i'm having a serious problem here. I had to restore my Iphone since it crashed while updating, all is well and good now except for one thing. All of the apps I paid for are now gone, every time I go to see if I can reload them on the app store it asks me to repay for the app. Why should I have to repay for something I've already bought? Can anyone tell me if I can just get my old apps? I have the receipt in my e-mail.

This morning my while checking my email on my phone, the screen went black for 5 minutes, and eventually the apple logo appeared and when blank again, i then turned on my phone and it said i had to connect it to iTunes, which i did. When it was recognized on iTunes it said this:Name:iPhoneCapacity: n/aSoftware Version: n/aSerial Number: n/a
and said it had to be restored, which i agreed to and first it recovered, and then it asked if i wanted to restore it as an iPhone found on this computer, (mine) and i said yes. After it recovered i saw that i lost all of my text messages up until April 6th, and i lost well over 200 pictures. Is there anything i can do to restore my messages and photos, or do i take it up with my wireless provider?

IPhone :: Lost Purchased Music When Restored New 4S From Backup
I previously had the iphone 4 but yesterday I upgraded to the 4S. I got home and restore all the information from my phone into my itunes account. This way I could plug in my new phone and do a backup restore to get all the apps, contacts, music etc on my new phone. However, within the past two months I have purchased quite a bit of music on my phone through itunes. Since then I had not synced my phone to itunes so I did that yesterday when restoring it. When I plugged in the 4S and did the backup restore, I do not have the songs that I have purchased within the past two months on my phone or in my itunes account. How do I get these back?

If I replace my hard drive, and reinstall windows and other programs, including ITunes 8.0, how do I rebuild my library and applications from IPod Itouch? Fortunately I did a sync just hours before it crashed and ITouch has all my music, apps and pictures on it. Can the ITouch rebuild the library back to the new hard drive?
IPhone :: Restored The Software - Losing All My Apps?
Anyone going thru this with me? My iphone 4 has been shutting down. I updated the software, which was supposed to address the issue. Didn't help. I have done multiple hard resets and restored the software, losing all my apps ( which really annoys me). I think it is a software issue and something to do with iCloud too. I've noticed that on my home screen, the battery icon is not showing green at all. But if I go to one of the icons, say Messages, then correct battery amount shows up. If I do a restore to the computer, the home screen shows correct battery life. If I restore to iCloud, the battery is showing as dead on the home screen.
Apple would you please fix this??? I'm in New Zealand, I have to pay to have this fixed at a store, and I'm not convinced they will be able to fix it until Apple fixes the bug. But what would you do, people?

I lost the ability to send MMS through texting so I restored it the iPhone and restoring the back up. The function returned to the iPhone, but when I restored from the back up I lost the ability. Generally, the phone was acting funny. Now that Restored it and just reauthorized for loading music from my library the apps I paid for won't load. I check the box and hit sync, but it removed it and unchecks the box.

BB Bold 9700 :: Lost All Contacts And Cannot Be Restored?
I have the bold 9700 V5.0.0.321 I had all my contacts duplicated due to sync of my phone with the gmail.on one the contact it duplicate about 10 names and when i tried to delete one of them it deleted everyone of those names. I found out (maybe the wrong way) that you go to the address book press Options -> then press R S E T -> which deleted all of my contacts in the address book and now I cant restore it back. Every time I input the data names and numbers it wont save it. I had the back up but it says the DM doesn't recognise the data. Is there anyone that can help me on how to put my contacts back into my phone.

