Motorola :: DROID How To Phone Into Diagnostic Mode
I'm trying to figure out how to put this phone into diagnostic mode... anybody knows how to to this? The usual ##DIAG is not working and looks like the phone has a lot of secret codes. I know two of them:

HTC :: Diagnostic Mode For Touch P3050
i have HTC Touch p3050 thats locked on Telus. For the past few weeks i have been trying to get the phone in diagnostic mode, i searched all around and tried all the ##diag stuff and it always dialed verizon wireless. I even tried to run the DmRouter and nothing happens, please help as soon as you can for this issue is whats holding me back from connecting to Qstp and CDMA workshop so i may program my phone. Once again please help i've been out of a phone for weeks.

Motorola Droid Bionic :: Car Mode Not On Phone?
I just purchased a Bionic with the car mount. I can only put the phone in car mode with the mount. I don't have a Car Mode Icon. I would like to go in to Car Mode without putting the phone on the mount. While in the car I made some settings default, like the Music, and I would like to undo this but can't find a way to do change it.

Motorola Droid 4 :: Crashed During Sleep Mode?
My phone had an 80% charge last night and the nightime battery extender mode was on (as it is every night). Five hours later I woke to the flashing green light so I tried to check my messages. The screen would not come on. I knew the phone hadn't powered off because of the green light. I called from my home phone but there was no sound either. I looked online and found how to force a reboot (power on and volume down button at same time). The phone came on and said it still had a 50% charge. It did NOT show my missed calls! I called Verizon and they tried to say it was a fluke thing and not to worry. This has never happened before and the phone is only a month old. I rely on the phone as an alarm so this is especially disturbing, as well as the unknown missed calls.

Motorola Droid 2 :: Global Goes Into Silent Mode All By Itself?
So I started to notice this a few weeks ago, My Droid 2 Global would automaticlly switch into silent mode all by itself at 10:00pm. No matter if it is in my pocket, or on my desk, or in the media dock. I find this to be quite annoying and missed a lot of calls and texts because of this. What I would like to know, is there a setting that control auto silent mode?

Motorola Droid 4 :: Oes Into Standby Mode When Using Apps?
New phone goes into standby mode frequently when Data is being changed in an app like the alarm. When changing the alarm function hour, every time the alarm hour is advanced, the phone goes blank, you have to hit the power button, then slide your finger across the screen to unlock the screen which puts me back in the alarm. When I make another advance in get hour, the phone goes back to standby mode, but happens in other apps too. I have already tried resetting the phone to factory defaults, with the same results.

Motorola Droid Razr :: Can't Deactivate Sleep Mode?
I really hate how I have to choose a set time to have my phone go to sleep. I watch the stock market while I am working at my computer and using my phone and it will automatically go to sleep after a set time that only goes up to 10 minutes with the new ICS 4.0.4. Why can't I deactivate this? This is really annoying.

Motorola Droid 4 :: Workaround For Lack Of Charge-Only Mode?
Just goofing around, I figured out that there may be a workaround to the lack of a charge-only mode, at least on Windows systems. Connect the phone, and it will show up as a mass-storage device in Windows Explorer and start charging the phone. Now, click the tray icon to "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media." That disconnects the mass storage device, yet leaves the charger working.

Motorola Droid Razr :: Freezes While In Mirror Mode
I bought the HDMI dock (not HD station) and while I'm plugged in with it to my tv my phone keeps freezing. The screen turns black on the tv. I imagine it's because it loses the HDMI signal. I have to do a hard reset. This is not some random thing. It always does it while I'm on the internet. Or the facebook app. I can stream Netflix without a hitch but as soon as I jump on line the phone freezes. Could it be the phone? HDMI dock? Or the radio shack HDMI cable and mini HDMI to regular HDMI converter? Right now I'm connected to the HDMI dock but not on mirror mode. Just using my phone. I wonder if I connect the HDMI cable straight to my phone will the same thing happen? I'll try and report back. I just trued connecting te hdmi cord straight ti te phine and no freezes. Only problem is unlike when im connected to the dock the screen on to the tv is not full size and vĂdeo quality is not good. I used the web top app and it never froze. It only happens in mirror mode.

