IPhone :: 4 No Longer Syncing To ITunes

Last week my iPhone 4 arrived, and I've synced it twice with my computer already, and it's worked fine. But I have been trying to sync it with iTunes for the past two days, and nothing is happening. I plug my phone into my computer, the phone says that it is charging, and the pop-up that asks if I want to upload the photos on my phone to the computer comes up, but it never syncs. I know the phone still has space because it is a 32 GB phone and I only have 800 songs on it, and less than 20 photos, and only a few videos. I've tried restarting my computer, and rebooting my iPhone, but nothing seems to be working.

IPhone :: ITunes No Longer Syncing Apps
My iTunes has for some reason stopped syncing apps to and from my iPhone (I buy all my apps directly on the iPhone). Judging by the apps listed in iTues it stopped backing them up over 2 months ago. Since then I have bought and deleted over 30 apps worth lots of money. Generally I buy many apps that I play a few times then take off for a while then re-load to play them again, often moving them to my touch to free up space on my phone. I have way more apps than I can install at any given time.

Well tonight I tried to change my line up of applications only to find that ALL of my latest apps are missing. Everything I have bought in the past several months is totally gone. When I try and tell it to synch the apps it tells me that it will erase everything on the iPhone and only install what is in the iTunes library. Basically I am about to loose a couple hundred dollars or more worth of apps.

Is there anyway I can dig these apps out of the back ups iTunes takes every time I do a sync? Is there anyway I can keep the apps that are on the phone now and still keep the ones that are in iTunes? there has got to be a way around this.

IPhone :: Photo Albums No Longer Syncing Correctly Since Last ITunes Update?
I have 10 albums that I sync to my iPhone. I have a specific photo that I have saved as "0" so that it's first when I sync, creating a cool album cover. However, since the recent iTunes update, when I sync photos to my iPhone, it sync them out of order and sometimes creates duplicates. Occasionally, some photos are in the wrong albums.

I unchecked all albums, synced, then resynced with the albums checked, hoping that putting them back on fresh would help, but it doesn't. Incidentally, if I sync 1 album only, they sync in the correct order with no duplicates.

IPhone :: Syncing To Itunes From A New Computer Without Having Original Itunes Library?
i am stuck in a tricky situation and would things first i know this is quite a frequently asked question as i have done a bit of searching on the net about it however could not not find anything that totaly matches myproblem, i have recently purchased a brand new laptop which runs windows 7 compared to my old desktop which ran XP, i have tried syncing all of my iphone 4s contents onto my new laptop's itunes library including everything not just music or videos and i got the infamous pop up "The iphone is synced with another Itunes library. Do you want to erase this iphone and sync with this Itunes library" the problem is that my original itunes library does not exist no more as my desktop was completly wiped and had XP redownloaded onto it again because it had a virus, which also wiped all of my hard drive so i cant even get everything i backed up off of my phone from it, i have managed to sign in to the itunes store and allowed my laptop to work with itunes,i have also transferred my purchases from my phone to my new itunes library but this only includes my apps and obviously not my contacts and photos and everything, i still get the pop up if i go to sync my apps from my library anyway, is there any way i can delete my original itunes library without it even existing anymore so that i can just start afresh and sync everything i have on my phone now directly to my new itunes library? or do i need to purchase this iphone rip/backup/store software that everyone goes on about or something? to be honest its really annoying my now as i just want to be able to sync everything like how i used to,

IPhone :: Calendar Items No Longer Syncing To Mac ICal
My iPhone used to sync perfectly with iCal (well except the calendar colors, but that's normal unfortunately). I'm syncing 6 selected calendars. I noticed today that it is not moving items created on the iPhone to iCal. I have upgraded to 2.2.1 recently, so it could be related to that. I did a few basic tests, syncing with iCal closed as well as open. Items deleted or created on iCal sync fine to the iPhone, but not vice versa.

IPhone :: 3GS No Longer Shows Up On Itunes
New I phone 3gs initially worked when imac was using OS 10.4.1.1 and worked on mac books running 10.5.8. I updated the Imac to 10.5.8 and now the Iphone is not recognized by the itunes, instead when the iphone is plugged in, the computer thinks that it is a phone and syncs it to iphoto and tries to download photos. Tried restarted computer and iphone, no change. My wife's iphone was synced to imac and now has same problem. when i plug iphone into mac book, it recognizes the iphone, unfortunately, the iphone is registered with the imac so can't do much with the mac book.

IPhone :: How Come 3G No Longer Shows Up Nor Charges In ITunes?
All of a sudden my iPhone 3G doesn't show up in the iTunes sidebar on my 20" iMac, but using the same cable, it does on my MacBook's iTunes. I have tried plugging it in directly to the iMac as well as to my Belkin hub, but it no longer shows up in iTunes, nor does it charge when plugged it. The iPhone stays dark when first plugged into the iMac now. I have restarted the iMac a few times, I have powered the iPhone on and off, and I have reset the iPhone more than once all with no change. However, the iPod now does show in the sidebar and on the Desktop, and it charges now after the iMac restarts were done. All the software is updated on both computers and on the iPhone 3G. Does anyone have any other suggestions to try. The iPhone 3G works in every other way as usual.

