IPhone :: Recover Deleted Text Messages Without A Backup?
Apr 26, 2012
I have an Iphone 3gs. I desperately need to recover deleted text messages from it. I have never synched my phone to itunes, "automatically synch to itunes" has always been unchecked. I had never made a back up until a few days ago, but i need to recover the messages deleted prior to creating the backup. and once the phone is synched, are your deleted messages lost forever
I am wondering if its possible to recover deleted text msgs from my iphone. I don't back up my phone often so my last backup was about 3 weeks ago so does that mean if I restore to that back up, I can only get msgs that was in that backup? If so, does that mean if I restore to that backup, all those msgs will be blended with the ones in my phone currently?
Another question: If I backup my phone right now, does that mean the deleted msgs are also backup? Which then I can restore to the backup with all msgs included.
I need to recover some text messages. Phone has not been used since they were deleted. I have been told so many things now. One is if it had a sims card they would still be there. I was told curve with Verizon doesn't have a simscard then I was told they all have one but it is built in. I need these texts back if possible. Is there anyone out there that can tell how or where to recover these messages?
I have a blackberry tour with version 5.0.0.624 Is it possible to view any deleted text messages?I have having an issue with my room mate snooping through my phone
I accidentally deleted whole conversation of text messages instead of 2 specific messages. How do I recover my deleted messages? They were not backed up by cloud. Will the SIM card support?
I deleted the backup file while trying to update to 5.1.1. My phone wouldn't update and I read that I needed to delete the previous backup (bad idea). Well after I updated OS I can't backup to get my previous files and contacts. This is horrible and I am lost at this point on what to do. And I haven't been using iCloud.
My father just passed away a few days ago and I wanted to keep the conversations we had over text messages, but it was over 30 days ago and it just deleted a conversation we had on September 13th. I've been trying all day to see if there is a way to retrieve the text messages, but I can't find a way. I will do ANYTHING as these are memories I will only be able to hold onto. Is there a way to retrieve the text messages by sending the device to RIM for them to retrieve or anything?
so I recently by mistake deleted a bunch of photos off my camera roll on my iPhone 5C. I didn't back up anything on iCloud or iTunes, and I don't yet have iOS8, so I can't go to the recently deleted folder. I've googled it and downloaded three so-called recovery programs and they only recovered the photos I already had on my camera roll, so am I downloading the wrong programs? another way to recover these deleted photos.
today i deleted some messages between me and a friend and those messages ive had for years and had information i dearly need back now. i plug my iphone into the computer every night and usually close itunes right away so idk if it syncs or not. since it has happened ive plugged the phone back in but it hasnt synced and i read around that if i restore it it comes back? idk exactly what to do though, and i am in dear need of those messages.
I accidentally deleted an entire correspondence (conversation) by accidentally hitting the "clear all" button. <Side note: Apple really needs an undo option here or a password confirmation before it just deletes it! I have done some searching through the web and discovered that even "deleted texts" are still embedded deep within the phone.
I need the steps to recovery the messages. Unfortunately, I thought that my phone was syncing daily with my laptop, but it looks as if it was not automatically set up. iTunes would open up and want to sync apps, but apparently not the messages. I don't know enough about iCloud to know if it would be possible to pull the old texts from there, but I'm pretty desperate.
I've downloaded Decipher Textmessage recovery and Wondershare, but as they both initially couldn't pull anything from iTunes, I did not push it further as I thought best to stay in holding mode. I know there is the iPhone Recovery Stick from ProofPronto but it's uber expensive and so if there is another way, I would rather go that route.
