IPhone :: 4S Running Very Slow, Freezes A Lot And The Battery Is Draining Fast?
Apr 26, 2012
i have an iphone 4S in white and it has been running very slow, freezes a lot and the battery is very very bad. can i go to an apple store Examples: Doncaster or Chadstone and give them the one i currently have and get another one free of charge, i have heard this is possible?? however i am on a 24 month contract??
My stock Xperia Neo, running gingerbread (Received all updates from sony) has following issues. The battery runs out of juice rapidly (3 - 4 hours). Even when I turn the phone OFF (not idle) it drains completely to a point where it does not want to power on anymore. Also the battery wont always charge, and when it charges the phone (not the battery) gets really hot (the part where cpu is located).
I thought the battery had given up after 1 year; So I ordered a brand new battery. When I received this new battery, the phone restarted. But this new battery faced all the same problems. Phone running hot, battery draining really quick (withing 3-4 hours idle, wifi and data turned off). And when the phones powers off due to the battery being completely empty, it does not restart any more and it does not charge anymore.
I recently updated my N8 to ANNA. After that I'm facing lot of issues such as the battery lasts only less than 12 Hrs, problems with e-mails, slow response etc. How can I roll back my phones software to Symbian v3. I dont want to take my phone to any Nokia Care centres.
This is my third Tour (I just got this one a week ago) and with it sitting in my pocket where I have service, not running ANY applications, it is running hot and draining battery very quickly. Did a battery pull, double checked memory leaks, and nothing is taking care of it. It's draining at about 15% per hour. Any thoughts (other than Tours suck.)
My iPhone 3GS is only a couple weeks old and the battery has started draining really fast. Today, it's only been off the charger for about 2 hours and was only used once to make a call and to check facebook. 3 minutes of actual use, tops. It's already down to about 50% battery life.
I think it's a software thing. The same thing happened yesterday. After a few hours of being off the wall charger, it was down to about 30%. Then, I plugged it into the computer for about a minute and it was back to nearly 100% and was fine for the rest of the day.I tried restarting the phone today to see if that somehow jostled things into working. It didn't. I don't mind isolated issues, but this is starting to seem like a chronic problem.
I feel like my battery is draining extremely fast in 3.0. I dunno if the numerical battery from apple is off compared to the old jailbroken numerical but I feel like its dropping fast. only jailbroken apps I have installed are iblacklist and icallbr
I charge my iphone at least 2 times in a day. I have an iphone 4s running 5.1 and I am so disappointed because my my battery keeps draining even if I am not using my iphone, seriously im thinking in replacing the battery. I charge my iphone to 100% 20min later without using it 80%.
I have a Iphone 5s. The phone charges really slow, and dies really fast. I am barely on it now since this happen. I tried restoring at home, and also resetting. I took a trip to Apple two days ago, and they ran the diagnostic. He said the battery is healthy but something is wrong with the firmware or software. After he restored it but it still is doing the SAME thing.
Anyone having serious draining of the battery after pwning 2.0.2 firmware? I just charged it to full, and my phone after around 20 mins of music listening, is at 80%. Ive never had my battery on either gen of phone drop from 20 minutes of music.
I have push off, 3G off, location services off. Winterboard and intelliscreen are the only apps running. Could they be bugged?
Today I noticed my battery went from 100% to 33% in the span of an hour. I did a power down and reboot but that didn't help, as I was losing a percentage point a minute. So I went to charge it on my PC, and got it back up to 44% and then unplugged it because I had to make a phone call. About 5 minutes later the battery meter jumped up to 82%.
So when it seemed ok for a while, but then it started draining real fast once again.Any idea what the deal is? Is it really draining that fast or could the meter be off? I have a 3GS that is redsnow JB. Not unlocked. I could restore it if need be to factory. But I am curious if anyone has seen this type of behavior.
iphone 4s battery draining extremly fast, how annoying is that, Battery will be drain out within 12 hrs and I just usually watch 30 mins video (not using 3G/wifi) and 10mins on Phone . I always turn off my Siri, Auto Detect Time Zone, 50% Brightness, NO background Apps are running and Mail is manually updated.
