IPhone :: How Do You Receive Meeting Requests?

I have been having the hardest time trying to figure out how in the hell I can receive meeting requests that end up on my Calendar. I called up Apple iphone support and they're also clueless. What I'm trying to do:

1. Have an appointment / meeting request sent to my MobileMe via Outlook 03-07.

2. I'm expecting to receive an email on my iPhone and MobileMe, asking me if I would like to Accept or Decline the meeting.

3. If I "ACCEPT" the meeting I expect it to go into my iPhone Calendar and MobileMe Calendar.

What's happening:

1. Appointment sent out from Outlook to

2. Email/Appointment is Pushed to iPhone.

3. I open the email/appointment and it only has the Subject and an attachment called "meeting.ics"

4. I tap on the attachment icon, and nothing. I keep my finger pressed on the icon, and it's asking me if I want to save the image. WTF?

5. I look at my iPhone Calendar and no appointment in there.

What's happening on the MobileMe Website:

1. Appointment sent out from Outlook to

2. Email received at MobileMe, with Subject, Location, Date, and Time, but no "ACCEPT / DENY" option

3. Appointment is not on my MobileMe Calendar either.

I'm on the phone again with Apple. they're escalating my issue to a MobileMe Specialist.Any of you guys have a clue or idea, on whats happening?

IPhone :: Outlook Appointments Show Up As Meeting Requests On 3G
If I create an appointment in Outlook, it shows up in my iPhone calendar as a meeting request. When the reminder goes off, it forces me to choose between "Accept," "Maybe," and "Decline." If I accept, it sends me an email. If I create the same appointment on the iPhone, it behaves like an appointment should. This doesn't happen with my Blackberry, so I don't think it is an Outlook or Exchange server issue. How do get the iPhone to work correctly?

BB Bold 9000 :: BES Meeting Requests
I've reacently been granted access to our companies BES server, wow the full power of blackberries comes into light when you turn this on. Emails answered quicker, every moment spare is a moment to read/write emails.. I've been so much more productive. Anyhow...

One thing I've noticed is that when I'm sent a meeting request, I obviously receive it in my outlook, but I don't get it on my Bold. If I accept in outlook, it updates in the bold calendar fine, I'm just not receiveing them on my Bold..

BB Bold 9000 :: Meeting Requests Without Outlook
My wife and I both purchased new Storms from Verizon. She uses hotmail for her email and I use Yahoo. Neither of us use Outlook or sync our phones to a computer. We have no real desire to start. However, we would like to take full advantage of the calendaring feature of BB. My goal is to send meeting requests back and forth to keep out family life in order.

So far I have been unsuccessful. I have sent her a few meeting requests. When I look in my Yahoo sent folder on the web, I see text in the message that I assume will create a button on her BB to accept or reject the request. On her BB, she see nothing but the text of the meeting name with no button to click for accept or decline.

Any thoughts on what I can do to make this work without incurring additional monthly services or buying additional software?

BB (RIM) :: 8100 Impossible To Specify Which Email Account Meeting Requests Are Sent From?
I have done many searches on multiple forums and I have come to the conclusion that it is impossible, but that just doesn't seem like it could be correct. I mean BB's are so Email-centric and Business-centric, how could such a basic and commonly used feature be missed? What I am refering to is when I create a appt and then "invite attendee" they always get sent by the same Email account (not the default account) and there is no way to change this.I tried deleting the account that they always get sent from and they then get sent from the account I want them to go from, but as soon as I re-add the account they were getting sent from it again starts sending them from that secondary account.

Based on my searches it appears that everyones BB randomly picks one of your accounts and then will always send from that account and there is absolutely nothing anyone can do about it, but I am really hoping someone has figured out a fix for this.BTW I am on BIS using a 8100.

IPhone :: Not Accepting Meeting Invitations On 4?
I am seeing a problem when accepting Meeting Invitations on my iPhone or vice versa on my iPad.I get a meeting invitation on both devices. If I accept them on my iPhone they still show on my iPad as I have not accepted them yet. This can go in the other direction too.if I accepted them on my iPad first and they still show as not accepted on my iPhone. But, the weird thing is on the device I just accepted them on and in my Outlook calendar on my desktop they show up correctly (just not on the second device).

The other funny and weird part is if I go to accept them after the first time on say my iPhone (so, now I go to accept them on the iPad because they still show as not accepted on this device) and now I accept them on the iPad it will accept the meeting invitations are sent back to my iPhone as not accepted. I can keep going back and forth with this. If I go back to my iPhone to accept them, then they show back up on my iPad (with red circle notification of x number over calendar app) as not accepted or like they are new invitations. So, I can can going back and forth with this and one device will always show that I have meeting invitations waiting to be accepted when I have already accepted them on one device.p.s. I have the latest iOS software on my iPhone 4 and iPad 2. This happened with 4.x iOS software too.

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1, same on iPad 2 with iOS 5.1

IPhone :: Accept Invitation / Numerous Accepts To Meeting Organizer
I looked around but couldn't locate any posting with this issue.I have my iphone setup with my work exchange server, I am pushing (manually) email and calendar. This past weekend someone setup a meeting in Outlook and I was invited, I got an invitation notification on my phone, I clicked Accept.

The meeting organizer emailed me later saying that my iphone was 'freaking out' and send numerous (I think he exaggerated with 30)to the same invitation. He then tried to cancel the invite just for me to stop the accept responses coming in. Today he emailed saying he is still getting responses from me and to please disable the app.

I'd rather not disable this 'app' (I guess he means turn off the calendar), I use the calendar for work and personal. I went in and did turn off notifications for invitations.Has anyone heard of or experienced this? Advise? I'd like to continue to use the calendar and will certainly not be accepting anymore invitations on the phone for the time being. I hope that turning off the notifications might stop the accept emails being sent