Motorola Droid 4 :: Vibrate Notifications Only In Silent Mode?
Is there a way to set up the D4 to vibrate on receipt of e-mails and text messages only when the phone is in Silent Mode? As far as I can tell, the only choices are for the notifications to vibrate all of the time or not at all. Even with Vibrate set to "only when silent," e-mails still vibrate when the ringer is turned up. Basically, I'd like everything (phone, e-mail, texts) to vibrate when in silent/vibrate mode, and to not vibrate when the ringer's turned up. I could do this pretty easily on my old HTC Incredible, but it eludes me on the D4. If this isn't possible with the stock system, are there any recommended apps that would to the trick?

Motorola Droid Razr HD :: Where Is Mass Storage Mode
I dont get when we're told about an upgrade, that you find it acceptable to TAKE AWAY features? i have been choosing Android over Apple for years for things such as USB Mass Storage mode. I know people who plug their phones in USB to their car CD Players and use it as if it were a flash drive. Now those users who may just have purchased a new phone are now screwed. You add features for upgrades not remove them. I am shocked and truthfully appualed to see where this new type of developer planning can lead to. Next were going to get pushed onto the cloud. If I'm going to remain an Android enthusiast and recommend Android to others you will not take away the things that brought me to Android! I could seriously put my Env touch before ever getting the FIRST OG Droid in Mass Storage Mode.This is not being posted to ruffle the feathers of users on this forum. This is intended as a wake up call to the developers to realize it was us phone enthusiasts that started this smart phone revolution anyways. We ousted Blackberry when they started acting like a bunch of tools. Don't do the same.

Motorola Droid X :: Getting All Home Screens Rotated To Landscape Mode?
Is there an app or way to have all my Home screens rotate to landscape mode, as well as key apps like the dialer? I use the nav system in the car if calls come in, or if I want to lauch a traffic app, the screens, menus and dialer are all portrait/vertical. I've tried Open Home as a home screen replacement but felt it slowed down my DroidX and I don't really want to have to go through all the shortcut customization again. I tried the Car dock but can't globally add all the apps and some of the alternate car replacement apps seem to require a physical dock, which I don't use, and require adding in the apps I want to use.

Motorola Droid Razr :: Bluetooth Mouse Lag In Mirror Mode
I've been getting Bluetooth input lag when using mirror mode. I have a RII Mini Mouse/Keyboard combo which lags as soon as Mirror Mode is activated. The Mouse/Keyboard works perfectly outside of Mirror Mode. I also tried a logitech mouse (mouse only) and had the same choppy/laggy results. I tried both the RII and Logitech with wifi off, again with 4G off and again with both wifi and 4G off. This did not improve results. I am using a mini HDMI to standard HDMI cable to connect to my monitor and TV. I get the same results on both screens. I have also tried at different battery levels with the charger connected and disconnected. This happens every time I choose something from "Select Dock Type". If I dismiss that prompt after connecting HDMI i do not have the lag (prompt is dismissed by hitting home or back button when prompted). If I do choose a dock type the lag starts and does not stop until i disconnect HDMI.

Motorola Droid 3 :: Connecting To The Computer PC MODE Or Mass Storage
Everytime I connect my Droid3 to the computer my Droid Pulls pictures and music FROM my PC and puts it on the phone. Sometimes it will pull All of my pictures, and sometimes it randomly selects 2 or 3 HUNDRED of them. I recently decided to add some music to my phone and as I was creating my "playlist" to sync to my droid, I noticed that something was happening. Before I even hit sync, my phone pulled ALL of the music off my computer and stored it on my phone. I have tried to delete the pictures by going into the file on the computer and I get half way through when it locks up. I have to delete EACH picture. I have gone to the Verizon Store, they have never heard of this happening. They did a reset, which thrilled me because I lost all of my ringtones and downloaded apps. It also erased all the personalized ringtones I had set.
