Nokia :: N96 / Unable To Play Either Sound Or Video Clip Via Real Player
I have a Nokia N96, I'm unable to play videos from the Real Player. I transferred a few videos from the PC using Nokia Video Manager. When I try to play the video, it gives me a error message - "Unable to play either sound or video clip - trying to play partially". I tried transferring another video using Ovi Suite, but still get the same error. I also tried recording video on my device & tried playing it, but still get the same error message. I'm unable to play the videos recorded from the device. I updated the firmware of the device twice. But couldn't get rid of the concern. Can anybody help me on this?

I am having probems with the video player. I tried converting some avi files to mp4 using Super and with most options I use, when I try to play on the phone it says "Unable to play sound or video" so it only plays the sound! Has anyone else experienced this? N95,N81,N96, N97

Nokia :: N96 / Real Player No Sound
I have converted a few videos to watch on my phone, but when I open them with real player the video plays, but there is no sound. I try to adjust the volume, but it shows no audio and at the bottom of the screen there's a speaker with a line through it as though it's muted. When I select options, there is no option for volume. Please help.

Nokia :: N85 - Audio Player - Real Play
I have found a solution for these problems: - the Audio player doesn't play mp3 file and it shows a system error, - the Real player freezes on playing video or only plays sound on video without picture, - the Photo album shows a system error or shows the thumbnail in bigger size instead of the real picture. In the main system memory (not in the memory card), in the root directory there is a R1_Mobile_4_0.cfg named file. Some of the multimedia settings are stored in this file. I renamed the file name to something else (doesn't matter what name you give it). After that I started any player (Real player for example) and this file (R1_Mobile_4_0.cfg) was regenerated in the root directory. After that everything worked well as it should be.

Nokia :: Loss Of Sound Half Way Through Playing A Video Clip
I have had my awesome N95 for a month now and have just loaded the nokia suite. I have sent video clips ranging from 4 seconds to 3 minutes to the phone that were taken on a Samsung 8mp camera but after exactly half of the clip, the sound stops but video keeps playing. I'm sorry if this has already been asked but im new to this and don't know where to look.

I have a Nokia N85, and I've noticed that since yesterday (when I installed and uninstaleld Core Player), my phone is unable to play any kind of Video files. I've tried with Real Player, and it just freezes on the black logo screen. I also tried with Core player and it doesn't work. What should I do? How do I fix "Real Player"? Perhaps I have the codec files missing...

I wonder if anyone can help me. I've got some videos on my phone (both MPA and 3GP) which used to play ok. All of a sudden every time i try to play one of the videos i keep getting the error message: unable to play media clip. This happens via RP, File Manager or Videos & TV Can anyone offer any advice to solve this problem?Currently still on v11, which is another issue on its own. PC want allow me to update via NSU or NOS, keep getting an 'Internal Error' message so stuck on v11 unless i send my phone away for SIX DAYS while they update the firmware.

I have a Nokia N95 on T-Mobile and im trying to get the video streaming working on it. I have tried 2 sites http://www.bbc.co.uk + [url] I havent had any luck with any of them. My real player settings are correct on the handset to use T-Mobile's APN. There are also no restrictions on T-Mobiles end, i know this because i work for them.

I'm having problems playing video clips with the real player I have downloaded onto my Nokia e71x. Whether they are short (2 min) or long (over 30 min) there is a pause and jump every 5-7 seconds. The image and the sound pauses for a moment, and then jerks ahead. It may be an issue with the Video Manager on Nokia PC Suites, but I was curious to see if anyone else is having this problem and if there are any solutions...

Past few days I have clicked the button switch to video mode on my N86 Internet-> Youtube website to watch video.. After that i can't change back to watch in flash anymore.. Before the change to watch in video mode, real player will automatic activated when i clicked the youtube video, but now i can't find any button to change back to the play in Real player mode..I'm now cannot play any Youtube video using the video mode!

Recently got a N82 off Ebay on o2 PAYG. Phone was hanging and crashing quite a lot on a few applications so i did an SD card format and the infamous *#7370# to restore everything to factory default. Phone seems a bit more stable now but unfortunately doesn't seem to be able to play MP4 files anymore. It just comes up with an "Unable to play media clip" error. They were playing just fine before the reset, anyone know what the problem could be (I am on the most up to date firmware etc).

5530XM user.... If I use YouTube via the web browser the default application to handle streaming video is Real Player, which does not work at all. It sticks at 0% downloading, and nothing else happens. Is there a way to change the default streaming video handler to say, Video Center, or ANY other application? Did a hard reset. Problem still exists, and I first experienced it AFTER the v.20 update.

I noticed something weird. The real player is an application that is built to play rmvb files right? I mean rmvb is real media video sumthing right? The real player on my 5800 (installed upon purchase) plays the rmvb file's audio pretty nice, but the video pixelizes and lags behind all I can see are big unmoving squares despite the video being at 300+bitrate and 640x480 resolution! Now I'm currently using Xilisoft Video converter, but for some reason the audio doesnt come over when the vid is converted to mp4 and is played on my phone. it registers as 'no audio'.

When I recorded a sound clip using my E63, it is stored in the phone memory. Thereafter, I moved it to the memory card.However, to my horror, when I opened the file on my computer from the memory card, the sound clip was not transferred completely. It was supposed to be 15 minutes long but it became 4 minutes. To make matters worse, the clip is no longer in my phone memory.Is there any way I can retrieve/ restore the clip?

Just recorded a sound clip with my N96(11.101) and after that i went to options-go to gallery and I didn't find the clip in the sound clip directory.After that I tried to find it in the Gallery-music directory and it was there...anyone knows why is it placed in another location then in Sound Clips?Is it a problem or is it just the way the N96 work?
