if i were to go out tomorrow and walk into at&t and buy an iphone 4, how does that work now with the new "free bumpers"??? like on apple.com its saying they are currently unavailable, and that something would be up soon- but i dont think i will want to really take it out and use it to its full potential without the protection. so i was just wondering if anyone knew how that works now? does at&t have bumpers to give out with the phone and if not how and when do you get one??? I'm assuming it will be available tomorrow during preorder in which i'll buy being that there's not many (if any) cases out there and I can't imagine having a naked iPhone. I don't remember them saying in the keynote on the material? it looks of hard plastic, then again it looks rubberish? did anyone catch that during the keynote because I don't remember them talking about the material? does anyone know of any cases out yet? I would think not being the makers probably need an iPhone 4 body to work with making cases. Google brought up nothing. Is your bumper case is loose and clicking power button drives you? here is the solution: just simply boil your bumper case in water for 3mins now put back your snug beautiful case on iphone 4 and enjoy. EDIT: just a tip. if the case floats, thats the sign remove it.

I was listening to TWiT today and Leo mentioned that Sarah Lane got a white bumper case today and it looked more gray than white. Like it was a bit dirty. Does it get dirty every time you put it in your pocket? Is it more gray than white? You happy with the color choice overall?

For all you iphone users, how long did it take for your free bumper case to arrive? My phone is butt naked and im freaking out whenever people oggle it. The iphone bumper app said it would take 1-3 weeks for the case that I want to ship out.

IPhone :: Fastest Way To Get Bumper Case?
I've called around to all the nearby Apple stores and checked with my local AT&T store, no one has the bumpers in stock. Do you guys think I'll have luck within the next couple of days if I check with the stores each morning? Ordering on Apple.com has a 5-7 day wait and I'm hoping not to have to wait that long, because I am having some antenna issues and I'm deathly afraid of dropping the thing.

IPhone :: Reception With A Bumper / Case?
I have had a griffin reveal case on since day one, so the death grip really has meant nothing to me. My findings so far is that it gets far worse reception and dropped calls than my 3GS. In fact, living in miami where ATT signal is strong, I never had any problems with dropped calls on my 3GS. I also have the proximity sensor issue and am wondering if I just received a bad phone.

Never informed about limited time to order free bumper case for my iphone 4 to solve their design flaw. Went to order the bumper and informed past 30 days not eligible. I have 4 personal apple computers 5 iphones on my plan and 7 apple computers for my business and I am told past thirty days tuff luck. I can get my email box filled with emails about new products, but never received an email telling me to order within 30 days or its your problem. nothing they can do about it. Really disappointed in Apple. Shakes my faith in Apple. Information:

I know it was announced that owners of the iPhone 4 can get a free bumper (or other case listed by Apple) but I recall it mentioned that the owner will have to go to a page to get a "coupon" for it (like we did when there was the $100 refund for original iPhone early adopters). My question is, how does one find this info (steps to take) to get the free bumper or case? I have looked and don't see anything clear on it. This is more of an FYI for those concerned by the estimated delivery dates for the free cases. I wouldn't take much notice of expected dispatch dates for the cases. I ordered mine on Friday and received an email telling me it was due for dispatch. Barely two days later I've had an email saying the case has been dispatched. This has been my past experience of the Apple Store. I'm told a date a few weeks off and then it gets delivered much sooner. Apple, for getting these cases out the door as quick as possible. With millions to be given away I was quite prepared for a wait of a month or so. To know it's been dispatched within two days is beyond my expectations. Hope many of you have a similar experience and the delivery date changes to a much earlier one. Information: iPhone 4 iOS 4

IPhone :: Bumper Case Doesn't Allow Chargers
I went and got a bumper case from my local apple store overall i actually like it a lot but there is one really frustrating problem. The only usb / charger cable that seems to fit into the dock port with the bumper case on is the apple one. I have a couple aftermarket usb cables tha ti use to charge it (one at work and a couple at home and one in my car) they all have just a slightly larger head on them than the stock apple one and will not fit into the dock port with the bumper case on. so is there something out there that is similar to or better than the bumper case which will free up my dock connector?

I received my free bumper (strange my fingers and computer have tried to spell this 'bumber' twice now). I have found after fitting the case that accessories supplied by Apple for the 3G and Ipod touch don't fit the Iphone 4 with the case fitted. These include charging cables, USB cables and in car charger. Most of the problem products were purchased in an Apple Store in the UK. The problem is that the hole in the base of the bumper case is too small to accommodate the docking connector. Has anyone else had similar issues? Are we now going to have Apple recall the bumper cases or the accessories and replace them with ones which work? Information: Mac Mini, Mackbook, PC & Iphone iOS 4
