IPhone :: Jawbone Bluetooth Turns Itself On And Off Without Warning?
I have been an iPhone user for about 3 months. I have a jawbone and a handsfree bluetooth in my Infiniti. Up until the last week, I haven't really had many problems. Now I get a lot of static on both. The most irritating issue is that the jawbone turns itself on and off without warning. At times, it won't even allow me to turn it off. Any idea of it's cause?

IPhone :: 4 Bluetooth Will Not Pair With Jawbone Icon
Just got my iPhone today and am more or less thrilled to have it. The only problem (other than the antenna issue, which the bumper fixes beautifully) is that Bluetooth will not pair with any of my Bluetooth devices. When I turn on Bluetooth on the phone and turn on the headset, iPhone says it's "searching.." and "now discoverable" but it never discovers anything, let alone pair up. The Bluetooth on my MacBook recognized the iPhone and I was able to pair them, but no luck on the Jawbones. Sounds like a JB problem, but I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem and if there's a fix via the iPhone.

IPhone :: IOS4 3GS Ringtone Sounds In Bluetooth Jawbone Icon Earpiece
I have an iPhone 3GS running iOS4 with a Jawbone Icon running the Jawbone (not A2DP) software. The default behavior of this setup is to have the phone ring, and the Jawbone reads the phone number into my ear, that is all. When I upgraded to OS4, the Jawbone still reads the number into my ear, but the ringtone now blares into the earpiece as well.

Terribly annoying, and it makes it difficult to hear the caller's number. I've read elsewhere that this might be a "feature" but I think I'm more in the "bug" camp. Is there any way to fix this? I've already reset the phone, the Jawbone, and forgotten and re-paired several times.

BB Bold 9000 :: Background Noise During Call
I bought a new Bold last week from Atnt after a lot of confusion over iphone and Bold.I had following q's:

1. Was that a good choice over iphone?

2. I realized that I have problems of a background hiss/noise constantly interfering when i make calls almost over any phone. Is that a "known" problem with bold? Or specific to my device?

Any answers on #2 especially would help me doing an exchange if its a problem.

LG :: Background Noise When Calling With 8550 Chocolate?
I have enjoyed my new VX8550 with Verizon (besides the really touchy scroll wheel--any way to disable it and just use the direction keys?) but I'm having a problem with my calls:It seems to be picking up too much ambient noise and spits it back into my ear and the ear of the person I'm calling. This is causing a buzz/whir/the sound of the ocean while I'm making a call. Occasionally this doesn't happen, but most of the time it does. It seems to be a product of my phone and not the connection. Is there any way to improve this? Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Nokia Lumia :: White Background Noise Using Headphone?
Have been using my lumia 900 for a month. I noticed that there is a white/hissing noise in the background from the phone when listening to music using headphones. It starts right before the music starts to play and stops some seconds after pausing music. There is also a click sound in between songs. I can definitely confirm this is not from music files. If I plug headphones in and unlock the phone when not playing any music, I can hear the white background noise for a few seconds before it goes off. I've seen several posts reporting on the same issue from both lumia 800 and 900 (search white noise in the forum). It is very annoying! In addition, the volume buttons on my lumia 900 don't always work when screen is off, which has also been seen by many users. I'd say listening to music from headphones using lumia 900 is a bad experience due to these issues. I like lumia's design and overall it is a great phone. But these bugs disappoint me a lot.

Samsung :: SCHU 620 And Jawbone Bluetooth
I have a new SCH-U620 Slider and working on my 2nd Jawbone headset. I keep having wierd problems. I can't tell if it is the headset and an incompatability or the actual phone? If I am on the headset - I have a little tunneling and staticy sound. But the wierd thing is that the other person hearing me? Gets feedback. If I switch from the headset to the handset and then back again, it seems to go away?!? The first time? I replaced the headset with a new one. When I spoke with Verizon they seemed to think that since bouncing back and forth from headset to handset altered the problem it had to be a headset issue (because when I am on the handset there is no problem).

My problem is could it be the Samsung bluetooth capabilities and they keep pointing to the headset as the problem because it is easy? I am a little clueless at this point on how to problem solve this or what to believe.

