Nokia :: Mail Exchange MFE Sub Folder Support E52 And E75
I received my new E52 yesterday, and i must say i am extremly impressesed, top quality and the slickest and fastest nokia i have ever used (was using E71 before). I just wanted to post some thoughts on the new MFE client. It really is a brand new piece of software, nothing like some of the previous versions which were un useable. I always chose roadsync over previous versions. The new client is almost perfect. After some intial problems finding the manual set up i got it working exactly as it should, the first sync took 5 minutes and synced all my inbox and subfolders. All new new mail i am receiving within seconds, its really working well and i would choose this over roadsync anyday. The one major problem which just holds this software back is that when you receive a message into a subfolder it will notify you that you have received a message but there is no visual notification of which sub folder it is in, this is a major issue if like me you have 40 subfolders.

Nokia :: E52 Web Browser Only Opens First Page
I have connection to internet via my home wlan. E52 can connect to it and when I choose a web page it will open it. But if select a link in a page and try to open that nothing happens. Same thing when I try the preconfigured links for the facebook and youtube. I can open the first page, but I cannot login to the facebook. I have to close the connection and type in directly the page where I want to go. I cannot use any links within the web pages.

Nokia :: E52 GPS In Phone Won't Find Any Single Satelite Without A-GPS Support
I recently bought e52. GPS in the phone wont find any single satelite without A-GPS support. When I turn on A-GPS it finds satelites and gets fix immediately. But I'm afraid it connects to the internet every 10 min to find satelites. I'm going abroad and I do not want A-GPS to be turned on. Regarding GPS itself I was on the open field and my phone could not find any satelite for about 20 min! Give me some hints please what should I do? The only option I have turned on is 'Integrated GPS'. The A-GPS is turned off, network based off, blootooth gps off.

Nokia :: 5800XM Web Browser - Multiple Page Support
not sure if it is already been discussed, but I was looking at a post for tabbed browsing and I just found that the standard web browser on the 5800 supports even a better feature: you can open N pages and then you can get a "slide view" of them. Open a page, then oper another, and another, then go to the option menu and click on the "Panoramic" button (not sure if Panoramic is the term used in English, anyway is the symbol with 3 sheets of paper one on another), and just swipe your finger to get the page you need.

Nokia :: N78 Calling And Answering Disable Video Calling
I am trying to adapt to my new N78. When a call comes in, I press the green button to answer. Instead of answering, I get a menu asking if I want to answer or ignore the call. The result is two button presses required to answer a call. When I place a call, I enter the number and press the green button. Instead of the call being placed, I get a menu asking if I want to call, and if the call is audio or video. Three button presses are required to place a call. Is there any way to answer or place a call with one button press? Can I disable video calling so that choice will go away? I do not need any 3G features.

Nokia :: 5800 - Full Flash Support - Experiencing Browser Application
We are living in the times when internet is in our pockets. Yet we have a crippled web browsing experience. Without full flash support, we are unable to do most of the work, communication, information gathering, nor enjoying entertainment sites. In the modern days of internet where speed is the most important issue, website developers just can't deal with mobile versions of websites. Not even the biggest sites, like CNN have a capable and usable mobile site. Yet, our Mobile phones, such as nokia 5800 (and also the rest of the communicator-like phones) with a serious browsing capability is discriminated because the websites recognize them as "mobile" phones. Most of the time you're not even able to browse the "normal" website and get the same experience to move around and even see the same information on your mobile phone. I'm also experiencing browser application issues. Freezes, hungs, because the site cannot coop with the disabled flash light. It starts to load the data, you able to see the flash box and then the browser just stops working. After a long time of exercise on different sites, such as youtube I'm convinced that flash 10 even bring our browser to its knees. The new flash 10 videos totally killing the browser on my nokia phone. And this is not firmware, not memory nor website related problems. It's incompatibility where the site and the browser just unable to coop.Time to fix and update browsers in Nokia smart phones including 5800! Get rid of discriminating our mobile devices as a"crippled" internet browser and give us the full web-experience.I was a faithfull nokia owner in the past 10 years (!!!!). I spent a lot of money on my phones. I always bought them even with limited information on the capabilities because I was trustful about the quality and feature-rich products. However if this issue will not be fixed on this particular phone because of whatever reason, be it as technical issue (the phone is not prepared for such internet experience), or be it as a way of lacking in development (never ment to handle such internet experience at all) then I have to leave nokia for good. This is not "silly warning" or an angry and frustrating finger pointing. It just the fact that if Nokia forcing me to swap phone, then I cannot trust a company with such business decisions to limit the timespan of their phone in such a way, that would generate more money for them. If this is not the case and we able to finally use our phone as it should work since the beginning then we will be the happiest buyers and supporters on earth. I'm also trying to send this to the customer support in the good hope that finally we will see some advancement on this topic. I think we, the users, were quiet patient up until now (a year or so passed and still no sollution on this).

