Nokia :: Advanced Call Manager On E71-2 NAM
I have installed Advance Call Manager on my E71-2 NAM a couple of months ago and need some help. I also downloaded the manual. My problem is: I would like to have 2 profiles. #1 called "Day" where I can have the number of seconds before sending to answering machine mail set at 25. and #2 called "Night" where I can have the number of seconds before sending to answering machine mail set at 5. When I set #1 to 25 seconds it is also changed in #2, when I set #2 to 5 seconds it also changes in #1.I have been playing around with this for some time and finally decided to ask for help.The manual didn't help me, hopefully someone here can.

Nokia :: E63 Deleted Advanced Call Manager
I got my E63 and in a bid to check the optimal performance, I decided to remove all installed applications ("why would you do that?" don't ask me -- one of those crazy moments). After I removed the apps, I didn't see any marked increase in response time. So I decided to have them back on. And, lo! and behold! The applications I removed were gone from the app manager! I don't care about other apps, but I wanted to have Advanced Call Manager back. Is there a way to restore the app back to the App Manager?

Nokia :: Advanced Call Manager / E71x Not Getting Along
I just bought a E71x and decided to give the advanced call manager a try. Found my phone on the Nokia website, noticed that it was listed FOR MY PHONE and figured, "Eh why not. Sounds cool enough." Installed it onto my phone through PC Suite no problem. Then went to run it on my phone and........ locked up after informing me it was a 30 call trial and asked me if I wanted to try or buy. I click try... nothing. I click buy.... nothing. Anyone got any suggestions?? Have since uninstalled the program.

BB Pearl 8100 :: Mp3 And ITunes / Media Manager Asking Reinstall
I have a Verizon 8130 Pearl. I've found that the most reliable format to use is mp3 when downloading music to the card. I have 2 problems. The first is that everytime I try to run media manager from the desktop, it tells me that I need to reinstall the program, which I've done at least 3 times now, and it has never actually allowed me to manage my media files with the desktop program. Everything else on the program works fine. I've actually been able to backup my device several times with no headaches. I've taken to adding mp3's to the music player by hand because of this, and it has been working fine until today. I downloaded a few files from iTunes (first and last time if I can't figure out the problem). I had read that the device can support aac or mp3 files, so I wasn't too concerned when the files were aac format. I copied them to my music folder, and it doesn't show up in my list. I converted the files to mp3, they still don't show up in my list. The files don't appear to be protected, so I'm stumped as to what the problem is and I'm pretty limited on what I know how to do.

BB Desktop Software :: Unable To Restore Desktop Manager After Reinstall
A while ago, I don't know what I was thinking but I deleted my BB messenger. I lost my phone list, but the phone actually shows my numbers at times. I went in and reinstalled everything (after I backed up the info), however now when I go to restore on my desktop manager, it won't let me select any of the icons...now i can't seem to restore my phone list in my contacts. It should automatically begin the backup and restore process when I plug my phone into the computer but it isn't.....I am very frustrated. If you know how to help, please do so, but use normal information (not a techy).

Nokia :: 6300 - Advanced Car Kit Not Pairing
My car was fitted with a Nokia Advanced Car Kit CK-7W before I bought it. I have the Nokia 6300 mobile phone and the Nokia website says it is compatible with the CK-7W. However when I tried to pair it, it did not even find the phone and although the light on the remote control on the dash was supposed to be flashing while searching, it was just a steady light. According to the specifications, the CK-7W is Bluetooth 1.1 and the phone is Bluetooth 2. Apparently, Bluetooth 2 is not backward compatible beyond Bluetooth 1.2 and I suspect that is why I get no response from the unit. Could anyone tell me if it is possible to upgrade the car kit by firmware or anything so that it would accept Bluetooth 2? Also if anyone could confirm that I am right about the two not being compatible even though Nokia says they are.

Cseries :: Nokia C3 Advanced Mail Settings?
Can't setup my mail accounts on Nokica C3. It only works for default mail services, but if I want to setup other email accounts, I need some way to enter IMAP/POP servers, ports, etc. If I choose "Other" in mail client, I can only enter mail address and password. Then I see message that connection can not be established. I expect to have an ability to enter all mail setting myself, but can't find any way to do it. It is really desappointing.

