Jan 6, 2010I just got the bold 9700 ver. 2 from ATT and don't have the phone icon. It is not hidden, I looked, and not in any other folder. All I have is a phone icon that is for Visual Voice Mail, which I am not signed up for and don't want to be. When I click the VVM icon it says do you want to sign up and I hit No and it just kicks me back to the main screen. How can I get rid of the Visual VM icon and get the Call log icon?

IPhone :: Some Calendar Appointments Missing On It
Jun 5, 2012I have a Verizon iPhone 4s running IOS 5.1.1 (9B206) managed by Mobile Iron and synchronizing with an Exchange Server 2007 SP3. It appears that certain calendar entries, which are present when viewed in Outlook, are not synching over to the iPhone. The only pattern I have been able to establish is that most of the appointments in question are calendar invites from other parties. The interesting thing is that the majority of appointments that are invites from other parties synchronize over to the iPhone fine, and I have worked through a number of test scenarios, but can't seem to pinpoint the cause of the issue. I have read through a number of threads and it seems that this has affected others as well, but no proposed solutions I have tried thus far seem to fix the issue.

Jun 27, 2012I currently owned a iPhone 3G but just recently purchased a iPhone 4s. I updated my new phone and after checking all of my info was updated onto my new phone. The next day I went to go look up a entry in my calendar and discovered all of my entries before march were not there. I know that they were when I updated my iPhone the night before. So since, I've tried manually entering all my old entries but when I do and get out of my calendar it disappears! This is extremely fustrating and important that I can enter all the old entries.

IPhone :: Settings Icon Is Missing On It?
May 19, 2012My "Settings" icon disappeared from my iPhone yesterday. I was able to find it using the search function (swipe left from the home screen), but the idon was completely gone.
After checking all my app folders to no avail, I plugged my iPhone into my Mac. In iTunes, I selected the phone in the left column and then selected "Apps" from the horizontal bar across the top of the settings. From there, I could re-arrange the icons on my iPhone.
My Settings icon was there, hiding out on the very last page if icons, all by itself. It had apparently been relegated there (not by me, I know that for sure). I was able to move it back to my home screen and now everything is OK.

May 12, 2012I just noticed in my Blackberry that all my appointments are purging out for the previous month. This is a very serious situation because I need to refer back to my calendar and look at past appointments. I checked my sync settings and I have it set that my phone overrides my Outlook calendar and on my phone I have it set to save appointments forever.

Dec 21, 2010I want to disable notifications from the calendar app - but the context menu is missing - nothing happens when I pust the menu button. A second symptom is that when the notifications appear, there are no buttons to snooze or dismiss.
The background is taht I have upgraded to android 2.1 and installed a few different calendar apps to get a better widget. I ended up with Gemini and uninstalled the other apps and widgets again.
