While upgrading my iPhone 3GS to iOS 4.2 something went wrong and came up with the message "The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred [1015]" Now it will not start at all. I'm trying to update to 4.0 with jailbreak using a custom cooked ipsw file with Snowbreeze 1.6.1 and keep getting error "The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2)."
I've tried both DFU mode AND Recovery mode. I also remembered to remove Saurik's server ip in the hosts file. I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling iTunes and rebooting. I even removed WiFi Sync software thinking that might have affected it somehow. I've uninstalled my vs/firewall software. NOTHING seems to work.
