Oct 24, 2011
When does the angry birds seasons 2.0 update comes out for symbian (ham o ween) all my friends with ios andandroid have it, why isn't it in the nokia store yet? all websites say it is already launched for symbian 3
it seems angry birds for nokia 500 is great with nokia belle. but i wonder, like AB rio and seasons released for nokia 500, is angry birds space will release for other S^3,anna and belle devices? specially for nokia 500?
Why can't i find angry birds in the ovi store ???? i went to their website http://www.rovio.com/index.php?page=angry-birds and followed the link of the ovi store, and it took me to angry bird level pack1, how am i supposed to download the levels pack if i can't get the free angry birds, come on nokia were is angry birds. i like it how i can overclock the n900 from 600 mhz to 1000 mhz in less than 30 sec.
I'm trying to download the full version of angry birds game on to my newly bought C7 mobile phone. The Ovi store app always says that the "ovi store is currently unavailable" and "Try again later", when I click on the link(url...) sent from the ovi store website on to my mobile phone. I use wifi to connect to internet from my mobile, I do not want to use my operator's internet connect. I'm unable to download this game, however much I try. Please help me with this.
Does Angry Birds Space is compatible to Nokia 500.If yes then Please give Download Link.Press the "Accept As Solution" icon if I have solved your problem
Recently, I synced my iPhone to a newly bought MacBook Pro. But I noticed that my whatsapp and angry birds disappeared from my iPhone. When I wanted to purchase again they asked me to pay. So I paid double for the app. :/
The phone I use is my company phone. I bought my wife the Motorola Titantium because she wanted it. I refused to buy that Motorola I1, 1.5OS peice of crap, so I pretty much had to get her this one to make her happy.I wasn't expecting much because I have been a Southernlinc customer for a while and am use to getting the bottom of the barrel when it came to phones. The angry birds app (yep, the wifey downloaded it) . . . it locks up every 2 - 3 minutes. I have to go in to task manager, close out everything, restart, she plays it little bit more . . . then BAM . . . locks up again. Last night she finally said, "Guess it's a no go on the Angry Birds" Have I done something wrong or doing something wrong or is this phone not even capable of running an app as simple as "Angry Birds"??? how to speed this thing up?
Update to 4.0 ICS two days back as it arrives in India, everthing is seems to me is pretty switching back to apps is far better now from previous version. But the main issue is with games when i started "Angry Birds" is starts off smoothly and all the hardare buttons are working just fine but the touch screen becomes completely unresponsive and even "Temple Run" slows down and touch is just horrible, sometimes it even plays its own moves, haaa..haa, funny.. Same issues a bit of a time for few seconds also goes for "Skater Boy" game too which mostly runs very fine.
Angry bird was successfully downloaded and install but when i click launch after installation then it show error, and required to download again.I also found that the angry bird rio is not showing its icon at the main menu.
Angry bird rio data folder also not available in the Private folder.this means that the game is not installed in my phone at all..same thing happened if i wanted to install non-paid version..
I decided to switch from my Sony Ericson/UIQ phone to an N8 and quite honestly I have transferred most of the 500 contacts tediously over single bluetooth to messages at a time. Before you tell me about OVI suite etc, many people may not have a PC, or may not get to install the Nokia Suite, or simply are scared or more bloating of their PC's.You should make handset to handset data portability. I pulled out an old 6630 I had with a full address book, youre datastorer.sis file you send over does not work in older phones. UIQ rejects it (application is invalid) and so do the 2nd getn Symbian phones....
The issue is that you still don't support multi vcf support multiple VCF business cards as single messages instead of just reading the first card and stopping. Why is it so hard? You guys at Nokia should know that people just give up, if they don't get to personalize their phone and get their data on, they just return it and go for another phone. So serious effort needs to go into this.In comparision I got I got the (SE) VCF frile from the N8 and emailed it to myself picked up the email with my iPod/Iphone/iPad and in under a minute I had the 500 contacts in Apple devices.Maybe instead o trying to invent augmentned reality gizmos you can focus on getting core functionality right. Maybe people will be able to switch to Symbian. If it is impossible to switch to Symbian no one will.... why not make a iPhone App for people to dump their data in a way it can be pulled into a Symbian phone.... Lots of people are sick of their iPhone and the battery shenigans.....
I contacted TuneIn asking if would be making a Symbian app. The following is the answer I got."Hello HenrikThank you for contacting us regarding this issue. The Symbian app has been made already, but we are waiting for them to release an OS that can handle TuneIn and other media rich apps.Sincerely,DerekTuneIn" Were they waiting for Anna? Are they waiting for Belle? Why is Symbian the only OS that doesn't support TuneIn?
I read many posts about the development of the voip application Viber for Symbian Belle. Can someone clarify an approximate release date? Will the app be free or paid
Now I know this is a simple question but I figure most people are pretty switched on in this forum so should be able to help me quite easily.I have a Nokia 5500 sport with symbian S60 I believe running on it. Now the OS is horribly slow at loading the alarm clock and contacts, takes 6 seconds for the alarm and maybe 2-3 for the contacts. If I open the alarms, then the main menu and click alarms again, it loads instantly. I imagine this is because I never pressed exit and it was still resident in memory. Now I do not run many apps, basically just the essential stuff like SMS, contacts, alarms and contacts, I imagine all of these apps would fit in memory at once quite easily, is there an option to force apps to stay resident? Or perhaps instead of having 'exit' change the button to be 'home' so that they stay running in the background?I'm sure what I want to do is possible, I am just not sure how to do.
quickoffice pro 7.0 installation failed in symbian anna nokia c7, even before and after uninstallation of previous quickoffice come with symbian anna, before uninstallation of previous quickoffice when i try to install quickoffice pro 7.0 it says "update error".........and after uninstallation of previous quickoffice when i try to install quickoffice pro 7.0 it says "unable to install"
I have a Nokia N8 with Symbian Anna. I purchased QuickOffice Pro from Ovi Store and it downloads but then fails to install. The trial version from the QuickOffice site also fails to install. Before I purchased QuickOffice I deleted the version of QuickOffice that came with Symbian Anna. Now I am left with no QuickOffice even though I have paid for it.Can someone suggest what I should do so I can install the QuickOffice Pro that I have paid for.

Does anyone know of a third Party S60 music player sincing iTunes' song rating & play count information with the phone's music library ?I mean: it's already possible to sync iTunes' playlists with Nokia's Media Sync on MAC (and with Salling' Media Sync) on PC, however there is no option like with iPod/iPhone to rate a song while you listen to it on the go. Did I miss anything ?