BB Pearl 8100 :: Constant Background Noise Fuzzy / Static / Buzz?
so I recently purchased a new BB Pearl 8110 through AT&T, and after 36 hours of using it, it had a constant background noise during ALL my calls. It could be minimized *some* by turning down the volume. However, it is always present, but the call clarity is fine. I have tried my husband's phone (Moto razr) and there is nothing background-wise on his phone, same carrier. So, we went back to AT&T and exchanged for a new phone, new battery whole box etc. SAME THING is going on still with a constant background noise during all calls. Sounds like low-level static.. similar to when you used to get out of range with cordless phones in your home. Reminds me of talking on a walkie-talkie after you let go of the side switch and hear the static. only much softer yet enough to drive me nuts during my calls.Any suggestions? This is the 2nd phone from AT&T and they are willing to try another phone, but I don't really want to re-exchange again in 2 days if there is something that might fix this first? Also, if I exchange again and have the same problem there is no way I will remain a BB customer with the pearl because I can't justify $200 for a phone that won't have clear reception. well clear whatever it is - background noise etc. My husband has an iphone incoming and a razr currently. so I was hoping to get a nice phone - the BB Pearl really caught my eye.

BB Bold 9000 :: Pairing New Jawbone Bluetooth Headset
A new one here. I recently got Blackberry Bold and have been trying to pair it with my New Jawbone bluetooth headset. It continually tells me that no device is found. I have tried everything.resetting the Jawbone, everything. I went to the Jawbone website and the Bold was not listed under compatible devices. I found this kind of hard to believe, so I emailed Jawbone tech support on Monday and have not had a response back. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can try or do?

Samsung :: U740 - Phone Compatibility With Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth?

The second time (and all successive), the microphone did not pick up anything? I reset the Jawbone, and the same thing happened. First try works great, second time and all successive, the microphone does not work. Even voice dial does not work, which makes me think the phone is not receiving the voice signal. What can I do? Anyone else had this problem?

IPhone :: Distortion With Bluetooth / Noise Cancellation?
I've had trouble with all three iphones using a bluetooth headset (Jabra BT530). While sometimes the sound is fine, usually I get complaints about distortion.Could be any number of things and I've seen others say they have trouble with their headsets, but I was just thinking today that maybe the noise cancellation is part of the issue, especially since the headset I have also has noise cancellation (I think). Also possibly related, sometimes people tell me I have distortion using the phone regularly, just not as often. Could noise cancellation be messed up and causing this too? Had it at least some on all three as well.

Just got the 6500 Slide Sim Free 2 days ago and have been going though setting it up to my preferences. I know the headset if fine as I've been using it for the past 18 months with my N80 with no problems at all. Is anyone else having similar problems, does it warrant me taking it back to the shop for a replacement or is it a software issue that will get rectified in a future update.

IPhone :: N95 Plantronics Bluetooth Headset / Make Calls / Its Horrid Static / Lots Of Noise / Calls Cut In And Out
I have two phones, one being a BB and the other an iPhone 3GS with FW3.1. I bought a Plantronics 975 Bluetooth headset. Had no problems using the multipoint pairing option to pair with both phones. Here's where the problem comes in.When making calls with the BB + 975, it's fine. No noise. When making calls with the iPhone + 975, it's horrid. Static, lots of noise and calls cut in and out. Obviously, since the headset works fine with the BB (and with other phones - Motorola and Palm - I've tested on) I'm confident I can conclude it's the iPhone itself that presents the problem.

I contacted Plantronics tech support and they state:"The iPhone is known to exhibit a higher level of acoustic distortion through BT v2.1+EDR headsets like the Discovery 975 than is experienced by users of phones from other manufacturers. Updating to Apple FW 3.0 improves the issue to some degree but does not eliminate the distortion completely."So am I completely screwed here? Has anyone else experience similar problems? Were you able to find a solution? BTW, my iPhone 3GS is less than a week old and working properly.

IPhone :: Jawbone Vs Apple BT?
So after my old plantronics headset got destroyed thanks to my dogs, and I find myself with $100 to blow thanks to Apple, I'm in the market for a new headset. I'm torn between the Jawbone and the Apple headset. I love Apple's design, but I've heard some complaints about it being comfortable. My other option is the Jawbone. The noise cancelation would be amazing, but I've read that some people find the ear loop doesn't fare too well in a pocket.

IPhone :: 3G Network Blocks 4S Internet And Calls (iOS 5.1)
Very often my Iphone 4s (with full coverage and 3G signal correctly dispalyed) loose connection to the internet, then it continues to look for 3g connection for a long time with no joy (so it never switches automatically to Edge...) and by then it can't do calls (if I try calls ends immediately...) neither sends sms.It stays blocked, restarting sometimes doesn't work, the only solution I've found so far is to witch off/on the 3G function. After that off/on, iPhone starts immediately to work fine again, in 3G modality too.I'm not 100% sure, but I noticed this problem only after updgraded to iOS 5.1.Any way to figure it out without disabling/enabling 3G all the time?
