Nokia :: 5130 ExpressMusic - Not Able To Connect To PC Suite From Laptop
How to connect to PC Suite from Lap Top to Nokia-5130 Express Music model. I treid with User guide of the same model but couldn't help me out. I am getting message "PC suite is connected in non-compatiable mode, please change it from Phone UI" even though I selected PC suite option in the settings-->Connectivity-->USB Data cable-->PC Suite.

I'm this close to returning this phone. I keep on connecting the phone to the PC and get this: "Nokia 5130 XpressMusic USB Phone Parent". This service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. This is what I did (in this sequence). 1) installed ovi 2) installed PC Suite 3) uninstalled ovi 4) uninstalled Connectivity Driver 5) installed another version of Connectivity Driver (downloaded separately, and was an older version) 6) uninstalled every trace of ALL Nokia drivers and software My phone is detected and works fine in multimedia and printing and USB storage device modes. It's just the PC suite mode that's giving me a headache. And also, I restarted my PC after every step that is mentioned above. The driver is 5130c-2.

I have bought new Nokia 5130 Express Music handset on 26 Dec 2009 and Reliance GSM post paid connection. I have got settings from reliance from GPRS, WAP and MMS setting.The problem faced is whenever, I connect to opera mini browser, it connecting for 3 minutes and shows failed to connect to the internet. I thought, it is GPRS setting or network problem. But, after lot of enquiry with Reliance, they forwarded the settings. ACN: rcomwap IP: 10.239.221.5 Port: 8080 Noting works.

Nokia :: E63 - Pc Suite Doesn't Import Contacts From Laptop To Ph
I bought an E63 recently and by it's very nature I need to be able to link it to my laptop for uploading/downloading data. Laptop's a Sony FE11S running XP SP3 which connects successfully with the E63 via cable or Bluetooth. I need to import all of my contacts from the PC to the E63 but in PC Suite, as soon as I click on <contacts> <file> <import> it crashes bringing up the blue screen. Tried all the latest software versions including the E63, tried the Nokia PC Suite removal tools, tried only loading essential (windows) programs and still it crashes! It was over two weeks ago that I contacted Nokia support and all that I've received is a succession of emails (from different people each time) telling me more or less to do the same thing and ignoring my comments and questions, eg. is their a log file somewhere that would tell us where the problem lies? Tried telephone support a couple of times, hung on for 15 minutes each time only to be cut-off . . !

I installed PC Suite 7.1 on my laptop running Vista 32 bit. When I plug the phone to the PC using USB, it is not able to install the drivers and throws the error 'Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device Nokia N70 USB Phone Parent. The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or it has no enabled devices associated with it'. It worked perfectly fine when I had PC Suite 7.0 in my PC. The device manager has Nokia N70 with yellow exclamation. I removed it, replugged the phone and still it comes back.I reinstalled PC Suite, I went to control panel and uninstalled the nokia connectivity cable driver from there and I installed the driver from http://www.nokia.co.in/A4536208. I restarted the PC and I plugged the phone to the PC thru USB cable and I get the error: 'Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device Nokia N70 USB Phone Parent. The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or it has no enabled devices associated with it'.Appreciate if anybody could help me.

Nokia :: E72 - Won't Connect To My Toshiba Laptop
Just today I bought a Nokia E72 and it wont connect to my Toshiba laptop. My old N82 connects and disconnects just fine (I erased old connection for N82 and paired again with no problem). Tried to do many things like restarting etc. Nothing works. I can see my phone on the list of discovered deviced, but when I want to pair it waits for some couple of seconds and says "could not find service". I could though, send a file from N82 to E72 through bluetooth (however I noted it was a bit slow).

I have unlimited Internet access on my mobile and I've been opening up nokia PC suite and clicking on the connect to the Internet option and it states that it's connecting and then disconnecting then if i try again and connect then it just says "connection not available". If i click on the wireless settings in windows then it asks for usr name and password and i don't know these settings?

When I connect my N96 to that network, everything works great except when trying to access a web site, it says "General: Feature not supported!”Is that kind of connection not supported or what?

I have an issue with my e72-1 at the moment. It's either the phone, the ovi software.I have the following: Nokia e72 < acts as modem via cable or bluetooth > laptop..When it acts over modem via either cable or bluetooth, I can only access certain sites eg.I can't access google, or msn messenger for instance I can access wikipedia, and my ISPs website as an example.Originally I thought it was because it was only able to access australian servers, but this isn't the case. My browser just seems unable to get a connection to certain sites/servers ever - it times out when i try to view google - but only when my phone is the link to the internet.On the phone, I can access every site/server that I want. But not on my laptop via the phone. When I'm on another internet connection (home or work etc), I have no issues connecting to those sites/servers from my laptop.Browsing google over other connections has not helped me find a solution yet. The connection to the net is stable - it doesn't drop out and can remain connected indefinitely.I'm running: Laptop version: windows7, with ovi 2.2.0.241 Phone version: 031.023 The results have been the same on earlier versions of the phone and ovi software. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have one problem I can't connect my phone to Pc suite I do everything what I need and it still says that I have to tun on pc suite mode on my phone even when it's on what could be the problem? My phone is E72 THX for help BTW same is with ovi suite its says that my phone is not in PC suite mod and it can't recognize but I tuned pc suite usb mode on phone and I also what to conect to map loader but I can't as weal.

I am unable to connect my device to the nokia pc suite program. I have made all the necessary installations to the software, even reinstalling both the drivers & the program but when i try to connect the device it still says 'problems with USB connection' also after reinstallation the cpu says that a problem has occured during installation of hardware and reinstalling the software again brings back the same problem message.
