I enabled photostream on both my macbook pro and my iphone, and also in iphoto. I took a few pictures with my iphone to test it out and when i go to iphoto to try and see them it says there are no photos. Does it take a few minutes for the photos to get into iphoto or something? Or do i need to do something else?

I just went in, however, and my August 2014 photo stream, which syncs from my iPhone, only has one picture from each day/set of photos I have taken.
It is extremely odd - only the first photo from a vacation I went on, the event I went to last night, the meal I photographed on Tuesday are showing up.

So I finally set up my photo stream. For about 24 hours it was working. Now when I take a picture it does not save to the photo stream album on my phone. It says that the Photo Stream is ON but it doesnt seem to be working.

After creating a new album, all the photo in it get duplicated, once in the app iphoto.
And keep duplicating every time the app updates the library! Now it's #12! Feels like the magician in "Fantasy" Disney's movie!
Note: luckily they are duplicated just in the app iphoto, not in the default image app.

If I create a photo album on my iphone 4S I cannot get it to sync with my albums on iPhoto. I have tried deleting the ipod cache and other 'fixes' I have found via web searches but still cannot get it to sync. Does anyone have a solution. Syncd several photo albums from iPhoto into new iPhone 3G. Now, if I try to delete from phone there is no way. In Photo folder (on phone) it shows a folder for camera roll as well as the three folders from iPhoto. I know that I can delete items in camera roll, but my albums are outside the camera roll. If I have the phone connected to my Mac, iPhoto shows the phone; it shows what is in the camera roll but it doesn't show the other albums. So I have no way of deleting them from phone. I've also connected to a PC with the same results -- "no photos."

I have photos older than 30 days (i.e., not in the cloud anymore) that are in the photo stream album on my iphone. I already deleted them from my camera roll to free up space, but had not yet transfered them to my PC. How do I transfer these photos to my PC and still preserve the date they were taken? If I copy them to the camera roll to then transfer, it changes the date to today...I want to preserve the original date of the photo.

I am trying to view some photos taken on my iPad Air, but on my iPhone 5S, My Photo Stream is not an option. The folder simply isn't there, and no photos appear from my iPad. I recorded videos using my iphone then imported them to iPhoto on my macbook pro. Now I want to sync the same videos back to the factory photo app on my iphone 4s. Ive tried selecting "Include videos" under the photo sync tab. Then I tried syncing it to my iphone as a movie under the movie tab... That worked except it was in my Videos app and not back in the factory photos app where I need it to be!!!how to get Videos back to the Photo app like I can do with the Pictures???

You can delete individual photos from Photo Stream - go to "Photos" (yellow flower folder) stream click on the arrow in the right hand upper corner, then click on the photos you want to delete and at the bottom of the screen right hand corner click delete, then confirm deletion and they are gone. It's a good idea to always reboot your Iphone so the effects can take effects especially when you are making changes to the device.

Before I switched from a 5 to 5s, my photos has stopped "streaming" to my PC. I would get every other photo and then just random photos would be added to the MyPhotoStream folder on my PC when I was connected to wi-fi...
