My 4 year old got a hold of my iPhone 4S without my permission to play a game and delete the mail app from the phone. I cannot for the life of me figure out where to go to restore it without restoring the phone back to factory settings. Is this what I need to do or is there some other way to get it back on the phone?

So I lost some mail when I was cleaning up my iPhone, thinking that the mail was already on the Mac, as it is whenever I log on. Lo and behold, I lost some three months of mail! What to do? I use Webmail from Time Warner Cable (RoadRunner) for my e-mail. I deleted notes and emails from my mac mail program on my mac air not knowing that it would delete the notes from my iOS devices. I forwarded the deleted notes from the trash to my icloud email thinking it would synch back to my iphone and touch but it doesn't seem to be adding them to my devices.
