Jun 17, 2014My iphone 4s has given me a black screen. It has a full charge, is still receiving texts, calls, etc. but I cannot use the screen at all. I've tried to unlock the screen by swiping and trying to push buttons from memory, but it is not responding. I have tried the hard reset (power button + home button), and it is not working. I cannot get it to power off, and it won't connect to itunes, because the screen is locked. It has done this before, but the hard reset worked. It has not gotten wet, not been dropped, no exterior damage at all. It's not overheating, never had a "jumpy" screen. Would love to not have to drive the 2 hours to the apple store.Â

I liked it better when I only had Apple apps on the first page, then the second page could be third party apps. Why can't we at least choose what native apps we want on our screen? I'm sick of unused apps just sitting there taking up places that useful apps could be.Yes, I've tried folders, but I think folders are ugly looking. Just my opinion.Gosh. I'm so glad HDR isn't an extra app.
