We take picture then select the option to send via email. When received in email i8t's in landscape format even thoughit shows on the phone portrait.

Did apple take this feature away in ios4?On my 3gs photos reorient themselves when I hold my phone horizontally.On my ip4, even when viewing pictures taken in landscape mode they do no orient themselves when I hold the phone horizontally.

Since an update i now have the lumia camera and if i load a photo from the gallery into a tweet it loads as landscape and i cant rotate it. If i take a photo direct from the twitter app it loads fine.
Ive also noticed when I connect to a computer the photo seems to be saved in landscape, but this is not such a big issue as i can rotate it.
i have noticed that every time i view my email from any account using the stock email app in landscape view i can not scroll the email list smoothly. when i try and scroll it sticks every so often making it difficult to go through my emails in landscape.

I know their is tweeks and mods out there so your phone doesn't rotate to landscape when you don't want it to....but I was wondering if anyone knows of a tweek where whenever you open Safari, mail or notes it just automatically starts in landscape mode??
Whenever I open these apps I always firstly just switch them to landscape before doing anything....so if it happened automatically it would be much more convenient.

Ever since playing with the iPad, I've always felt restricted with the iPhone only displaying the home screen in portrait mode. They look fine on the IPhone when taken the old way. It's only when viewing on computer. My phone will randomly lock in portrait mode. It is not the lock button on the multitask bar, I know iPhones inside and out but I am officially stumped. The orientation is unlocked, but the phone acts as if it is locked. I have tried a power down, power up, and a hard restart.

when using anything in landscape mode, it doesn't show these items anymore.
It showed them always on my older iPhone 4 with IOS 7.Â
The "to top" button that auto scrolls to the top of the page (useful for sites that don't have a good set-up for phones).
That also showed how much battery life I have as well.
Also the Time, the 3G/4G, the signal strength, and if active the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth symbols.Â
I vastly prefer to use landscape mode when browsing the Internet or using email.
Since my eyes aren't what they used to be, I can't use portrait mode.Â
