I shut my phone in a car door two days ago. when I took it out of my pocket it was still on and working. I let it sit for a while but it shut off. Nothing I try works. I've tried restoring it, chrging it, googled things to do and absolutely nothing works.

Around a week ago I used a friends 'selfie stick'. The same day I was walking around Windsor and noted that the phone had powered down. I tried pressing the power key, but the phone did not turn on. I took the battery out, replaced it and then the phone came back on.
The problem now seems to reoccur when I have put my phone in my back pocket and either walk some distance, or keep it in my back pocket in the car (for some reason).
My phone went dead , I think battery was completely flat , now the phone is off , the screen won't even show the battery sign. How can I turn it back on ?

my phone other than recently the battery life has been pretty bad all of a sudden (I think it's my charger) , anyways I was outside taking a picture on my phone and as soon as it took the picture the screen went black and it was completely unresponsive, tried turning it on, reset, nothing worked. I took the battery out and back in and It turned on, BUT then my time and date was completely wrong and for some reason since the time and date was wrong it made my internet not work.

I was using my iphone 4 today when it just shutoff, I tried turning it back on by using the power button. I tried turning it back on by holding down the sleep button and the main button at the same time for over 30 sec.I had it fully charged but it still wont turn on. I put it on the charger for about an hour and it still wont turn on. I havent had any problems liek this on my iphone before. I havent dropped it, I havent jailbroken it. I have tried DFU.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was using my iPhone 4 today when I went to the kicthen to get somthing to drink and upon returning to my phone I noticed the screen wouldn't turn on. Now the battery wasn't dead because it had a 80% charge left so it has to be either a OS failure or a hardware failure and when I switched the ringer button back and forth it wouldnt viberate. I tried conecting it to iTunes to do a reset but I can't because the power button is broken (which happened suddenly months ago but didn't fix it, which I regret now) so now I'm stuck with a faulty iPhone and I can't do anything to fix it. I don't have apple care for it either, which I also regret.

I thought it was a LCD problem so i bought a new lcd screen from amazon and well it some-what works. I hear siri and it vibrates a couple of times (vibrates when i plug it to a charger) but the screen is off , nothing no light or anything, also the light in the back is always on (it did that before). My question is whats the issue now? and is it still fixable? Also i can't connect it to itunes because of password and i don't know how to unlock the phone through the computer.In addition, I already tried holding the home and power button for 10-20 seconds, even holding just the power button...

I haven't seen anyone having this issue out of the numerous ones I've seen on this site. My iPhone 4's screen was sometimes going black. Hitting the home or power button wouldn't turn it back on. I'd have to hold down the home and power buttons to do a hard reboot to get it back up.
I returned my phone yesterday to get replaced because I was also having the No SIM Card Installed error. My new iPhone 4 is having the same black screen issue occasionally, though.

Ive had this iphone for about 2 years. It is in perfect condition. i was using it all day the day it started messing up. I was taking pictures and i was uploading them to facebook. My facebook became slow and not working right so i restarted my iphone and all of a sudden in the corner it says NO SERVICE. I wasnt really trippen about it because i have a prepaid sim card in it that i havent paid in 2 months or so. But it shortly turned off and turned back on by itself. It was doing that until the battery died all the way. That was when i got kinda scared.Today i plugged it into Itunes and restored it. it still says no service. but it hasnt turned off yet. Im waiting for it.I absolutaly have not dropped it in water so it cant be water damage.
