Nokia :: 6103 - No Option To Remove Shutter Sound Every Time You Snap A Photo
Oct 20, 2007
I just purchased a Nokia 6103 only to find that there is no option to remove that annoying shutter sound every time you snap a photo. My old Samsung phone was the same way however with the help of these forums I was able to get into the audio gain table to disable that sound. Has anyone figured out how to do this with the 6103?
I bought my 808 in Singapore, a country where other brands of smartphones come with an option to turn off the shutter sound eg HTC Desire S or an option to turn off the shutter sound when phone is in silent mode eg Samsung Galaxy S2. I was disappointed upon purchase of 808 to find that no such option existed.I would like to request Nokia to consider releasing a software update that allows users to turn off the shutter sound either as a setting or when phone is in silent mode. This was what Sony Ericsson did for its K700i model many years ago. There is a need to consider the varied needs of users eg the need not to awaken the baby when getting a shot. I wonder if this post is sufficient to convey my request to Nokia or should I make my request known to Nokia in another way that you can suggest?
I have a K850i on O2 UK, and it doesn't have the "off" option under shutter sound - it's just not there. Completely missing. I have 10 credits at Davinci, but it seems a bit extreme changing the firmware just to get rid of the shutter sound. I would rather spend the credits on my girlfriends Orange phone which has LOADS of branding on it. So, is there a different way for me to do it? Maybe replace "shutter sound 2" with a silent sound file somehow?
I'm not some perverted creeper, lol, but I was wondering, why is there no option to turn off the camera shutter sound? I think I read a long time ago that Japan passed a law that all camera phones had to force a sound when taking a picture, where I assume the perverted problem must be greater? Has the U.S. passed similiar laws?
so I have an iPhone 4s and a while back I put a photo album on my phone, but now I cannot delete it!! The delete option isn't there to do it on my device and I have tried unchecking the synced photos button on iTunes and that doesn't work, I just want them off my phone.
How can I change the camera shutter tone to louder snap sound.I want to change it to some other sound also..Please don't ask me to download other camera apps. I have tried so many but still prefer the original apps which give me the best picture and video always.
I need someone with a nokia 6103 to tell me the exact keystrokes to turn on bluetooth because my wife smashed it in the car door and the main screen is damaged/unviewable except for the top 1/8th inch. I have a bluetooth laptop and Nokia PC suite so if I can get the phone's bluetooth turned on I can use my laptop to get images/contacts etc from it before I get the phone replaced.
Is there any remote possibility for Nokia to add a vignetting tool to the photo editors for the N8 (which would hopefully include the 808)?
Vignetting is a pretty powerful tool that can help isolate subjects and seems to be a bit of an oversight on Nokia's part to leave it out, considering how good the cams are and the editors have often a good amount of adjustments that save me from running to Lightroom or Silver Efex Pro all the time.