Nokia :: CK-7W Advanced Bluetooth Hands Free Car Kit & 6233 Phone
I have a CK-7W car kit and a 6233 phone which on clicking into the cradle CR-56 would connect to speakers and charge phone. The phone became faulty and as the phone is no longer made(and it appears car cradles are not made now like this one) , I purchased a new 6233 on e bay which i suspect might be made for Asian market. The new phone was made in Finland and the old one in China and the new phone seems to have some different menu styles. The bluetooth connection works ok BUT when i click the phone into the cradle the phone disconects from bluetooth. I have deleted and repaired the connection but same result.

No option to update to v1.5, nothing. I've removed it, tried adding again but nothing. I have done this about 4times tonight & I an getting very frustrated. Anyone got the answer?

Nokia :: 5800XM - Fw Reinstall
I bought an unlocked 5800XM (RM-428, fw 21.2.025) for my wife a couple of months ago. It is actually Cincinnati Bell branded, but we are using it in AT&T. Until yesterday everything was going smoothly until she was not able to send SMS's anymore. I verified the SMS center #, all other settings etc., but to no avail. I even put my SIM in the phone and I wasn't able to do that, either. The phone was able to receive messages, though. And she was able to send messages on another phone. So... I decided to use my Nokia PC Suite and Software Updater to check if there is an update available. No, there wasn't, but I still decided to go ahead and do a reinstall. Just in case. The process went great, no problems, error messages etc. Except a "phone disconnected" (I never touched the phone or cable while the update process was going on) message a couple of times, which the PC Suite said is okay. Until I tried turning the phone on. NOTHING! I press the power button and the screen lights up briefly, but that's it. Then I decided to press the button a bit longer so that I would feel the usual brief vibration when turning it on. Well, there is a vibration, but it continues for about a minute, or so, and then stops. But the phone still doesn't turn on.

Nokia :: Cannot Reinstall/update Maps
For as long as I can remember, Maps would crash on me whenever I'd go to Settings|Navigation. I read somewhere that reinstalling the application might fix this, so I uninstalled Maps - which apparently did not really uninstall it but only reverted it to version 2.0 - and then used Nokia Maps Updater to update it back to 3.0. Of course, this being Nokia, nothing works as it should do, and so NMU tells me that everything's ok: "There are no new updates for your phone!". Every once in a while when I try NMU again, it does find an update, called Map Data Version 0.1.23.112, a very small download that does nothing to update Maps to 3.0. I knew that one way of "resetting" Maps is to delete the "Cities" folder and the "QF" file. I did that and tried NMU again - still no update available. The next thing I did was a phone reset - no joy. I thought I'd "reset" it a bit more if I go to Nokia Maps Loader and I manually delete all the stored maps. I did that, and NML had this to say: "Connection to the storage medium has been interrupted. Attach your storage medium and retry.", even though I was using the same sturdy USB cable connection I've always used with no hassles. After several retries, it probably deleted all the stored maps data, although this apparently did not help. I then tried running the update file suggested in this post - that didn't do anything by way of allowing Maps to be updated by NMU either. I then accustomed myself to the idea of having to go back to using Maps 2.0, but - unsurprisingly - this doesn't work either: whenever I open Maps, I receive the message "Cannot open application, install latest version from nokia.com/maps". Of course, if you go to that address you are told to use Nokia Maps Updater, and so we come full circle. Thank you, Nokia, for the quality time that we have to spend trying to compensate the lack of quality in your software.

After upgraded Maps 3.03 to 3.04, i noticed that navigation was acting strange thing.It could navigate successfully just only couple of time and then "Waiting for GPS" appears all later usage.So i decided to reinstall just only to find the haunting "Waiting for GPS" in navigation mode.i was so desperated that i uninstalled almost every application from E72.Now i'm facing the consequence;i cannot reinstall the Ovi Maps anymore.In the middle of installation, there is "Update error" appears.i checked version from Options -> Support -> About -> v3.03 (Of course)However, in App. Mgr. -> Installed apps. -> i found Ovi Maps successfully installed in E:But still lacking in phone (The Nokia Maps)That means it was partially installed. Success in drive E: but failed in Phone's memory.Test and trial1. Uninstall the sw. Do the hard reset (*#7370#) and reinstall it again. (Failed)2. Uninstall. Remove a microSD card (drive E and try to install the sw. (Failed) Assumption:i remember that i removed something similar to "Symbian OS pipe"Could this be the cause of the pain?
