IPhone :: 3G Battery Went Completely Dead And Now Wont Charge
So last night i noticed my battery went down real quick and eventually went to the dead battery screen so i plugged it in and i got the lighting bolt and left it to charge over night. So now i wake up and its still there so i switched chargers and still the same thing. Im assuming my battery is shot and ive only had the 3G for 2 weeks now, also im jail broken and it will not sync w my mac so i cant do a restore. Basically my question is am i doin something wrong and if not im guess in my warranty is void because of the j/b? I really pissed cause i had no intensions of getin a 3G but my OG fell outa my pocket and the screen shattered(the touch screen still works and its for sale )

IPhone :: Battery At 100% One Minute / Then Completely Dead Next
The strangest thing just happened to my phone. I use my iPhone a lot ... A LOT. So I purchased a car charger so that everytime I'm in the car (which is very often) I can put it on the charger so it can have some juice. If I'm not mistaken, there's no way to "over charge" the battery, so I assume that this is okay. Anyhow, I went out tonight. I charged my phone in the car whenever possible. When I got home, my battery was basically at 100% ... the icon was completely full. I look at my phone a few minutes later, and the "low battery warning" prompt came up. So I rebooted my phone to see what was up. The battery was at 100% again ... then a few minutes later, the "low battery prompt" came up. Now it's sitting on the charger completely in the red, as if I haven't charged it all day. What's going on?

IPhone :: Battery Completely Dead While In Standby Overynight
I've had my iPhone 4 for less than a week now. As soon as it came in, I upgraded the OS to 4.0.1. Last night I went to bed with the phone showing 62% battery life. This morning I overslept an hour because the alarm on the phone didn't go off. I checked my phone and it was dead as a doornail! This is the second time in less than a week my phone has gone completely dead and I have overslept because of it! The other nights the phone was plugged in overnight...last night a 62% charge didn't justify me charging it overnight. Not once did I ever have this happen on my 3GS. I called Apple support today about it and got the standard laundry list of things to check...are location services on? is bluetooth on? is wifi on? Etc...let's be real here, not one of these, or even a combination of these should or will drain a phone 62% while in standby. I have 5 years of tech experience with wireless phones, so please spare the responses that they may, because...they don't. Twice in less than a week I've been late to work because my phone's drained while in standby overnight. The only other option I can think of is to put the phone is airplane mode...which shouldn't have to be done. I've found many articles on the net so far with the very same issue.The funny thing is, my battery life does very well throughout the day. But when I've set the alarm, put the phone on standby, when it hasn't been plugged in, it's dead in less than 7 hours...on standy! Information: iPhone 4 iOS 4

IPhone :: 4 Won't Charge - Battery Dead
My iphone 4 has suddenly stopped charging for some reason. I've had no signs of battery problems at all before this. I've read that some people have managed to fix this problem by doing a hard reset, but my battery was dead before I tried charging it so I can't do this. (when I try I get the connect to power image) I've checked the phone for any signs of lint etc, and cant see anything obvious. I've tried multiple cables and adapters and the usb slot on my macbook and none of these get any response at all. When I plug into a speaker dock I have got, I get the connect to power supply image on the screen. The phone is 2 years old (almost to the day) seems they have made it last the exact length of my contract Was wanting to hold off upgrading till the next iphone comes out

BB Torch :: Battery Goes Completely Dead
My battery goes completely dead but ONLY after i switch it off for the night. It seems to drain away but is perfectly OK during the day. I bought a new (Blackberry) battery and it does the same thing. Is there ac software fix for this or is my phone (bought from a reputable used hone store) just useless?I was also told that the little dot just inside the phone by the charger is supposed o be gold in colour and of it has turned blue then it means that the phone has water damage?

