Last night i deleted my messages in my inbox and sent box. afterwards i didn't do anything else and suddenly just stopped working. i turned it off and turned it back on and it came up with Memory full. Delete or Remove some data from C: Phone Memory. and then every so often would come up with system error
i tried going into things like the photos or video and internet and apps pages to view them but it would just freeze and not do anything. i recieved some text that were sent like 3 hours before when i thought it was working and i could text back as when you go to reply you can't go into the screen to start touch screen typing.............
I have a nokia n73 and every now and then, it says memory low, delete data. now i have checked my memory and have 191kb memory free. this is the internal memory. everything normally gets saved to my MMC. at the minute i have taken my memory card out and the phone is still doing it. i have 4 txts on my phone thats it. sometimes i cannot send or receive texts due to the problem. its soo frustrating! i do not use or have the phone set up to use the internet on it. i cant even access lifeblog at the mo. how can i delete lifeblog?
I have my N73 ME bought it last 6 mth ago and a few weeks ago got an error msg as "memory too low, delete some data" appear. When I check my memory space, there was 369MB in use and 1553 MB free memory (mine is 2G) and the phone memory is 44MB in use and free 205kB. All setting have been set to straight go to memory card but i dunno why my phone memory carry high data like that. 1st time I went for repair, they reformat it. It's ok for a weeks or 2, then the problem come back again. Until now, 1 have re-format my N73 ME over 3 times and still I facing same problem.

Nokia N73 and "not enough memory" warning. I have a N73 and I can't add anything to my contacts or calender because it says I have to delete some data first. I've deleted everything I can I think of from having no messages in either in/out/draft boxes to clearing browser cache and all my games highest scores etc. This is the phone memory it says I have 47 MB memory, in use 118 kb free memory 15 kb, calendar 92 kb, contacts 239 kb, messages 0b, images 0b, sound files 0b, video clips 144 b, documents 2124 kb, applications. It just doesn't add up and there's nothing I can delete. I have messages I can't receive and I'm at a loss as what to do apart from launching my phone across the room. I have a 1gb memory card in it and that has 942MB free memory so memory shouldn't be an issue. As it is at the moment I can't add any contacts or anything to my calendar.
I am trying to delete some data because of the message I get when switching on my Nokia 3230. The message says: "Home Screen: Memory insufficient. Delete some data first" However, I cannot access the MENU/File Manager/Options by pressing the Menu key.
I get this message when I try to use most applications in my new Nokia C503 "Not enough memory to perform operation. Delete some data first"i have 116Kb free in the phone memory and 960Mb in the Memory card. I don't have stored any messages, nor pictures, nor videos in my phone memory.Browsing with the File manager on the phone memory only see empty folders and some files .dat .cfg. cvs. txt. in the main root .
I have virtually nothing installed on c: (the phone) except for the nokia diagnostic thing. But I have less then 800k free memory left. When I didi the last system update I had 25mb free and since then I have applied a Ovi Maps, Contact and Music update all done through the phones SW update thing.I have a couple of file explore apps installed so I can go anywhere on the phone memory and I was just wondering if there is anything I can safely delete.I have a 5230 and I have done the usual of getting rid of the data inside the browser.
I store my E61's txts on the 2Gb memory card. The 'Inbox' has a lot of texts. When I try to delete a txt from the 'Inbox' I get the message:"Memory full. Close some applications and start again!" but I don't have any applications open.Deletions from the 'Sent' folder work fine.
I got new E75 with 100.48.78 firmware. Running for few hours fine, than at the evening I configured corporate Exchange email. Sync was long, but eventually it succided. In the morning I got several messages about low space, however when I check, only 200kB is used by messages, contacts, etc. Most - 72MB is "other". Browsing files gives you nothing to delete. I didn't installed any applications, just few ringtones and few bitmaps. Forgot to mention - battery was full at the evening, and one bar left in the morning.
I called Nokia Care, they told me to do factory reset. OK, even if this will waste few more hours of my time. Now the phone is barely running, very slow, from startup it takes at least 5 mins to acquire network. what root cause it might be? How to prevent it in the future? I still can return the phone, but not for long, decision must be made within day or two.
I need some help and technical advise as how to delete some files from Phone Memory location such as: c;systemdmgr c:system c:systemDATA c:cache all those directory is not able to view by Nokia File Manager. However it has used up atleast 70-80 Mbyte of my phone memory.
Can anyone tell me how to securly delete any trace of history in memory, phone and hard drive?I am thinking of selling my N96 and I'd like to sure that there is no trace of my files on it.Maybe I havent tried hard enough to find info on it be cant see anything yet.
My Nokia N73 keeps saying that the memory is full and i must delete contents to send an SMS, i have deleted almost everything and put a new 2G memory card in and it still does it. Ive had a lot more on my phone before and this didnt happen.
