IPhone :: Stuck In Emergency Call Mode
The iphone i got was unlocked, and worked fine. Then I restored the factory settings, using the 1 hour reset, and connected it to itunes and clicked "restore" to try and make something work. Instead now it does not sync to itunes, getting a error, or nothing at all. And when I turn it on, it is stuck in emergency call mode, and I cannot do anything.
I have tried to put it in DFU mode to unlock it again, but its not working.
I am not sure what to do, is there a manual way I can put a different firmware on? Or any other way to jail break and unlock it other than Pwnage?

IPhone :: On Emergency Call Screen
I bought a 3G from the US, which came locked of course. It's on the emergency call screen. The phone was running 4.0.1 as I was told by the seller. I've tried Redsn0w but using 4.0 as all the tutorials state, no dice. I've tried making a 4.0 firmware in pwnage tool, no dice, iTunes doesn't like me going backwards on the firmware builds. What are my options? Even if I could get the past activation I could log into safari and get wireless and then go to the unlock website in safari.

My friend got a 2G iphone and have jailbreak and unlock, he is on tmobile; he said, "he use it for last weekend fine, but yesterday after he plug it to the computer, it now only show the screen for emergency call only? I suspect he accidentally upgrade his iphone to 3.0 and he don't know, so are there anyway to fix this problem?

I ran Redsnow and pointed to iphone 1,2 restore and everything went fine but when it restarted it went back to emergency call screen. I want to get this iphone up and running with a tmobile card that I bought to start with and go from there. Is there a way now? before I ran redsnow iboot was 596.24....what do I try now I think I have all on my desktop red ultra etc.

Nokia :: N85 - Dialling Emergency Call Instead Of Voicemail Call
I am very pleased with my N85. Only issue I got by now is that even though at SIM Card Voicemail number is already defined (190), when I call to this number then the phone calls to emergency number (112). I used same SIM Card with my previous N78 and had no issues with voice mail number. Any ideas what can be going wrong? Both phones are based on same software platform.

IPhone :: Only Itunes Image And Emergency Call Screen?
I recently updated my unlocked/jailbroken 2g phone to 3.0 and then ran it through redsnow to unlock etc after the itunes update, and now it just gives me the connect to itunes image and emergency call screen. I can make, receive calls and receive text messages but thats it. I have tried many many different methods inc. restoring (alt + shift) in itunes and still nothing inc. Sim card not recognised message. I'm using a mac with OS Leopard (10.5.6), Itunes 8.2.

LG :: VX5200 How To Get Phone Into Emergency Mode?
I was just wondering if anyone has figured out how to get this phone into Emergency Mode? Ive been searching the forum for the past couple days and read that pressing 5 + power button to start it up brings other LG phones into that mode but it doesnt seem to work with this model phone. As stated in other threads it doesnt do anything on this model phone and then you are unable to even turn the phone back on unless you take out the battery and reinsert it. What Im trying to do is flash the phone in that mode as I have managed to mess mine up somehow and now its stuck in a reset loop turning on and off continously until it either dies or I take the battery out.

Anyone figured out how to put the VX9900 with later firmware in Emergency Mode (5 & PWR key does't work so please do say "already post" or link me to an old thread) I've searched this site and many others with no luck there must be a way to put this phone in Emergency Mode maybe by test points or something THANKS in advance for the help. LG :: Emergency Mode On Fully Bricked Voyager
The only hard part getting your hands on a working voyager. Open LGNPST, with working voyager connected. as soon as you see it list the the device (dont wait 'til it loads all data) disconnect data cable from working voyager and immediately plug intio your bricked one while holding the sliding lock down. After doing this once emergency mode will forever work.(at least til you brick your phone again, lol) I havent tried using othe lg models to atart up connectiion, in case you cant locate another voyager.

So I have always put my phone on lock mode when putting it in my pocket. This morning has made me think twice about that. I had two police officers come to my house because they stated I called 911. I looked at my outgoing calls and showed no calls. So apparently I called out to an emergency # when it was on lock mode, but it doesn't show you that you did on your call list.So my question is, does standby mode prevent you from making emergency calls too?

Anyone know how to get the Samsung Glyde into Emergency/Bootloader mode? I can tell you right now, it's definitely NOT Power + 5 ["T"]. I can't find the answer anywhere and I'm getting desperate. The Glyde I have is stuck in the boot cycle loop: Every time at start up, the progress bar fills, then the phone resets itself and starts the progress bar all over again.

When I put my phone on charger at night it enters bedside mode. Currently I have it set to silent for all. However, I would like two things to get through. Berry weather advisory, and phone calls from one or two contacts. I don't want phone only because I don't want to be woke up by just anybody but I would like for one or two people to be able to get through in case of a emergency.
