I have a really annoying issue on my Galaxy S6. If i set a custom wallpaper, you can see the Wallpaper move around a few pixels sometimes. It really annoys me, i couldn't find any setting to disable this "effect". The default wallpapers don't have this issue, only if i set a custom one. How to disable this ?

Got my hd maxx on the first day of release. Quite happy with everything except that I find the wallpaper is totally still not like other android phones. I checked the razr maxx with the same 4.0.4 in verizon store. It has normal launcher with panning homescreen.

Yesterday was my first day with my new S6 and still assessing either to keep or not cause of the battery concerns. But today seems to be better with some adjustments...but still fiddling around.
But last night I left it charging over night and noticed this morning the phone was pretty hot and the wallpaper changed by itself. I wasn't using the OEM quick charger but my older regular charger. Any comments?
Also...if I have weak 4G signal and connected to a wifi...is it better to turn off the "Mobile Data" which turns the 4G off too?
So I have this weird problem where my wallpaper won't centre properly. It looks fine on the preview but when it's set it looks zoomed in and and a little off centre to the right.
I'm rooted and using Nova Launcher Prime as well but these issues were there before that anyway.
It's only mildly annoying and not a huge deal but I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I'd like to get it sorted.
Having problem of wallpaper randomly changing? I was running an app and when I closed the app my wallpaper had changed back to a stock s6 wallpaper.

As I deleted the photos from my S5, but only when it was too late I noticed all my photos weren't backed up. One photo of my cat was transferred into a wallpaper and is still on the phone. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the S6, and am using the Google Launcher. I've been having an issue with my icons not staying put. Everything will be in place when I put my phone down, on the charger, or in the holster, and when I pick the phone up or pull it out of it's holster I'll find that some of the icons and/or folders are now on a completely different screen. Sometimes they are two or more screens over. When I go to move the icons myself, I know I have to really move them close to the edge of the screen in order for the next screen over to open up, so I don't believe it's a sensitivity issue with the touch screen.

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust switched from Note 4 to S6. So problem is i have some great high-res wallpapers and when i set it as wallpaper it's not showing in high quality, I didn't had that problem on Note.
When i look at the same image in gallery it's stunning, but when it's set up as a wallpaper its not that sharp as it should be. Same probelm in TW and in Nova Launcher.

I don't have it set to live, I don't have an app that changes it and I haven't done the lollipop reset that ive read most people with this problem have done. I keep pushing it off a day until I start hearing good things. So far the update seems to turn your phone into garbage. I've already had to reset my phone once bc it crapped out on me and it's barely a year old so I am not updating.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S5 and I have tried changing the lock screen wallpaper using the common method described (ie. tapping on a spot on homescreen and clicking set wallpaper for).The problem is, when I do that, it does not give me the option of homescreen/lockscreen, but says "select wallpaper from" (options: gallary, live wallpapers, wallpapers). When I choose from pics in my gallary, it automatically sets it as homescreen wallpaper (no option for lockscreen).
The only time it works for the lockscreen is when it's in the "wallpaper" folder (the one with preset Samsung wallpapers). I've tried looking for this folder to add pictures to it, but I can't seem to locate the folder.So, where this folder is located or better yet, know of another way in which to set the wallpaper for the lockscreen from the gallery or other folders?
I was looking for Samsung Galaxy S wallpapers online and I found some that are 360x640. I tried to use these on the phone but it makes me crop the picture before I can set it as a wallpaper and I'm only ending up with 40 % of the original wallpaper. what size I need to create them in on photoshop?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my S2 a few days back, and am quite impressed with the scrolling background wallpaper. However, I don't understand how to make a wallpaper scrollable. I installed this app called Zedge that lets you download free wallpapers etc. When I choose the image to use as wallpaper, I'm taken to a screen with the following:
- A thumbnail of the image with a resizable orange rectangle.
- 2 icons below that - one with 3 panes that looks like it's meant to select a scrolling wallpaper and the second one showing a single pane.
I choose the one on the left that appears to be for scrolling, then I suppose I have to select the area of the image I want. I want the entire image to be used as a wallpaper, so I select the whole thing. (I've also tried selecting only a sub section). I click save. It generates and sets the wallpaper and...it does not scroll. (I have all 7 home screens enabled).
I go back, choose the icon on the right, select a small area of the image and that gets set as a wallpaper. This also does not scroll. I don't want to go install a 3rd party app just to do this. I have tried with Zedge, as well as locally stored pictures from my Picasa albums. Also, how does one change the 3 default pictures in the 'wallpaper gallery'? I can't find them on the SD card.
No doubt it's simple but I'm trying to uninstall a live wallpaper which I just downloaded and decided that I don't want. I can't seem to find how to do it

I can't power down the phone completely since the screen doesn't allow me to hit the Power Off option! All button seem to be working fine.

I Have a new Galaxy S5 (with lollipop 5.0), coming from a S3 (with 4.3).
The "problem" I have is that in the Galaxy S5, in lots of Apps that are selected to be moved to SD Card, only a very small amount of the App really goes to the SD Card, while on the Glaxy S3 it moved the whole App (most of it anyway).
I post an example (language is Portuguese) with the game Shadowrun in both the S3 and S5. It happens with several other games.
Is the problem related to the lollipop (apps not updated yet)? Is it Sd card related (I just moved it from my S3 without reformatting the card)?
ive never used voice mail before and have just transferred my number from my pay and go phone to contract phone (galaxy s2).once it did it.i got a few network messages and a new voice mail notification.i had to set some sort of number to dial it..and when i call it it, the o2 lady voice just says "at the third stroke the time brought to you by o2 will be blah blah" then beep beep beep..then it just loops....no idea what it is.and i cant get rid of the notification..
