IPhone :: IPod 3.0 / Backlight Dims After 45 Seconds
I play music through the iPhone in my car.I'll hit play and cruise around;the backlight dims after 45 seconds of inactivity, but never fully goes off since it's plugged in to a power source.Since getting 3.0, the backlight comes back to full brightness after every new song begins, then dims again after 45 seconds into the song.On 2.xx it would stay dim until you touched the screen, regardless of playing song after song. Does anyone know if there's a way to disable this?
I would just press the sleep button but I have a passcode lock on and I really don't feel like entering it every time I want to change the playlist/artist/etc.Any input would be appreciated.

BB Curve 83xx :: Keyboard Backlight Dims But Will Not Turn Off?
I noticed yesterday that my battery was draining much faster than normal and when I was in low light conditions, when the LCD was off, the keyboard still glowed a VERY faint white. I did a hard reset to see if that would help - I've done it about six times and it still glows. However, just after the phone comes back on and the LCD goes dark, as long as I dont press any buttons the keyboard does not glow as I said before. I just did a soft reset and the keyboard is still glowing even though the handset is supposed to be OFF. I have played around with all of the settings on the Screen/Keyboard menu and nothing has helped. ALSO: I just popped off the trackball and the LED underneath it is still glowing (obviously cant tell if any others are since I cant take the cover off). This is driving me nuts! Has anyone else had this problem?

Once the back light dims after the 30 seconds, I press any key and it takes between 1 and 4 seconds for the display to return.I found that the display returns almost instantly when charging.this started when I upgraded to the new sprint 4.5..I have went back to the vendor theme, and same issue. I've also done bat pulls, and even free'd up more mem(37194319 Bytes free looking in status, 600mb free on media card) does anyone have a solution, or suggestions? I hope reinstalling the os isn't the only solution

IPhone 3GS :: Backlight On Incoming Call For Couple Seconds?
I just noticed this must have been happening since I got the phone, but noticed it now. If my device is locked and in standby (sleep mode) and I receieve incoming call the backlight goes on for couple seconds to show who it is then it shuts off and I got to hit the "Home button" to bring backlight on. If I do not lock my device and unlock it and I'm at the main screen and receive a incoming call my backlight stay active throughout the whole call if I let it ring. On my 3G if someone calls you and your device was locked your backlight would stay on until it gets transfered to voicemail or they hang up. Is this something new on iPhone3GS so far 2 iPhone3GS did this so Im guessing it is battery saver or something new in the iPhone3GS. Information: Gateway MD Series Windows Vista

Nokia :: 6600 Backlight Stay On For About 2 Seconds
I have a new 6600 slide, but am so frustrated that the backlight will only stay on for about 2 seconds. If I am not touching buttons, that is. It stays on when I am writing a text, but not otherwise, and when I say 2 seconds, I mean 2 seconds, literally. Tech support tried to ensure that the phone was not on any kind of power-saving setting, so that is not the problem; nobody, including the guys at the phone shop, could find out how to lengthen the staying-on time. Any ideas VERY gratefully received.

IPhone :: IPod With Phone In Pocket Skips Songs After A Couple Seconds
I haven't figured out why but when I have music playing while the phone is in my pocket, it seems to preview or skip songs after a couple seconds. Does it have something to do with my trouser snake messing with the touch screen? It makes that beeping noise when songs change the moment it's in my pocket. I thought the screen was finger touch sensitive. What's going on? How do I stop this?

It just dims out, dies and restarts -Took out the battery while the phone was ON waited 15 mins - Battery is fully charged - I have upgraded to the latest OS from my provider - I have taken out the only software I had downloaded - Turned off Data service - Took out SIM card. I don't want to have to get another phone. If it just stops restarting i'll be happy!

BB Storm 9530/9500 :: When Am Surfing The Net By Screen Dims Quickly
New to BB. I am on second unit, 8330 and now 9530, I am running ver .132 and like it better than the OS .75 but I am still trying to learn the Storm and one issue that I have is that when I am surfing the net by screen dims quickly. I have it set at 10 secs but I can not understand why screen should go black why using browser. Any fixes for it or do I have to increase dim level over a minute or so? BTW. I am kind of torn between the 8330 stability and the Storms bigger screen but coming from a Samsung I-760 wih windows 6.1 the BBs are way ahead even with the few issues everyone is complaining about.

Motorola :: K1m Reboots Every 22 Seconds / Locks Up For 16 Seconds
My Verizon KRZR K1m reboots every approx 22 seconds, then it flashes to a black screen for 1/2 sec, then the screen comes back and the phone is unresponsive for approx 15 seconds.(Note: During approx 6 seconds before the reboot the keypad and other buttons are fully functional.I can access contacts, menus, etc., but not make a call.)Then the entire cycle repeats until I either turn off the phone during 6 seconds that the phone is responsive, or remove the battery. The phone started doing this after attempting to take a photo and the phone locked up with an hour-glass icon on the display.I removed the battery and then the current problem started. I have received a FRU phone replacement; however, I need to retrieve some contact data from the old phone that was not backed up on my Motorola Phone Tools software (and I did not use vzw's back-up assistant). The tech at the local Verizon store was unable to get the data.Any suggestions?I already tried swapping the main boards from the old to the new phone and no luck.I have removed the battery over nite and tried different batteries as well.
