May 12, 2012I've been using facetime for a while and it seemed to be working perfectly fine when all of a sudden now I can still use facetime but other people can only see me and can't hear me. I can hear them perfectly fine. It doesnt seem that you can uninstall and reinstall facetime as its built into the phone system.

Sep 5, 2010I just got a replacement iphone 4. On my first iphone 4 the microphone would not work on speaker phone or face time. I’ve had my new replacement phone for two days. I tried the microphone on speaker phone and it worked. I tried to connect with face time to my wife’s iphone 4 tonight. I placed a call and after I connected I looked and there is no face time button. I had my wife call me and push the face time button (yes I know it’s not really a button) on her phone it displayed connecting but it would not connect to my phone or show on my phone that there was a face time attempt. We are both on wifi and have a good cell signal. I tried to do face time through the phone contacts and the contacts icon.
I have 4.0.2 installed.

May 26, 2012I just got a new iphone 4s, Upgrade from my 3gs. Im on wifi , Texting works internet works, Everything is normal. When i go to activate my imessage and facetime , I type in my username and password like it says and then it just says error check internet connection. However, Im on my personal wifi which works 100% and even when i switch it off wifi it still says the same thing?

Jun 7, 2010after watching the promo video I noticed that is stated both caller and receiver have to be on wi-fi to use Facetime. Ok doesn't that really avoid having the ability to chat via video anywhere as advertised. Aug 10, 2010Hey guys I have a question. Me and my cousin both have iPhone 4s, both jailbroken and both have my3g. But everytime we use FaceTime with eachother the call only lasts exactly 1 min. It's very weird. Does anyone know the problem. And we have tried it many different. Times and at one point even in the same house and that lasted 58 seconds. It just says FaceTime call failed.