I updated the firmware of my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 yesterday. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?
BB Curve 8300 :: FW Upgrade 4.5 Crashed Updated Lost Contacts Messages?
I was upgrading the firmware on a colleagues 8300, it crashed with a fatal error. It must have reached a stage where it had upgraded and was about to copy the original data back in because all user information is blank. i know it backs it up when it upgrades the firmware i need to know is there a way to manually restore this backup. i had run the same process on my own 8300 no problem but unfortunately my colleague has never backed his up using the desktop application so he's lost everything.
Nokia Nseries :: Restored Apps Not Showing In Application Manager?
I did a partial restore using the Nokia Suite, selecting only the "Device settings an applications" content (I wanted to restore a theme that I wasn't able to download again without purchasing a second time). The restoral was successful and I have the theme back. The problem is that several other themes that I no longer want were also put back on my N8. I go to Settings>Application manager>Installed apps, however none of the restored themes are listed (they are all taking up Device Memory). how I can delete these items from my phone and thus free up the memory they are occupying?
BB Storm2 9550/9520 :: Restored Data From 8520 But Apps Gone
I just got a 9520 from eBay.de. I own a 8520 also which I love but the internet experience on that device is not too great, it works well, but the screen is kinda small. So I got a brand new 9520 which runs OS 5.0.0.306.All good, it has some features that are better than the 8520 but I have some things that start to work on my nerves too : First of all, the back up. I restored my data from the 8520 via the Mac Desktop Manager, worked great, but the apps aren't there. I can understand that it has to do with copyright but still I think it was not too cool...I need to download them all over, and maybe purchase some too, I am fine with paying for it, but it would have been nice if they were all on the device... Second, it seems that the available software for the Storm 2 is very limited. I apologize if I did not search this site too well, but I am still busy since last night in setting the darn thing up, so I did not have the time to look for all what there is available. What I did find was that I cannot seem to install the Opera 5 beta, and also the Google Mobile app is gone, I guess it is not compatible with the Storm 2?When I surf to the m.google.com/next site it shows up on the 8520, not the 9520.So these apps that I use on a regular basis are not available, which is totally not cool! Btw, if someone could mail me the .jad file for Opera 5 beta, please get in touch my new pin is 310D8B93. Typing on the Storm 2 is not too easy, but I guess I will get better over time.Hardware wise : The screen is so beautiful, I love it! The OS looks crisp and sharp and slick! Nokia :: 6300 - Phone Crashed On Receiving Pics Via Bluetooth / Lost All My Pics
I owned a Nokia 6300 last year, but after a few months it crashed whilst receiving some pics via bluetooth. When I tried to turn it on I got the blue flash at the side, the vibration, the Nokia hands, then the black and white flashing screen. I took this back to where it was brought, and they gave me a new one, but was still unhappy as I'd lost all my pics. A year late and the same has happened again. I dont know what to do as there are pics of my son which If I lost would be heartbroken. Why the hell can't the phone cope with simple file transfers?
I have a 9700 have had it about 7 months with any problems UNTIL about 3 days ago. I noticed my Blackberry Messenger, Yahoo EMAIL, and Facebook applications are no longer connecting. My Blackberry browser is still working. I used to have FireFox and EI as options and since I updated my phone, they have since been erased.
Ive Updated, Ive swiped, Ive returned everything to factory settings. Ive deleted and reloaded all the apps along with replacing my sim card.

I've lost all of the ios 5 apps -- settings, weather, contacts, phone, messaging, safari, etc -- on my phone. I tried the "search iphone" to the left, but found nothing. I can receive texts, but when I swipe the screen to read it I get this response, "this url wasn't loaded: sms:/open?groupid=655". Also, I can receive calls, but am not able to place calls. When I sync to itunes the apps/icons still don't show up. I've looked through all the folders & found nothing outta place.
IPhone :: Apps Deleted / Lost After New Mac
I just got a new iMac and went to sync my iPhone. All my apps were deleted. I've gone to File<Transfer Purchases and that just transfers the songs that I've purchased through iTunes. I've also authorized this computer. I'm signed in to the same account that I was when I purchased the apps. I know that I can go through the apps on iPhone or through iTunes and download them again, but I'd prefer not to pay for them again! I got a message saying that I would be debited for the purchase. The only other left thing for me to try it to sync the iPhone back to my Macbook laptop and see if that restores the apps. Any other suggestions or ideas for me to try?

I have an iphone 3gs, i got it yesterday and have proceded to fill it full of apps lol and weblinks(love you can make them little icons!So far i love the phone but theres a problem, i cant add any more apps now i have only used 2gigs of apps and 1gig of music and 230meg of other (no idea what..the os maybe?) now as i added apps it added little dots at the bottom but after 11 it just wont add any more! i have hunted everywhere in the settings .so far i have only added free apps but theres a load i plan to buy and i cant if they wont install!

I recentlty tried to reboot my phone which had froze for some odd reason and it got stuck in recovery mode. I then had to restore to get it operational again. This in turn led me to losing all my recently purchased apps and music (just under $20 worth). Non of them are in my itunes library but I still have receipts and they are all listed in my purchase history. Is there any way I can recover what I lost?
