black until the other end hangs up. I went into the Diagnostics to check the Proximity Sensor and it is stuck in "Detected" mode. My phone has no screen cover and is only about a month old. There's nothing obstructing the top right side corner over the sensor. This behavior didn't begin after any update, and I have no background tasks running (though I don't believe the sensor is available via the APIs anyways). Since there's a ton of people on xda-developers with the same issue, is there any fix to this or is my phone faulty? Is Nokia aware of this and has there been any effort to contact providers or Lumia 800 customers to let them know this is a major, wide reaching problem with this phone?
