IPhone :: 3GS Turn Off The Battery Symbol And Use The Percentage Only?
I have the 3GS and I use status notifier, status free memory, and status date/time. I don't have enough room on my status bar because the 3GS show BOTH the percentage and the green battery. Is there a way to turn off the battery symbol and just use the Percentage?

BB Curve :: Battery Symbol With A Red X And Phone Won't Turn On?
i have the curve 8520...it was working earlier today I changed my sim card so I put my phone shut off. After this when I switched on my hand set.. then I found a battery symbol with a red x and the phone is not booting OS. I am not sure what that means but my phone won't turn on and won't charge. I tried taking the battery out and now it turns on but the symbol is still there and the loading bar is on the screen and it won't change. I also took outmy sim card & memory card.

IPhone :: Battery Percentage On / Off?
Seems like since I jailbroke my iP4 the battery has been dropping rapidly. I was at 100% and with 25 minutes of use I was down to 92%. That is not that great if you ask me. I am tired of just becoming so paranoid staring at the percentage every time I use my phone. Does anybody else do the same?Does anybody else hide their percentage so you become so paranoid? Also, anybody battery bein' killed from the jb? Is there also an app that automatically kills apps after I'm done instead of leaving it run in the by?

IPhone :: 3GS Like Battery Percentage On A 3G
Is there any way to get the battery percentage setup like the 3GS has on a 3G? A while ago i heard something about enabling the numeric battery using sbsettings and then doing a restore or something and it stays there. Is there a way to jailbreak to get it to stay and then un jailbreak so that its still there while im on stock 3.0? If so, What are the steps. Edit: Well i just watched a video on how to get it, is there a way to un-jailbreak the phone and still have it there?

IPhone :: 3GS OS 3.1.3 Battery Percentage Fail?
I recently updated my iPhone 3GS from OS 3.1.2 to 3.1.3.I've experienced some bugs with this update. I will try to explain everything sience my other phones camera can't capture good pictures to show the problem. Here we go: First I power up my iPhone. Then when it starts up the battery percentage shows me that the battery has 67 percent left. Now comes the bug. After some seconds the battery percentage meter CHANGES to 78 percent. This has never happend before I updated. I am very happy with my iPhone 3GS and I feel pretty disapointed with this update. I find this highly unacceptable sience it has basicly ruined the user experience because I can no longer tell how much power my battery has left in percent.I hope that Apple or someone reading this topic can help me with this problem. Also if i restore my iPhone 3GS, will it delete all my apps and saved data from the apps like high scores from the game "Doodle Jump"? Information: iPhone 3GS iPhone OS 3.1.3

IPhone :: Battery Percentage Upon Click?
Okay, there's something that I literally just noticed a few minutes ago. When I click the battery icon, it changes to show what percentage is left in the battery. I have absolutely no idea when this changed... Has this been a feature provided by Apple for a while? Or is this perhaps something I added? Just some background: I'm running an 8 GB 1.1.4 ZiPhone jailbroken phone, still on my original AT&T contract. I thought it may have something to do with a 3rd party application I'd installed called "StatusStyle", but I uninstalled to see if it stayed, and it did..

IPhone :: Battery Percentage Is 3 Percent Off?
I own an iPhone 3G, jailbroken on 3.0 of course, and I wanted the battery percentage indicator in the menu bar just like the 3GS. To do this, I installed asBattery in Cydia from the repository http://apt.iphone-storage.de. This installation makes the official Apple toggle for the percentage indicator appear under General > Usage. When the phone is fully charged, both the battery indicator in the "Free Memory" app and the indicator in the menu bar say 100%. However, the percentage in the menu bar will stay at 100% until the percentage in the "Free Memory" app reaches 96%, at which point the percentage in the menu bar drops to 99%. Here's a picture of Free Memory displaying 95% and the menu bar displaying 98%. Any ideas on how to fix this?

IPhone :: Why Does Battery Percentage Say 23% When It Just Died?
Ok, I've had my iPhone since it came out which has only been a couple months. It's already starting to be inaccurate with the battery percentage information. For example, It'll say 34% remaining, and after I plug it in for about a minute to sync with iTunes it jumps up to 65% remaining. No way it charged that much in just a couple minutes. And just now, I had all the antennas on, streaming music over the internet, using MobileMe to track it's location, everything I could to kill the battery. It finally died after the batter percentage read 0%. I plugged it back in, and it IMMEDIATELY says 23% remaining. Again, no way it "really" charged that much. I know this is typical for batteries, but this usually starts to happen after 1-2 years of continuously being on and ALWAYS being plugged in. I have the 3GS so it's only a couple months old, I charge once a day when it gets to about 30% remaining, and turn on airplane mode at night (I need it for alarm). I do turn it off for a few minutes every couple days too.Anyone else having this same issue with the battery, considering they're basically brand new? And are there any thoughts as to how to get the battery information more accurate?

IPhone :: 3GS Battery Percentage Vs Numeric / SB Settings?
On my jailbroken 3GS, when I toggle between battery percentage and numeric battery via SBSettings, I noticed a 1 to 3% drop in battery reading going from battery percentage to numeric battery. The lower the battery level, the lower the difference between the two readings. This makes me wonder which one is more accurate and how each one gauges remaining battery life.

IPhone :: Bizarre Battery Percentage / 3GS Icon
Today I worked most of the day so my phone didn't get much use. It's jailbroken with Insomnia (which has been off the whole time) and SB Settings and bite SMS. That's it. No winterboard, no categories. I had about 78% when I started work and after about 5hrs, it was down to 52%. A couple hours later, it was down to 39% with less than half on the battery icon with no calls, texts, etc. in between. Next, I'm driving home and make 2 phone calls. I get home and play 3 games of 'Words with Friends' and now it shows 58% and my battery indicator is sure enough, more than half full. No power off, no resets, no resprings. What am I missing here? This has happened over the past couple days but not to this degree.

IPhone :: Weird Missing Battery Percentage IN Settings
So my brother updated his 3g this morning using the provided pwnd ipsw from here. It looked ok but he does not have the battery percentage option in general usage. Just not there. Also YouTube wasn't working and he didn't see any options for notifications. I told him to restore the official apple ipsw with dfu mode and then he used redsnow. Still not there. He is doing it again now checking before redsnow is used. What could have caused this? Anyone else have this issue?
