IPhone :: 4 Does Not Record Voice When Recoding Video
May 6, 2012
When i use voice memos, it records the voice as it should. but when i record a video the voice is not clear and very very low. this happened after one of the updates. I don't know what is happening with it. It used to be normal.
i tried recording a video on my phone but you can just barely hear anything, but when i tried recording some audio on the voice memo app, it was working fine! why is it happening? it's very frustrating and annoying... nothing is blocking the mic by the way so that's out of the picture.
So I'm having my Nokia Lumia 710 from 2012 February. I tried to record videos but there are 2 different ways how my phone handles it. After making a video, it freezes (The screen freezes, the last picture of the video is visible, it's probably saving) and than, the video is gone. The phone locks itself, and the video+music library doesn't contain my video. The phones saves my video (happened only a few times...), but when I'm looking it back (on PC and on phone) it's lagging, and pictures fall out... Seconds fall out from the video, but the sound is running. The picture freezes sometimes, and the sound is running.
Is there a way to record multiple voice-mail's and then switch between the prerecorded voice-mails? Rather than having to record a new voicemail everytime I want to change it?
Just got new iPhones a couple of months ago. Up until now everything was great. Now when I put a call on speakerphone, the other party can't hear me at all. If I blow into the mic, they can hear that, but they can't hear me talk. I've cleaned the mesh with a soft, dry toothbrush as suggested, made sure that the volume didn't read "headset", turned the volume up, turned the phone off-on, made sure nothing else was blocking the mesh over the mic, etc.
The really weird thing is that I was able to record a "Voice Memo" which uses the same mic and the recording sounded just fine.
So, is it hardware or is it software? Doesn't seem to be hardware since I can record a "Voice Memo" with no problem and I can also communicate with Siri just fine. It seems that the problem only happens when using the phone speakerphone feature.
I'm currently having an issue w/ my iPhone 4. For some odd reason when people call me they can't hear me but I can hear them loud & clear. I can record voice memos w/ no issues what-so-ever. I'm not sure what I can do to fix this issue. I've also tried replacing my sim card w/ a new one & that didn't work either, unless that sim card was a bad one as well.
Today, I was trying to record a video but when I was reviewing it i notice that the sound was all muffled like if I was covering the microphone. So I took of my OtterBox Defender Case but that wasnt the problem at all. I tried blowing on both microphones that didnt work I tried cleaning it out with a cotton swab but no luck!
My iPhone4 used to be able to record video and sound perfectly well, then suddenly for no known reason it has stopped. It will record video on the camera but no sound will be recorded just a humming noise. There isn't a problem with the microphone because it will record sound on other apps. This problem also effects Face Time, I can see and hear people, but they can't seem to hear me. I have had the phone for around 6 months now. What should I do? Can it be fixed or will I need to get a new one?
The Blackberry Curve 9300 manual tells me how to record voice notes but doesn't tell me how long I can record. Is there a set time or can I record until the battery dies?
my nokia n79 has a problem whenever i record the video it gets stuck in the starting 15-20 secs then resumes normally. did anyone else experience the same problem.
I'm unable to record any video on my z3+. My camera app launches fine, but when I try and record it becomes extremely slow and unresponsive. When it doesn't crash it records extremely choppy videos that are barely watchable. (please note, this is regular recordings, not 4k). I have the same problem in third party camera apps. I've tried all sorts, forcing the camera app to stop, clearing data, reseting etc. I've just done a factory reset and the problem remains. Also, I'm unable to download the high res music from the promotion (posted that in another thread).
Together with the overheating issues I'm seriously regretting getting this phone, and recommend others dont. I'll probably be returning it this week. It's a shame because I really liked my Xperia z.
