I have an iPhone 3. I now have a new iPhone 4.I have my computer with lot more official and company related contacts and other data which I do not wish to transfer onto new iPhone.I would like to transfer only the same old data fro iPhone 3 to my new iPhone 4.How can I do this, preferable without going thru computer or icloud.

I created a set of flashcards on my iPhone, using a flash card app (not important to the specifity of it, as they all function nearly the same). And this has been causing me a lot of frustration. Is there anyway I can transfer my deck to my computer somehow? Some of the flashcard apps have a way to 'backup' to dropbox, but they backup in a file format that is useless when on a computer. Feel like such an idiot because Macs are supposed to be so intuitive, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to transfer the photos I took with my iPhone to my iMac. I have the phone plugged in through USB. The iMac doesn't seem to recognize it. When I open iTunes though, of course I can see it.
