How do you adjust the power saver settings on the Nokia 2730 - I can't find where it is??This phone's screen goes blank after 25 secs even if the screensaver is on?

Having just bought a 2730, really nice looking phone, but although the screensaver option is on the device I cannot activate it. The screen goes blank within 30 seconds after use. The only way to tell if the phone is on or not is by pressing a key. (Very irritating)Does anyone know if there is a software fix for this?

Nokia :: N79 - Power Saver Theme
I bought an N79 just last mounth. it's a sweet phone but i have an small problem.; when i choose a theme for power saver (Date, text, slide show) it have been shown for only 2 seconds and disappear and screen goes to BLACK. even i choose longest time for power Saver but it did not work. Does NOKIA fix this problem in new firmware? how can i report this BUG to NOKIA? Nokia N79 4GB SW Version: 32.001 RM-348 MEA

Nokia :: E72 Power Saver Turning Off Garmin XT GPS
Recently purchsed my Nokia E72 about 1 month ago. Having purchased and installed Garmin XT for my mobile. The software works well but logs out after 10mins due to the Power Saver kicking in. Does anyone know how I can completely remove the Power Saver? the max time I can set it is only 90 seconds. This is driving me nuts as I really want my GPS to work as it should after 10mins. I have tried to put to backlight on when navigation but makes no difference because the Power Saver would just over ride it.

Nokia :: N95 / Deep Power Saver Mode
I had N73 before upgrading to N95 and it had Deep power saver mode where screen goes Black and presumably it conserves battery. i can not see any thing like that in N95. My n95 Battery goes off in 48 to 52 hours when i have changed it to GSM mode from Dual mode and do 1 hour of talking daily. Is it normal life of one recharge of N 95. If it is so than it really bad than N73 which used to be 72 to 80 Hours with one recharge.

Nokia :: What Power Saver Is Supposed To Do When Turned On?
I find that the power saver function of this phone cuts in too early. Sometimes when I am playing a game, or downloading a file, for eample, the screen will turn black very soon and I have to keep waking it up. This is with the 'power saver' setting already on 'off'. Isn't this behaviour exactly c It seems fair to assume that it is just not turning off at all.

Nokia :: N78 Power Saver Timeout Reverts To Default
I received the nokia N78 from vodafone on Saturday and set it up for the power saver to kick in after 30 seconds (from the sliding option scale of 1-90 seconds. I found that after the first couple of times of this functioning as requested it reverts back to a default of 5 seconds before going into power save. The requested 30 seconds remains in the settings but still the default overrides. I tried resetting this a number of times with identical results. I received a replacement handset today and attempted similar setups of this feature with the same identical results.It becomes very frustrating when your mid text or searching the gallery and the screen goes blank despite specific settings requested.Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how I can fix this?

Nokia :: Power Saver Disconnects USB Data Transfer Connection
I've previously had no problems with USB data transfer, but now my phone will drop the 'USB Data transfer' connection exactly at the time set in the Display Power Saver time-out. This is definitely the case 100%. This means I can no longer do a full backup, unless I can spend 2-3 hours continually pressing a phone key within 90 secs to stop the Power Saver.I have recently upgraded the firmware, but know that this USB Data Transfer problem only appeared a week or so later during which time I was recovering lots of apps. So I expect it is something I've installed or configured which is causing this problem//conflict.The problem is definitely with the phone and not the PC, as I have connected the phone to another system and it detects the 8GB as a USB drive (no Nokia software/drivers etc.), but this too disconnects when the Power Saver kicks in. I now have very limited backup and file access as both Nokia's Content Copier and File Browser do not show/process any hidden files/folders and I have many hidden folder/files to prevent the Gallery application from showing lots to application image files (e.g. Tomtom's speed camera and voice images)

1) My Screen Saver stopped working... screen stays lit indefinitely, even when locked... after multiple restarts and lots of frustration it came back, but this issue has already happened twice - surely a bug 2) Power-Saving mode doesn't really make sense unless it is customisable... I am on a 3G only network, power-saving enables GSM-only... see the flaw?

I just bought a N97 mini and it seems that when it is in power saver mode, the battery went from 4 bars to 0? I was shocked that I couldn't even turn it on in the morning. It's a real bummer when I have to leave the house and I realise my phone died overnight. Is this normal? Is there any way to save energy when I leave the phone in that mode at night? I'm very sure I have turned off all Wifi and Wlan and Bluetooth settings. Also, I believe my wall charger is faulty. There is no white light when plugged in. (Another bummer, when I returned home and realise my phone has not been charging the whole time I was out.) However, when I use the usb on my computer it works just fine.

I have a nokia 2730c and it shows 1 unread msg icon yet there is no new message in my inbox..i have tried looking for sim messages but there are also none..there are no incoming sms and my inbox is still not full. The icon just indicates there is an unread message in my inbox..I also tried browsing the messages in my inbox opening them one by one but still the icon is still there. please help me.

Motorola Q9h :: Power Saver / Battery Savings Mode?
Since using the Q9h, I have had this setting set to "Battery Savings Mode"? However, after reading through the manual and searching extensively online I cannot determine exactly what this "battery savings mode" does. I'm assuming it controls processor speed or something of that nature, as the phone's backlight and other visible features do not appear affected when I change the setting. If you're not sure where I'm talking about, go into Start -> Settings and choose 7 More then choose 5 Power Saver.Does anyone know exactly how this setting affects the phone's operation?

Motorola Droid Razr :: Display Power Saver Doesn't Appear To Do Anything
I found the System Settings > Display > Brightness > Display Power Saver checkbox, but turning it off or on doesn't seem to do anything. In fact, I noticed my Maxx's screen was darker than the Droid 4's in the store the other day, and I went into the Brightness settings and found Display Power Saver unchecked, so I checked it just to see what happened, and the screen got brighter. My brightness is always on Auto. Unchecking it had no effect. Since then I've been able to detect no difference with it checked or unchecked.

IPhone :: Can Adjust Passcode Settings?
When at work I always enable the passcode so that my co workers don't start playing my games and reading text messages. Lately they have been getting mad at me for putting the passcode on there and they know that after 5 wrong guesses it locks you out of your phone for 5 minutes. Is there any way to edit the files that control the passcode and remove the setting that locks the phone after 5 wrong guesses? I just don't wanna wait 5 minutes to use my phone after they do it on purpose.

Motorola Droid X :: Any Way To Adjust Auto Brightness Settings?
Is there any way/app to adjust the Auto Brightness on the Droid X? The brightness that the phone picks is way too bright, so I normally turn it down/off. But when I am in direct sunlight I can not see the screen well enough to find the brightness settings to adjust them so I can use the phone. I currently use the Android Power Control Widget to change my Brightness settings. It does a good job for me, except in the above mentioned issue. I have looked in the Android Market Place, but most applications just talk about predefined brightness settings. I found one called Custom Auto Brightness, but it does not seem to work on the Droid X.