Motorola Droid 3 :: Dead / Battery - Unable To Charge?
Obtained my Droid3 two weeks ago and I'm now finding that it will not charge.Long story short: I did not charge my device for 2 days straight, upon complete epletion of the battery's power I hooked it upto the wall charger and noticed that the screen turned on with the droid symbol and subsequently the charging icon. I left it to charge, and after a while when it was upto 15% I attempted to turn it on by pressing the power button (without holding it down), which caused the screen to go black and ceased the charging.ow whenever I try to charge the device via the wall charger, the white charging LED (between the microUSB and miniHDMI inputs) turns on occasionally and remains there for an hour, after which it goes off again. When I try to charge via the computer the same thing happens, except after 45min or so of charging, the device repeatedly connects and disconnects from the computer USB (the usb connection and disconnection sounds ping repeatedly until I unplug the device). This also happens when I try and turn on the device while charging via USB. Normally after 45min of charging from the computer the device will turn on, with the Droid logo appearing and system activated. Now it will not turn on at all.I have tried removing the battery from the device for at least a min and then recharging, I've also tried removing and re-inserting the battery while the Droid3 is connected to the charger to no avail. To replicate the situation, I've left the battery without charging for a period of 48 hours, and then tried to charge it again via wall charger; same problem: the white LED turned on for about an hour and then went out. The device did not turn on this time. My suspiscions are on the battery..The phone is a great piece of hardware and I've grown to love it, yet I had honestly no idea it would be susceptible to such trivial conditions 3 weeks out of the box. I've ordered an extended battery just in case

I even used a different usb cable from apple.

IPhone :: 4 (OS 5.1.1) - Headset Not Working At All (Completely Dead)
It happens quite often when I call, the receiver can hear me but I can't hear him/her and also sometimes the other way around(!). When I recall ..., most of the time the problem is over. Normally when I plug in the headset, it doesn't work at all ... whatever I try! With plugged in headset the iPhone keeps operating via the built in speakers and I can switch between handsfree and normal (the headset remains completely dead). Only after a complete restore the headset works one or two phone calls and then fails permanent. The connector is clean and can be completely plugged in. Info: iPhone 4, Other OS, 5.1.1

Nokia :: N97 - Touchscreen Completely Dead
My N97's touchscreen stopped working completely a few days ago as I watched it gradually got less responsive throughout this week. First it would stop working for a minute and be fine for the rest of the day, and then it would suddenly stop working much more frequently and now it doesn't work AT ALL. The phone is WORTHLESS if the touch screen doesn't work, because there's no back button on the keypad and you can never select "No" if a question is asked. This is frustrating ecspecially since the phone is only 3 weeks old and I've taken good care of it. What's the matter here? What can I do? I removed the battery, restored to factory settings, did hard resets, updated the firmware...nothing is fixing the touchscreen!

Motorola :: Razr V3c Completely Dead
In my desparation to fix my blank screen issue (see http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1351726 if you're interested in reading), I tried reflashing my phone using the Alltel Monster file. After reflashing didn't work, I stupidly pulled out the cable during mid-flash when the screen briefly worked (which didn't fix things). Now my phone isn't even recognized when I plug it into the USB port. The keypad lights up, but that's it. All the guides to 'unbrick your phone' (Mr Bucket101's Unbrick Kit, etc) seem to start with 'flash your phone with x...' flash/flex but I can't get to that point.

so what happened was, I got my phone in the mail, I use it for a few hours with occasional texting and my friend calls me, and when I answer, the phone dies. I turn the phone on again to see the battery is dead and it dies again, and before it had 85% battery life left apparently. Now the phone is completely dead, when the charger is plugged in, the red light is on and solid (not flashing or anything), when it is plugged in the computer it is on and solid again, except the computer doesn't see its plugged in.

BB Pearl 8100 :: Red Light Flashing 2 Or 3 Times Now Phone Completely Dead
All of a sudden my BB Pearl was flashing RED light 3+2 times consistently. Then as per suggestion removed the data card and the SIM and booted with just battery and it started working, then as per suggestion as I added then and tried to start; it started flashing Red again. I removed the battery and after sometime inserted the same and no light and it is completely blank. Since I bought the new laptop I haven't backed up any contact or memos; so cannot afford to lose any data.I haven't even loaded the BB application on my laptop, was just about to do that. How I can get my BB powered on so that I can copy the data or get it working without losing the data?