Nokia :: 5800 Cannot Sync Clock - Image Browser Doesn't Support Sub Folder?
So far these are Nokia 5800 problems in my version: 1. Sync clock problem. Although you can use some applications, but still... it isn't supposed to be there. 2. Ringtone files that appear in music library. 3. No 'mark selected' feature. There are only 'mark', and 'mark all'. Kinda annoying when you have to selected several files. 4. Image browser that doesn't support sub folder. Even video files also appear. And it also related with the no 'mark selected' problem when you're trying to selected several images to move them to another folder.

IPhone :: Is Quicktime Plugin Censoring Certain URLs?
My iPhone 3G is running iPhone OS 2.2.1. I like to subscribe to podcasts using Safari and Google Reader (reader.google.com). Safari plays MP3 podcasts using the QuickTime plugin. Most MP3 podcasts play fine. However all those from the New York Times fail with the message "This movie could not be played". Here's an example: http://podcasts.nytimes.com/podcasts/2009/07/31/31bookreview.mp3 However, if I download this MP3 file, post it on my personal web server and point Safari to that URL, the identical MP3 plays fine!Is QuickTime censoring the entire nytimes.com domain? Is this because we are supposed to use iTunes rather than Safari?

E52 - Is it possible to expand the very small E52's memory from 60 MB at least at 100-125Mb ? Like all others Nokia E devices have since several years: E51,E65, E66, E55, etc.. Otherwise the Contact storage is very limited, because it seems there's no way to set the Contacts save memory on the SD card.

IPhone :: How To Add Self Signed Https Certificate?
Anyone know how to add a self-signed https certificate for the iPhone? I use a self-signed cert for a webUI for uTorrent via stunnel. In iOS 3.0 it wasn't much a problem; it would kick up a warning but would let you continue. In iOS 4.0 it won't let me continue without adding the cert. apparently. I get a prompt saying that the "certificate for this server is invalid." I've tried going to the webUI url in Safari on my mac, viewing the cert. when prompted, and choosing to add it to my keychain and then syncing, but I still get the same prompt with no way to continue or add the cert. I've also tried emailing my self the .cer file and adding it on my iPhone, but it still does not work.Edit: I've found the profile on my iPhone for the cert. I added, but shows it as "Untrusted".

my company changed their web email, it used to be http://owa.XXX.XX.XX/exchange which used to work fine for me, as I used to set up my email for blackberry using it. on my home computer, in order to access it using Microsoft outlook or any other Email software, I have to be logged in VPN before using the software to check my emails, thus the POP3 and SMTP will only work if VPN is connected. now they changed the web email to : https://owa.XXX.XX.XX/owa which if you notice, starts with https, my problem is, blackberry is not accepting it. VPN I have a profile on my computer i am not sure how i can import it, and I am travelling tomorrow and the Staff Support in our company is closed for the weekend, anyone have a solution for this will be really really helping me a lot, Thanks a lot for your support in advance.

Motorola :: Q9H Corporate Email Set Up / Phone Work With HTTPs?
I have had my Q for a couple of months now and have had my corporate email set up through my active sync. The emails and sync happened over the air and worked well. I believe this is also called MS Direct Push. Last week our comapny switched to a HTTPs server link and now I get errors trying to sync to it. I have set it up to use a secure Socket Layer and then it told me the certificate was incorrect. My IS guys installed a new certificate for the server and it still gives me an error code of 0x85010014. Which I am told is a temporary error and try again later. It has now been a week with no email and I continue to receive the error code. It just tells me there was an error syncing. I have uninstalled the active sync link on my phone and reinstalled my email account but I still get the error. When I went to the AT&T help thing it gave me active sync email or something which tells you to set it up with HTTPS but I don't have that ability with this phone. Using the info for MS Direct Push tells me to set it up exactly as I have. I also can connect to the internet without any troubles. I have server address, SSL (Yes/No), User name, password, & domain. Then what do I want to sync. Under the advanced options it is set to internet but can't be set to anything else. Does this phone work with HTTPs mail or not? If so how do I fix it? Please help!
