IPhone :: Old Calendar Entries Disappear

I use the calendar on both the iPhone and iCal on Mac OS X and have them synced. This works fine except for one thing. Old calendar entries (over a month ago) are deleted when I sync. There is an option to do this automatically in iCal on Mac OS (it is disabled) I assume a similar option is enabled on the iPhone and they disappear when I sync because they are deleted from the iPhone version. how I disable this on the iPhone?

IPhone :: Calendar Disappear After 30 Days
I have calendars that sync to my computer and calendars that sync to my icloud, calendar entries that i have set to the icloud calendar disappear after 30 days. Is there somewhere I can change this setting? I like to search my phone to find the last time "something" happened, usually something that I track in the calendar. I can't find how to retrieve these missing items back to my phone.

Info:iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1, only items on icloud calendar gone

IPhone :: Outlook Appointments Disappear From Calendar?
I have a reoccurring problem with appointments that are set in Outlook that will appear immediately on my iPhone calendar, but when I check back later sometimes the event has been deleted from my iPhone calendar but not from my Outlook calendar. It's driving me mad. Some of the times it does this is when I send an invite through outlook for an event to another user. The event will appear on my iPhone calendar but once the other person accepts my event invitation it will disappear from my iPhone calendar, but remain on my Outlook calendar. It doesn't do this everytime, but seems to be when I notice this happening the most.

On my phone settings I have the outlook calendar set as my default calendar. My iPhone is also synched with two gmail accounts a Hotmail and an icloud account. The only calendars I actually use however are my Outlook and the the iPhone calendar.

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1

BB Pearl 8100 :: Move Calendar Entries From Device Calendar On 8220
I am having problems getting my outlook calendar to sync with my pearl 8220 and I have figured out why but can't fix it. It is because I now have multiple calendars associated with multiple emails. Also I disassociated from an old account which put most of my device calendar entries into the "default device" calendar and these are not syncing to outlook. I found the solution document KB19240 and solution 1 looks like it would work for me but it says to type "MOVE" while in the calendar options and this doesn't do anything (how can one type when there is nowhere to type??).Am I misunderstanding the instructions?? Does it not work for a Pearl because of the typing method? How do I move the default device calendar items to my default calendar in the blackberry so that they will sync to outlook?

BB (RIM) :: How To Keep Current Month Calendar Entries - Not Delete From Laptop's Outlook Calendar
I have my calendar set to keep 1 or two months of appointments. I miss the palm being able to keep as many records as I like, but oh well...My question: I am ok with just keeping a month or two of appointments or calendar items, but when I sync the BB to Outlook, is there anyway of preventing the events that are being purged from the device from being removed from Outlook? It seems that if I accept the sync changes which are to remove items from BB and also Outlook (I believe it says if I accept it will remove from my outlook calendar) it will be deleted from my desktop Outlook calendar. I would like to retain all my appointments for record on Outlook calendar.

IPhone ::sync To Outlook - Will My Calendar Appointments Disappear
Just upgraded to Outlook 2007 from useless Windows Mail, and I am worried about syncing my phone to the Outlook calendar. Will my iPhone appointments be erased when I sync it to my empty Outlook calendar? I have the most current version of the iPhone OS, itunes, etc. I just don't want to lose everything from the calendar on my iPhone, but I would really like to have the two calendars synced (through USB).

IPhone :: Contacts And Calendar Items Disappear When Exchange Server Is Off
I've been having this problem for a few weeks now and it's most frustrating. My iphone is setup to sync over the air to our corporate exchange server. It seems that when the server is down for repair/patching ALL my contacts and calendar items disappear from my iphone. This doesn't seem to happen if the phone is out of signal?

I know that I can sync directly with Outlook, however this would then mean that the phone is only updated when synced with my laptop at work. If I sync both over the air AND with Outlook, I get duplicates of everything in my calendar.

I'm not restoring my iphone to factory defaults to get rid of the duplicates and go back to over the air sync only.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get calendar and contacts to work "offline" when the exchange server is down?

Main PC is running Windows 7 and exchange is 2007. This problem is only recent, I think in the last month of two. Nothing has changed other than the last few firmware updates from Apple.

IPhone :: Contacts - Email - And Calendar Disappear When Exchange Server Is Down
We had to shut down our exchange server for maintenance this morning. I noticed that all email, contacts, and calendar on my 3GS disappeared. When the server restarted everything came back. Is there a setting on the iPhone or Exchange server (2003) that allows it to work in offline mode when the exchange server is unavailable?

IPhone :: Calendar Is Missing Entries?
I currently owned a iPhone 3G but just recently purchased a iPhone 4s. I updated my new phone and after checking all of my info was updated onto my new phone. The next day I went to go look up a entry in my calendar and discovered all of my entries before march were not there. I know that they were when I updated my iPhone the night before. So since, I've tried manually entering all my old entries but when I do and get out of my calendar it disappears! This is extremely fustrating and important that I can enter all the old entries.

IPhone :: Method For Backing Up Calendar Entries
I have a number of entries stored on the Calender app that comes on the iPhone. I was wondering, are the various calender entries backed up by iTunes everytime I sync the iPhone. If they are where on the PC are they stored (its just I like to backup important stuff like this, iTunes library etc, in case something goes wrong so that I then have a backup to fall back on). If the various calender entries I have are not backed up has part of the sync in iTunes. Is it possible to have these backed up by some other method.

IPhone :: IP4 Calendar Entries Get Duplicated For All Day Events
A new one, I have an iPhone 4 which is duplicating all day events for no reason. You can delete one of the events and then it promptly shows up again. The other two all day events for the same item can not be edited or deleted. They originally where doing the same thing on the Mac but I resolved that by following Apple's support info on deleting the cache and resetting sync history. The Mac shows the correct calendar info just the iPhone is doing the duplicates. I've removed the iPhone calendar and then added it back to the iPhone to have the same thing happen. I've also copied all calendar info to a new calendar, removed the old one from iCal and the phone and synced the new one to have the same thing happen again. I am not using Mobile Me, never have and don't have an account so it's not that.

IPhone :: How Does One Delete All (remove All, Purge All) Entries In The Calendar?
Sync'ing my Outlook 2003 with the iPhone 3G has been extremely frustrating. The results have been inconsistent with missing data, wrong calendars selected, duplicate entries, etc. After numerous iterations the calendar on my iPhone 3G had tons of entries. I "simply" then wanted to purge them all. I couldn't find any such specific option on the iPhone to do so and tried deleting everything in Outlook and resync'ing, but to no avail. The entries on the iPhone remained. There MUST be some way of deleting them all without selecting/deleting them one at a time, if not from the present software, then at least a patch or "quick-and-dirty" utility/application?!?!?! Ultimately, I resorted to doing a full reset of the iPhone, but of course that removed EVERYTHING. PLEASE APPLE! HELP! If you lack the resources, then at least publish the storage/API details so that someone else can come up with a solution.

IPhone :: When Select All Contacts / Calendar Get Duplicate Entries
My iPhone 3G recently broke and my insure gave me the money to go out and buy a 3GS. I synced my new 3GS with iTunes which recognised my last iPhone backup and restored my 3GS with this however I now have two groups in my calendar and contacts, one is 'On My iPhone' and one is 'Mobile Me'. This means that when I select all contacts or all calendars I get duplicate entries as it reads from both groups.

On my 3G that broke I didn't have any groups, I just displayed all contacts. What can I do to change this or is this something to do with the 3GS?