I sometimes receive the message "Memory Full - Close some applicatons and try again" when I go into my text messages or emails. It won't let me send a message/email until I reboot my phone, and when I do this, I usually get some texts or emails which friends sent me a few hours ago, as the memory full thing was stopping them from coming in! Now at the times that this has happened (nearly every day now), I haven't had any other applications open. I've asked around about this and apparently i need to delete some applications, but the only 2 that i have are a Gmail app and a Facebook app which is really only a shortcut to the website! All the rest are applications that came with the phone. I've also just deleted my Games app as i never use it. I've gone into my File Manager and checked my Phone Memory, and i have 27.7MB free.
Here is the following memory on my phone as it'll probably help you help me!! Hopefully! -
My second problem is that when I try to delete multimedia messages in my Sent Items , I get the message "General : Already in Use!". I presumed this meant that if I still had the image saved in my phone that perhaps it couldn't delete it, but I've even tried deleting the image from my phone, and it still won't let me delete the messages! And they're quite a lot of KB.
I know this has been discussed lots before but I can't seem to "find" a solution that works for me.The N97 phone memory 64MB shows full but when I look at it under Explorer I can only see about 25Mb of material.Where is the rest of the memory going to? I have gone through all the folders and files via expoler and can't find anything bigger than 2MB except Maps at 9MB. When I add them all up it comes to just over 25MB.Any tips on what I could move to the Mass Memory delete to free up some memory. As far as I can tell everything that can run off the Mass Memory is already there (text messages, images, music, apps etc). Are there some sort of log files or crash files that I could delete without hurting the phones operating system?
I still face a problem that when I buy mobile then phone memory was 40MB, but now it reduced to 30MB. I try to browse and remove unwanted file from phone memory. But nothing gonna happen. I also use pc suite, mass storage etc, but can't. What can I do now?
My girlfriend's N95 8Gb came to something of a nasty end over the weekend. No screen, no keyboard, camera unit's out, but, with a battery the lights still come on. The question is whether we can recover anything from the internal 8Gb flash memory. Any thoughts as to whether anything's salvageable and/or how to go about it? Has anybody been in the same position and succeeded in recovering any data?
my N73m has a problem it shows low internal memory, some data must be deleted. But the phone actually very little data. i have not loaded anything on to the phone memory even the 2GB memory card also consists of only abt 512MB of data. while scanning for interanl memory it shows irratic values sometimes it shows 128KB free space and some times 150kb of free memory.
I am not able to backup the contact data of my nokia n79 to memory card. When performing the above function the progress bar progresses for sometime goes 50 % completed and then returns to the home screen. Tried formatting the phone/MC as well as re-flashed the firmware but no use. Is there anyone having similar issue ?. FYI the phone is under warranty and there is no proper response.from the nokia centre so i have decided to repair it myself. Is there any workaround for this issue ?
I just received my E75 back from Nokia care but I m facing same problem again,Problem was that my phone memory became full & I can't receive calls SMS or anything...Today when I add backup in the phone again it alarming that ur phone memory became full but when I check my phone memory there is nothing but a folder name Other Files which is 56 MB.
Im having a problem with my N95 8GB, I cant receive any messages coz my phone memory is full, as well as I cant change any settings(changing ringtones for example) is there any software that can help me OPEN my PHONE MEMORY's HIDDEN FILES?
I am using Nokia 500. My question is how to delete unwanted files in C: Phone memory, which has 83MB SIS applications and 81 MB other files and why daily the free memory is getting reduced for example it was 100 mb earlier and I dint even installed new applications and it reduced to 20 MB, is there any option as we have in computer like clearing files in %temp% and prefetch .
In my E71 phone, I have lost my MemoryCard Data many times.I dont know why this happens. I searched solution for this problem but failed.I hard reset my phone, Formated data Card and ReInstalled OS And Softwares But nothing worked for me.I lost my all data Images, videos and songs. When I see the memory It shows the Size occupied by all Data But I cannt see them in galleries.Anybody tell me the way How to get solution for this.
I have my nokia E71 for almost a year now and all working fine untill last week. All of a sudden all data I had stored on the memory card (2GB) is not appearing on the screen anymore. For example pictures, music, is not showned in the phone anymore, only data that is stored in the phones memory. Also I had the Garmin GPS software on it and I can not access it anymore. Icon disappeared as well.I have checked the memory card and all data is still on it but it's just not been showned by the phone.I updated software but didn't help.
Currently I have a 2GB memory card on my E63 (latest firmware), which has 3 'paid-for' applications and several free downloaded applications, loads of mp3s etc. I have purchased a 4GB memory card already, and would like to "do something" that would help me retain the entire contents of the current 2GB memory card, onto the 4GB memory card, s.t. apart from extra file space (which I plan to use for photos, videos, music), all other applications and current content remain available on the new card, w/o any other impact. I believe that backing up and restoring via 'Nokia PC Suite' won't save my apps, and only some of the data. E.g. it won't save the eBooks I have.
I have just installed a Micro SD memory card in my E63, formatted it and it is showing almost 4GB free. But whenever I try to save data it just fills up my phone memory. Is there some extra step to get data to save on the card? It doesn't seem to be a problem with the card itself, as I successfully moved images there using "organize". And how do I move music files from phone memory to memory card, as there is no "organize" option ?