IPhone :: ITunes No Longer Allows To Sync - Only A Restore
I haven't done a sync for a week or so and now iTunes thinks I've got a new iPhone. That means I can only restore my phone from the backup from a couple of weeks ago, in which case I would lose photos, contacts etc that I have collected since then. Of course I can restore and lose my last week of stuff, but that's annoying... Can I get around this?

IPhone :: Updated To Itunes 7.7 / No Longer Syncs With Outlook
Running Windows Vista Business on my Gateway Laptop. Updated to iTunes 7.7 since that was what I was asked to do as part of the V2.0 update on the iPhone. Updated to V7.7 of iTunes and then to V2.0 on my iPhone. Now my iPhone takes several minutes to sync and when it does it doesn't sync with the Outlook calendar. Checked the settings to make sure they haven't changed. Reinstalled iTunes "No Joy"! By the way, the sync problem was on the V1.1.4 iPhone software version as well. It seemed to start right after the iTunes update.

IPhone :: ITunes Created Ringtones No Longer Playing
All of the sudden for no reason at all (i.e., I haven't damaged, added to or subtracted from apps, etc) the custom ringtones I made in iTunes are not playing on my iPhone. If I choose them in the settings menu, all I get is silence. I've got customs ringtones I created in Garageband that still work fine as do all the stock ringtones on the phone.

The iTunes ringtones show up and play fine in iTunes. They show as synced to the phone. I've restored the phone OS three times without using a backup so it would be fresh. This is FRUSTRATING! Anyone have any ideas?

IPhone :: No Longer Syncs Photos After Upgrading To ITunes On Mac OS
I upgraded my iTunes from 8.1.1 to 8.2 yesterday, and immediately iTunes removed all my photos that I synced from iPhoto. I cannot get it to sync again. To troubleshoot the problem, I have tried:
- unchecking "Sync photos from:", sync it, checking it again, and syncing again
- syncing a folder of nine photos

Neither worked. There is simply no way I can get my iPhone to sync photos anymore. I haven't tried a full iPhone reset because I'm not sure what that might do to the data. I am using iTunes 8.2 on Mac OS X 10.5.7 with all patches installed. My MacBook Pro is a first-generation MacBook Pro and my iPhone is the second generation (3G) iPhone with 8GB of storage. By the way, iTunes appears to successfully create iPod Photo Cache folders - it is just not syncing, and it isn't a disk space issue either.

IPhone :: 4 Cannot Disconnect From ITunes, Despite Not Being Attached Via The Cord Any Longer
I have an iPhone 4, I believe that I have disconnected my iPhone from iTunes while it was updating (accidentally, of course) and it now says it's still connected to iTunes despite no longer being physically attached by the cord and will not load any other screen. I have tried force reboot and it restarts, yet still says it's connected to iTunes. The computer gave an alert, informing me that there had been a malfunction and that the device was now unreadable. I've had a look for a solution and can't find a resolution to this particular predicament. I am not adverse to restoring it to factory settings, although there are some pictures that I would like to take off it before doing so.

IPhone :: ITunes 8.01 Not Syncing
Using iTunes 8.01 (or whatever the latest version is) on leopard, I cannot sync with my iPhone (3g, 16gb v2.1). When I click Sync the process stalls on "syncing contacts with", if i deselect contacts, it hangs at Syncing Calendar with, or Syncing bookmarks. This will continue indefinitely, i've let it run for an hour with no end in sight.

I don't know why it's happening but it seems fairly common with other 3g users, there are quite a few threads around the internet about it but no real solutions. The only way i can sync my other iTunes info is by deselecting all syncs in the "Info" tab of the phone.

My contacts and appointments update properly from my PC! When I plug in and Sync with the iMac, iTunes recognizes my phone (on the left in the Device list) and attempts to do a sync. It looks as though its making the back up then updating and then its complete! None of my music transferred. If I deselect music from, these still remain on my phone. My podcasts are not updating either.I have the option to sync music and podcasts checked off.Side note iTunes will charge my phone when plugged in. I have a 32 gb 3Gs 3.1.2

IPhone :: Syncing To ITunes?
I have just purchased my first iPhone, although have been using iTunes for some time. I registered my iPhone on a friend's computer as I was away from home. I have now returned home and tried to sync the iPhone to iTunes. On first two attempts I got a 'blue screen' and my PC closed down and reopened. Now despite reinstalling iTunes, and generally going through the trouble shooting processes, I cannot get the PC to even acknowledge that the USB with iPhone is connected to the PC. Not even to so much as charge it. My iPod shuffle still syncs with no problems at all.