this is my first Iphone (4S). I have been an avid Droid user for years and always had great luck with them (battery, OS, ect). So I decided a week ago March 25th 2012 to take the plunge and get an iphone family plan with my significant other, assuming "what the heck, everyone says the battery life is the best thing about the phone". From day one this phone has been Not only is my phone affected, but my girlfriend's same model phone is the same exact way. So let me get to it already:I consider myself a tech-savy person and thought hey I can figure this out, man have I been wrong, along with 98% of 4S users. So the phone came stocked with iOS 5.0.1 I think. After suffering bad battery life for two days,
So I bought my iphone 4s like 3 Months ago and 2 days ago was my bday. The Story was my friends borrowed my Iphone 4s just for Browsing some websites they wanna look at and the next day, my Iphone 4s Battere suddenly Drained so fast. I noticed that (I Think) my Iphone won't Turn into Standby mode because when I open (General -> Usage -> Time Since last full charge) The Usage and the Standby have the same Minutes, so its like my Iphone is Running all the time and won't go into Standby mode. It's like some Apps or Something is stuck and make my Iphone running all day, but I already check apps that runs (by double click the home button) but there's no apps running (NOTHING!).
Since a couple of weeks ago my battery started to drain very-very fast. It used to last all day long, now it's over before lunch. I checked the Battery Replacement Program and my battery serial is not included.Â
I also ran all the recommendations in URL... but it is still the same. My only guess is that some updated app is taking away the battery but don't have a clue of which one.Â
My iphone was working well and one day it started to drain really really fast. almost 1% per 3 minutes, without using any app. I've done everything i have to do to improve my battery life:Touch ID, Location Services, Notifications, Background App,Brightness All of them disabled. So , i made every kind of restore that exists (network settings, without any Security or Icloud copy). I've disabled my Icloud Account too. and the problem persists, i really dont know what to do.Â
I bought my Iphone 5S, in December 2013, so i cannot imagine that my battery drain in that way. In 4 hours , i have to charge it again, with a minimal use.
My iPhone gets hot after 15 or so minutes whilst on Skype phone conversation and normal phone conversation and it makes it impossible to talk for longer than that, this has happened for a long time now and my warranty has expired. Also my phone can barely last more than an hour if I use it to download and view my PDF files from my inbox using 3G and a quarter of my battery is drained just from listening to it for an hour.
Lately I've been leaving 3G on and the battery seems to drain rapidly fast, even when I have it locked it drains quiet a lot and sometimes it also lags. I have a iPhone 3GS and I was thinking whether erasing and restoring it back to normal would work maybe.
I got my new iphone 4s two days ago and I took my phone off charge this morning at 7.45 and already at 12 its down to 60%. I have turned off location settings, reduced the brightness, turned of push and notifications. And as I whatapp I can literally watch the battery go down. Should I take it to have it looked at, or is that normal apple battery standard?
Recently I notice that my iPhone 5s's battery is draining so fast that even on standby, usage time is still running. I already tried I read in the web about restoring, restating, disabling but nothing seems to work.
I've only had this happen a few times, but it does worry me. I'll be walking down the street and notice that my pocket feels a bit warm. I check the iphone and it's running warm and the battery is mostly drained. I'm worried about both symptoms, as I don't want the thing to get damaged and I don't want it to run out of juice just when I need it most.
All extra stuff is turned off when this happens (3g, bluetooth, wifi, etc.) except for location services. Does location services take up that much in the way of resources?
I have an iphone 4 with 3G from Verizon. I have had this phone since 4/2012 and was working fine. Battery was lasting up to two + days. All of a sudden yesterday it started getting hot and battery was draining in about 4 to 5 hours. I did a reboot this afternoon and phone is now running cooler but battery is still draining quickly. In the last hour it has drained about 20% and i have not been on the phone. I have turned off all apps.
I just restored my iPhone because of a cover art issue, and that works fine but now the battery can't seem to stay put for more than a day or two. It charged down fast a couple of days ago, which was weird, so I ran it down and recharged overnight two nights ago. Yesterday I took it out of the USB in the morning and the battery seemed fine throughout the day, but then at night it started going down faster and was about halfway down by the time I went to sleep. When I woke up this morning (~8 hours later), it was at 10% remaining, and an hour later I had to plug it in because it wouldn't turn on.
When I checked the usage stats after waking up (when there was 10% left), it said it had been in use for something like 20 hours since the last full charge (and standby for a day and three hours, which was about how long it had been since I took it out of the charge).
There's no way I used my iPhone for 20 hours yesterday or even in the last few days. Something must be sucking up the battery. What could it be? Location services and 3G are off, I'm connected to WiFi and fetch mail every hour from one account but that's never done this before. What could be sucking up my battery, and how do I find out?
The first week when I got my BlackBerry 9700 the battery was amazing! Now my battery dies so fast like 5-6 hours with barley any usage. I did a battery pull and not use any softwares what's so ever. Anyone else having this problem?
